  • Ravens PK Justin Tucker misses field goal in loss to Browns

Ravens placekicker Justin Tucker made one of his two field-goal attempts in the Week 5 defeat to Cleveland.

Tucker missed from 51 yards out, but he has still connected on 11 of his 13 attempts this season, with two field goals from beyond 50 yards. Most kickers would only be borderline options if attached to the same offense, but Tucker is good enough to be considered one of the top 12 at his position.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Perfect in first NFL game

Boswell converted 3-of-3 extra points and his lone field goal attempt (47) in Pittsburgh's 24-20 win over San Diego on Monday.

Boswell is the Steelers' fourth kicker this season, and was playing in his first NFL game, which may have been a factor in to Coach Mike Tomlin's decision to go for the touchdown on the final play of the game, rather than a field goal to send the contest to overtime. Fortunately, it worked out for Pittsburgh and Le'Veon Bell owners, but was a reminder to fantasy owners to avoid the Steelers' kicking game for now.

  • Billy Cundiff: Released by Bills

Cundiff was released by the Bills on Tuesday.

Cundiff was signed last week with Dan Carpenter slowed by a knee injury, but it appears the team is not as concerned about Carpenter's health heading into Week 6. The Bills signed quarterback Josh Johnson to take Cundiff's place on the roster.

  • Connor Barth K | CHI

Buccaneers kicker Connor Barth perfect in return

Buccaneers kicker Connor Barth made a triumphant return to the Bucs, successfully converting all three field goal attempts and a trio of point-after tries in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Jaguars.

Barth helped to quickly put the departed Kyle Brindza's inconsistencies in the rearview mirror, turning in a perfect performance in Week 5. The veteran kicker hit field goals of 35, 45 and 47 yards and was impeccable on his first three career extra-point tries from the newly-instituted distance.

  • Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein has rough day at the office Sunday in loss

Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein missed his first field goal of the season Sunday, then missed another two in a 24-10 loss to Green Bay.

Zuerlein had been lights out heading into Sunday, but dropped his season percentage from 100 all the way to less than 65 percent with the rough day. Zuerlein is ultra-reliable when indoors, but struggles in colder conditions and is part of an anemic offense. That's certainly not a good combination for a fantasy kicker.

  • Matt Bryant K | ATL

Falcons kicker Matt Bryant misses twice in Week 5

Falcons kicker Matt Bryant, who hadn't missed a kick yet this season, hit 2 of 4 field goal attempts in Sunday's overtime win over the Falcons.

Bryant didn't miss by much, as he hit the right upright from 38 yards and doinked the left upright from 48 yards. His two makes came from 28 yards and 42 yards, and he tallied one extra point. He has a good matchup Week 6 against the Saints.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos misses twice Sunday

Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos connected on just one of his three field goal attempts Sunday, converting from 35 yards out.

Santos wasn't really at fault for either of his two missed attempts, with one being blocked and one coming from 66 yards as time expired. He remains among the league leaders in field goals made following seven field goals in Week 4, and the loss of Jamaal Charles could lead to more stalled drives and field goal opportunities for Santos moving forward.

  • Eagles kicker Caleb Sturgis boots four field goals in win Sunday

Eagles kicker Caleb Sturgis converted all four of his field goal attempts and three of his four extra point attempts in Sunday's 39-17 win over the Saints.

Despite missing an extra point in two straight games, Sturgis looked much better in his second game with the Eagles. It likely helped that the stakes weren't nearly as high, with three of his field goals coming in the second half after the Eagles' lead had ballooned to multiple scores. Head coach Chip Kelly said Monday that the team is sticking with Sturgis as their kicker moving forward.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

Jaguars kicker Jason Myers converts only field goal attempt Sunday

Jaguars kicker Jason Myers converted his only field goal attempt Sunday, knocking in a 31-yarder in the third quarter.

Coming off of a disastrous Week 4 in which he missed two potential game-winning field goals, Myers rebounded with a quiet Week 5. While the lone field goal attempt left owners with sometime to be desired, Myers did provide four made extra points.

  • Travis Coons K | LAR

Browns' Travis Coons: Nails four FGs in victory

Coons was marvelous again Sunday, hitting four field goals (43, 43, 37, 32) and converting his lone extra point attempt.

Coons converted his first career game-winning field goal in overtime, drilling a 32-yard shot to lock down the victory for the Browns. He may have even scored a few more points had the Browns not attempted multiple two-point conversions late in the game. The 23-year-old has been quietly productive for Cleveland, and remains without a missed kick in the 2015 season. This output has lifted Coons into the league's top-ten total scorers with 42 points on the year.
