Kyler Murray QB | MIN
Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Sets new career high in win
Murray completed 27 of 37 passes for a career-high 380 yards and one touchdown with one interception, adding 31 rushing yards and a TD on nine carries, in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
The Cardinals found the end zone in every quarter as Murray kept the offense humming, capping his afternoon with two long bombs to DeAndre Hopkins that accounted for 82 yards and a TD. Murray is only the third quarterback in history to throw for at least five touchdowns and run for at least five touchdowns through his team's first five games of the season, joining Cam Newton and Kordell Stewart. He should be able to pad those totals significantly in Week 6 against a reeling Cowboys defense.

Derek Carr QB | NO
Raiders' Derek Carr: Stellar in upset win
Carr completed 22 of 31 passes for 347 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in the Raiders' 40-32 win over the Chiefs on Sunday. He also rushed for one yard on four carries.
Carr authored what is arguably the season's biggest upset thus far, as he played one of his best games yet in his two-plus seasons under the tutelage of coach Jon Gruden. The veteran signal-caller displayed excellent command of the offense while connecting with 10 different pass catchers on the afternoon. HIs three touchdown passes went to Nelson Agholor (59 yards), Darren Waller (five yards) and the returning Henry Ruggs (72 yards), and he led a trio of double-digit play drives. Carr appears to be truly hitting his stride as the season enters its second month, as he now has back-to-back 300-yard performances and boasts a sparkling 11:1 TD:INT heading into a Week 7 home interconference showdown against the Buccaneers following a Week 6 bye.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Pair of TD passes in trouncing
Jackson completed 19 of 37 passes for 180 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, adding three rushing yards on two carries during Sunday's 27-3 win against the Bengals.
Though Jackson extends his regular-season record to an incredible career mark of 23-4, his three rushing yards against Cincinnati are the fewest in any of his NFL starts. The 2019 MVP had been efficient while posting a 68.4 percent completion rate with seven TDs and one INT coming into Week 5, but his passing yardage totals have been underwhelming, as he is now averaging fewer than 190 yards per game following Sunday's outing against Cincinnati. A Week 6 matchup against Philadelphia provides a bounce-back opportunity for Jackson, as the Eagles surrendered 239 passing yards, 136 rushing yards and 38 points in a loss to the Steelers on Sunday.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Eclipses 300 yards in loss
Mahomes completed 22 of 43 passes for 340 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Chiefs' 40-32 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. He also rushed six times for 21 yards and another score and threw a two-point conversion pass.
Mahomes struggled with his completion rate as the game wore on, with the Raiders doing a very good job overall against the quarterback's high-powered collection of weapons. Mahomes did lose Sammy Watkins to a hamstring injury during the contest and also saw a first-quarter touchdown to Tyreek Hill called back due to penalty, but his fourth-quarter interception on a pass intended for Travis Kelce was especially costly with KC down by nine points and only 5:44 remaining. Ultimately, the fact he was unexpectedly put in the trail position helped Mahomes eclipse the 300-yard mark for the third time in the last four games. The 2018 NFL MVP also has multiple passing touchdowns in each game and will look to help Kansas City atone for the surprising divisional loss in a Week 6 Monday evening road matchup against the Bills.

Kyle Allen QB | BUF
Football Team's Kyle Allen: Retaining starting job
Coach Ron Rivera confirmed Allen, who exited Sunday's loss to the Rams with an arm injury, will retain the starting job if he's ready to play Week 6 against the Giants, Mike Jones of USA Today reports.
Rivera added that he held the quarterback out the rest of the game Sunday because Allen's arm was sore and the coach wanted to be cautious. The third-year signal-caller completed nine of 13 passes for 74 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions before exiting the contest, and he was replaced by Alex Smith, who was seeing his first action since the 2018 season due to a gruesome leg injury.
-
Jared Goff QB | DET
Rams' Jared Goff: Eclipses 300 yards in win
Goff completed 21 of 30 passes for 309 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Rams' 30-10 win over the Washington Football Team on Sunday. He also netted zero yards on three carries and committed a fumble that was recovered by the offense.
Goff distributed the wealth nicely among seven different pass catchers, showing his greatest rapport with Gerald Everett, Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. The fifth-year quarterback now has a pair of 300-yard efforts in his last three games despite not putting up more than 32 attempts in any contest, and he's thrown for under 267 yards just once over the first five weeks of the 2020 campaign. Goff will look to carry over the momentum into a tough Week 6 road divisional battle against the 49ers.

Deshaun Watson QB | CLE
Texans' Deshaun Watson: Lights up Jaguars in win
Watson completed 25 of 35 pass attempts for 359 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 5 against the Jaguars. He also added 25 yards on the ground.
Watson threw an interception in each half, but he otherwise had little trouble marching the Texans down the field. He accounted for all three of the team's scores, logging touchdown passes of 44, 19 and 28 yards to three different receivers. The effort marks Watson's second consecutive game reaching 300 passing yards, as well as his third consecutive contest with multiple passing scores. Watson will draw a stiffer test in Week 6, as he and the Texans will square off against Tennessee.

Gardner Minshew QB | ARI
Jaguars' Gardner Minshew: Tops 300 yards
Minshew completed 31 of 49 pass attempts for 301 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 5 against Houston. He also chipped in 18 yards on four rushes.
Minshew attempted a season-high 49 passes, but he wasn't particularly efficient by averaging just 6.1 yards per attempt. His longest completion of the day was a 51-yard deep shot to Chris Conley, though he also connected on a pair of completions that went for more than 15 yards with Laviska Shenault. For the season, Minshew has at least two passing scores in four of his five starts and topped 300 yards on three occasions. He'll face a positive matchup against the Lions in Week 6.

Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Week 5 game still on
Tuesday's scheduled contest between Allen and the Bills vs. the Titans is in line to proceed as planned, barring further developments, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
That said, the status of the slated 7:00 ET kickoff should still be monitored by fantasy managers, with Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com noting that "another positive (COVID-19 test Monday) would likely throw things into limbo." In addition to having their Week 5 game moved to Tuesday, the Bills' Week 6 tilt against the Chiefs has been moved from this coming Thursday to Monday, Oct. 19.

Kyle Allen QB | BUF
Football Team's Kyle Allen: Suffers arm injury
Allen (arm) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Rams, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.
Allen took a big hit from an L.A. defender near the sideline and was examined in the sideline tent before going to the locker room. There's a chance Allen reenters the contest, but Alex Smith has taken over the offense in his stead. Note Washington's previous starter Dwayne Haskins isn't at the stadium Sunday due to an illness, so tight end Logan Thomas, a quarterback in college, may be the emergency option in the event another change under center is needed.
