Blair Walsh considered questionable Week 6
Vikings kicker Blair Walsh is considered questionable Week 6 against the Panthers.
Walsh is dealing with a left leg injury, and was limited in practice Thursday. Head coach Leslie Frazier said if Walsh can kick through the injury, they'll let him play.

Leslie Frazier said Blair Walsh should be fine
Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said he believes kicker Blair Walsh will be fine, according to ESPN.
Blair was shut down after feeling some discomfort during kickoffs Thursday. Frazier said the move was precautionary, and he thinks Walsh will "be fine." If Walsh's mechanics are affected by the injury, Frazier admitted the team has a short list of kickers to bring in for the game.

Blair Walsh leaves practice early due to soreness
Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said kicker Blair Walsh was unable to finish practice Thursday because he was "sore," according to the Pioneer Press. No indication was given if Walsh's status for Week 6 vs. Carolina was in jeopardy.
Walsh was officially listed with a left hamstring injury on the practice report.

Falcons kicker Matt Bryant did not attempt a field goal against the Jets. Atlanta passed up a chip shot on a failed 4th-down gamble right before halftime.
Bryant did convert four PATs. He's back in action Week 7 against Tampa Bay.

Dustin Hopkins placed on IR Monday
The Bills announced Monday they placed kicker Dustin Hopkins on injured reserve with a groin injury that has kept him sidelined the first five games. Hopkins did return to practice on a limited basis last week, but coach Doug Marrone said Monday Hopkins wasn't getting better.

Panthers kicker Graham Gano wasn't asked to do much in Sunday's loss at Arizona.
Gano converted a 22-yard field goal in the opening quarter and then drilled a 51-yard shot as time expired in the first half. He went 2 for 2 in field goal attempts in a 22-6 defeat. -

Matt Prater drills game-winner
Broncos kicker Matt Prater made his presence felt as he nailed a game-winning 28-yard field goal as time expired at Dallas in Week 5.
Prater drilled a 48-yard shot in the third quarter and a 50-yard attempt in the fourth quarter as well. He finished 3 for 3 in field goal attempts and converted six extra points in a 51-48 victory. -
Justin Tucker K | BAL
Justin Tucker connects on four field goals
Ravens kicker Justin Tucker took advantage of his numerous chances in Week 5, nailing four field goals in a 26-23 win over the Dolphins.
Tucker was good from 42, 50, 25 and 44 yards, the latter of which proved to be the game winner. He added two successful extra-point attempts.
Tucker is 11 for 13 on the season, while adding 12 extra points. He is averaging nine points through the first five games of the season.

Caleb Sturgis K | LAC
Caleb Sturgis finally misses on long attempt
Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis missed his first kick of his career in Week 5 against the Ravens, and it came at a bad time in a 26-23 loss.
Sturgis, who opened his career making 10 straight field-goal attempts, missed a game-tying attempt at the end of the fourth quarter from 57 yards. He had the distance on the kick, but missed wide left.
Sturgis was solid otherwise, connecting from 37, 25 and 48 yards out and adding two extra-point attempts to finish with 11 points.
Sturgis is 10 for 11 on the season on field goals and 12 for 12 on extra points. He heads into the bye week averaging more than eight points per game.
