Case Keenum QB | CHI
Rams' Case Keenum: Fails to throw a TD in loss to the Bills
Keenum completed 21 of 31 passes for 271 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 30-19 loss to the Bills.
One of Keenum's interceptions was returned for a touchdown, breaking a 16-16 tie in the third quarter. Before Keenum's clunker Sunday, he had played reasonably well in the previous three games, leading the Rams to three straight wins. If the former University of Houston product has a couple of more games like this, there's a good chance we'll see rookie Jared Goff. Keenum does have a very favorable matchup next week at Detroit, which hasn't stopped opposing passing games this year.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Bengals' Andy Dalton: Tosses two touchdowns in loss at Dallas
Dalton completed 29 of 41 passes for 269 yards with a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 28-14 loss at Dallas. He also had six rushes for 34 yards.
The Bengals were shut out for three quarters, so Dalton didn't play as well as his final stat line suggests. He threw multiple touchdowns in a contest for the first time this season, although his yardage has been strong all year, averaging just over 300 yards per game. The Cowboys did a great job containing A.J. Green, who was held to 50 yards on four receptions, but Dalton did manage to get Brandon LaFell involved, hooking up with him eight times for 68 yards and two touchdowns. The veteran QB will need to step up big next week for a road game against the Patriots.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Efficient in win over the Bengals
Prescott completed 18 of 24 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Bengals. He also scored on a short touchdown run.
Although Prescott has just four touchdown passes on the season, he still hasn't tossed an interception and has completed nearly 70 percent of his throws. He lost a fumble Sunday, but that was his first turnover of the season. Tony Romo (back) is expected back in a few weeks, so the Cowboys are going to have a tough decision to make, as Prescott has played as efficiently as almost any QB in the league. In any case, Prescott will take aim at the Packers' secondary in Week 6.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Struggles for second consecutive week
Tannehill completed just 12 of 18 passes for 191 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's loss to the Titans.
That's two straight forgettable performances for the Dolphins quarterback, who has thrown for just 380 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions over the past two weeks combined. Despite the 2012 first-rounder's poor recent play, head coach Adam Gase made it clear that Tannehill will be Miami's starter for the remainder of the season. If he can't exploit Pittsburgh's porous secondary next week, it's going to be very tough to trust Tannehill moving forward.
-
Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Vikings' Sam Bradford: Stays turnover-free for undefeated Vikings
Bradford completed 22 of 30 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Texans.
Bradford opened the scoring with a 36-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Adam Thielen on the game's first drive, and was once again excellent when called upon in a 31-13 blowout victory. The trade acquisition from Philadelphia still hasn't turned the ball over while throwing six touchdown passes in four games for the undefeated Vikings. He has clearly picked up the playbook very well, but will have time to iron out any kinks over Minnesota's bye next week.
-
Charlie Whitehurst QB | CLE
Browns' Charlie Whitehurst: Throws touchdown in season debut
Whitehurst completed 14 of 24 passes for 182 yards with a touchdown and an interception against the Patriots on Sunday.
Whitehurst was called upon when Cody Kessler (chest) went down and was able hold his own against a tough New England defense. He was picked off once but lofted a perfect 17-yard touchdown pass to Connor Hamlett in the fourth quarter. It remains to be seen how serious Kessler's injury is, but should he have to sit in Week 6, Whitehurst will be under center once again versus the Titans.
-
Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Bears' Brian Hoyer: Passes for 397 yards and two scores in Sunday loss
Hoyer completed 33 of 43 passes for 397 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Colts.
With the Bears trailing throughout the majority of the second half, the team had to go into pass-heavy mode, which allowed Hoyer to have an excellent fantasy day. Since Alshon Jeffery saw quite a bit of defensive attention, Hoyer locked in 12 times on Cameron Meredith, resulting in 130 yards and one of his two touchdown passes. He also benefited from the fact that the Colts had very little in the way of an effective pass rush, providing him with plenty of time to complete passes at will. It's difficult to imagine that Jay Cutler (thumb) will be taking back the starting quarterback duties anytime soon, so Hoyer should continue to function as a borderline starting option in leagues that start a single quarterback.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Lions' Matthew Stafford: Overwhelms tough Eagles defense
Stafford completed 19 of 25 passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 16 yards on six rushing attempts, in the Lions' 24-23 victory over the Eagles in Week 5.
Stafford's 180 passing yards represented his lowest total since Week 15 of 2014, but his overall performance had to have provided Lions fans with some peace of mind, given the team's recent three-game skid. While he didn't single in on any one receiver in particular, Stafford efficiently maneuvered his offense around a stingy Eagles defense and ultimately came out of the contest turnover-free. Next up is a Week 6 tilt against the Rams in the comfort of Ford Field.

Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
Patriots' Jimmy Garoppolo: Set to back Brady up Sunday
Garoppolo (right shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Browns.
With Jacoby Brissett now on IR, Garoppolo is locked in as Tom Brady's top backup, but he's not going to start again this season unless Brady suffers an injury, or in the event that a late-season scenario emerges in which starters are rested.
