Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Throwing Tuesday
Jackson (quadriceps) threw during the portion of Thursday's practice open to the media, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Coach John Harbaugh told Zrebiec on Monday that the Ravens intend to take a "wait-and-see" approach with Jackson, who hurt his quad on a low hit during a Week 14 win at Buffalo. With some activity evident Tuesday, Jackson appears poised to match his 'limited' listing from Monday, at the very least. His level of participation will become clearer upon the release of Tuesday's injury report.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Status remains uncertain
Coach Pat Shurmur is unsure whether Jones (ankle) or Eli Manning will be under center Sunday against the Dolphins, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. "If Daniel can't go, Eli will start," Shurmur said Tuesday.
Jones yielded the top spot to Manning on Monday at Philadelphia due what Shurmur initially termed a "moderate" high-ankle sprain. Manning proceeded to flash but ultimately was unable to pull out a win, completing 15 of 30 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns. As part of his decision-making process, Shurmur will wait and see how Jones moves about this week, perhaps intimating that an appearance at practice is possible. According to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, Shurmur denied a report that Jones will miss 2-to-4 weeks, leaving this QB situation up in the air.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Ravens monitoring quad injury
Jackson hurt his quadriceps on a low hit Sunday at Buffalo, and the Ravens will take a "wait-and-see" approach with the injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
The Ravens have a quick turnaround with a game Thursday against the Jets, so the team merely held a walk-through Monday. Jackson himself took the field late during the portion of the session open to the media, which was enough for him to be listed as limited on the practice estimate, per Clifton Brown of the team's official site. The quarterback will have two more chances this week to elevate to full participation, but ultimately his listing on Wednesday's injury report will be telling for his Week 15 availability.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Pops up on injury report
Jackson (quad) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimation, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Hensley notes that Jackson "walked with a slight hitch when he entered the indoor field house" Monday, so Jackson's status is worth tracking in advance of Thursday night's game against the Jets. So far, however, there has been nothing to suggest that the QB's status for the contest is in any peril.

Jameis Winston QB | NYG
Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Likely to play through broken thumb
Winston is expected to play through a broken thumb on his throwing hand in Sunday's game at Detroit, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Winston left this past Sunday's win over the Colts to get evaluated, but he ended up returning and finishing the contest with a season-high 456 passing yards in addition to four touchdowns, three interceptions and a rushing score. Stroud adds that Winston likely will be limited in practice during the upcoming week after meeting with a hand specialist Monday. Ryan Griffin is on standby in case Winston's unable to play against the Lions.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Hand injury not serious
Coach Andy Reid relayed Monday that Mahomes' hand is okay, noting that "it's bruised up pretty good but there's no break," BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Reid added that the Chiefs' play calling (including more run plays and shallow crossing routes) in the second half of Sunday's win over the Patriots was altered due to Mahomes' hand issue. On the plus side, both Nate Taylor of The Athletic and Adam Teicher of ESPN.com indicate that Mahomes is on track to play Week 15 versus the Broncos.

Kyle Allen QB | BUF
Panthers' Kyle Allen: Keeping starting job in Week 15
Interim coach Perry Fewell said Monday that Allen will remain the Panthers' starting quarterback for the team's Week 15 matchup with the Seahawks, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Though the injured Cam Newton (foot) no longer poses a threat to replace Allen, the sophomore signal-caller's continued turnover problems have put him at risk of losing the starting gig to rookie third-round pick Will Grier. While Fewell will give Allen a chance to turn things around at home versus the Seahawks, Fewell noted that the top quarterback job will be a "week-to-week" evaluation. Since opening his run as starter with seven touchdown passes against zero interceptions in his first four outings, Allen has completed 60.7 percent of his passes for 6.5 yards per attempt while turning in a 9:12 TD:INT and fumbling six times (losing three) in his subsequent seven starts.

Jameis Winston QB | NYG
Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Meeting with hand specialist
Winston will meet with a hand specialist this week to receive a second opinion on his fractured right thumb, which he sustained in Sunday's 38-35 win over the Colts, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Winston only missed six snaps due to the injury before returning in the second half and finishing off the come-from-behind victory. He ended the game with 33 completions on 45 attempts for a season-high 456 passing yards to go with four touchdowns, three interceptions and another score on the ground. Though coach Bruce Arians clarified that Winston's fracture wasn't a significant one, the signal-caller will be sent in for another evaluation just to ensure the injury won't provide any complications with his ability to grip the football. Ryan Griffin is the next man up at quarterback and would step in under center Week 15 in Detroit if Winston is forced to miss time.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Likely to miss time beyond Monday
Jones' high-ankle sprain is expected to keep him sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network report.
The injury Jones suffered in the Week 13 loss to the Packers recently confined him to a walking boot and prevented him from practicing Thursday through Saturday, prompting the Giants to rule him out in advance of Monday's game in Philadelphia. Based on the latest report, Jones looks bound to miss at least another game beyond Monday, with no assurances of a return before the end of the season. Eli Manning will get the start Monday and should remain under center for the duration of Jones' absence.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Getting tests done on hand
Mahomes will undergo testing Monday after he injured his right hand in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Patriots, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Chiefs are optimistic Mahomes will be ready for Week 15 against Denver, with initial X-rays taken Sunday evening believed to have come back negative. He played the entirety of Sunday's game, completing 26 of 40 passes for 283 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. The Chiefs have a lot to play for even after clinching the AFC West, as they're just one game behind New England for the No. 2 seed (and now own the tiebreaker).
