Trace McSorley QB | WAS
Ravens' Trace McSorley: Could play in Week 17
Coach John Harbaugh said both Robert Griffin and McSorley could play in Sunday's game against the Steelers.
McSorley -- a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft -- has yet to make his regular-season NFL debut. However, the Ravens have locked up the No. 1 playoff seed in the AFC, so likely MVP Lamar Jackson, among other top players, will get a week of rest. McSorley played four preseason games, completing 56.7 percent of passes for 533 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Redskins' Case Keenum: Drawing Week 17 start
Keenum will start at quarterback Sunday against the Cowboys with interim coach Bill Callahan ruling Dwayne Haskins (ankle) out for the Week 17 contest, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
Haskins' rookie season came to the end early in the third quarter of Sunday's 41-35 overtime loss to the Giants, when the first-round pick suffered a left high-ankle sprain. Keenum, who had opened the season as Washington's starter, came on in relief of Haskins for just his second appearance since Week 8, finishing out the loss with 16 completions for 158 yards and a score across 22 attempts to go along with a one-yard touchdown run. Keenum's presence under center shouldn't amount to much of a dropoff, if any, for Washington's pass catchers as the Redskins attempt to score an upset win over the playoff-hopeful Cowboys on the road.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Won't play Week 17
Coach John Harbaugh has ruled out Jackson for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Jackson thus will end an MVP-worthy campaign having completed 66.1 percent of his passes for 3,127 yards, 36 touchdowns and six interceptions across 15 games. Moreover, he set the single-season rushing mark for quarterbacks with 1,206 yards to go with seven TDs on the ground. Jackson's absence thus will yield a spot start for Robert Griffin.

Paxton Lynch QB | PIT
Steelers' Paxton Lynch: Bumps into No. 2 role
Lynch will back up Devlin Hodges in Week 17's game against the Ravens, ESPN.com reports.
Hodges started this past Sunday's loss to the Jets but played poorly and was relieved by Mason Rudolph, who suffered a shoulder injury during the contest. Therefore, Hodges will get the nod again, but Lynch will be ready if the undrafted rookie struggles again. Lynch last played in two games for the Broncos in 2017, completing 67 percent of passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Out multiple weeks
Rudolph is slated to miss multiple weeks due to a left shoulder injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Not only will Rudolph miss the Steelers' regular-season finale at Baltimore, which Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier Monday, but the second-year signal-caller isn't expected to be available for wild-card weekend in the event the team achieves a playoff berth. With Rudolph out of commission, Pittsburgh will roll with undrafted rookie Devlin Hodges under center this Sunday while Paxton Lynch handles backup duty.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Expected to miss Week 17 game
Rudolph (left shoulder) is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
With Rudolph -- who replaced Devlin Hodges in Week 16's 16-10 loss to the Jets before hurting his shoulder -- not in line to play this coming weekend, Hodges is slated to continue to serve as the Steelers' starting QB, backed up by Paxton Lynch.

Will Grier QB | CAR
Panthers' Will Grier: Keeping starting job for finale
Interim coach Perry Fewell said Monday that Grier will retain the Panthers' starting quarterback job for the Week 17 matchup with the Saints, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Carolina will give the rookie third-round pick a chance to conclude the campaign on a high note after he struggled mightily in his NFL debut Week 16, despite having a favorable matchup against the vulnerable Colts pass defense. Though Grier wasn't helped by missing top wideout D.J. Moore (concussion) for much of the contest, the signal-caller still disappointed, completing 27 of 44 attempts for 224 yards (5.1 YPA), zero touchdowns and three interceptions while taking five sacks. Grier likely will need a more respectable showing against the Saints to give the Panthers more optimism heading into 2020 that he's even a viable backup option over the long haul.

Kyler Murray QB | MIN
Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Slated for MRI
Coach Kliff Kingsbury confirmed Monday that Murray will undergo an MRI to gain more information about the hamstring injury he sustained in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Seahawks, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Before departing in the third quarter, Murray had been enjoying a productive day in the Cardinals' eventual upset victory, finishing with 11 completions on 18 attempts for 118 yards and a touchdown while adding 40 yards on six carries. The 5-9-1 Cardinals don't have much at stake in their Week 17 matchup with the Rams, though Kingsbury noted that Murray will start if healthy enough to do so, as Arizona believes the extra reps against a divisional opponent will prove beneficial for the quarterback's long-term development. The Cardinals should have a better idea on Murray's status for the regular-season finale after the results of the MRI are read, but Brett Hundley would step in under center if the 22-year-old isn't available against Los Angeles.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Browns' Baker Mayfield: Not enough for Ravens
Mayfield completed 20 of 33 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns with an interception in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Ravens.
There are times this season when Mayfield has been the root cause of a Cleveland loss, but this wan't one of them. The Ravens bottled up running back Nick Chubb, so Mayfield and the Browns didn't have all their weapons firing. Despite that, he had the team in position for an upset as halftime approached, but curious decision-making on the part of head coach Freddie Kitchens put those thoughts to rest. The second half turned into a microcosm of the team's year-long travails: poor decisions, undisciplined behavior and players sniping at Kitchens.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Scores three times in win
Mahomes completed 23 of 33 pass attempts for 251 yards and two touchdowns, also rushing twice for 14 yards and another score in Sunday's 26-3 win over Chicago.
Mahomes turned in a strong fantasy line in large part to his three combined touchdowns as opposed to the usual large volume of passing yards. This was a result of a clear short-pass gameplan to neutralize Chicago's ferocious pass-rush defense. Mahomes did most of his damage on short and intermediate passes, only attempting one pass of more than 20 air yards over the entire contest (and it was not completed). It was the first time the star quarterback did not complete a pass over 20 yards in his young, spectacular career. Mahomes should be suiting up for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers with the ability to earn a first-round bye still up for grabs.
