Desmond Ridder QB | GB
Falcons' Desmond Ridder: Career-high yardage tally in loss
Ridder completed 26 of 40 passes for 347 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Falcons' 29-25 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also rushed four times for 15 yards and another score, committed two fumbles and lost one, and threw a two-point conversion pass.
Ridder had about as eventful a day as his final line implies, compiling a career-high yardage tally while also accounting for multiple touchdowns for the fourth time this season. Ridder and Drake London were the most lethal quarterback-receiver duo on the field by far Sunday, with the second-year wideout accounting for 10 of Ridder's completions and 172 of his yards. Ridder also connected with London for his late two-point conversion pass, and he came about four yards short of successfully orchestrating a game-winning Hail Mary with London as time expired. Ridder had failed to eclipse 168 passing yards in either of his first two starts since his demotion, but Sunday's breakout affords him plenty of momentum going into a Week 15 road battle against the Panthers.

Jake Browning QB | TB
Bengals' Jake Browning: Another stellar performance Sunday
Browning completed 18 of 24 passes for 275 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and added three rushes for seven yards and another score in the Bengals' 34-14 win over the Colts on Sunday.
Browning went a long way toward proving his breakout Monday night Week 13 performance against the Jaguars was no fluke, displaying outstanding efficiency while averaging an impressive 11.5 yards per attempt. Rookie running back Chase Brown lent Browning a big early hand by taking a short pass 54 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, and the fourth-year signal-caller connected with Tanner Hudson for an 11-yard scoring strike in the third quarter, a play Browning followed up with a one-yard touchdown run later in the period. Browning did exit the game early in the fourth quarter with muscle cramping for what amounted to five scrimmage plays, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, but he was able to return to finish the game without issue. With two stellar performances now under his belt, Browning next sets his sights on the Vikings in a Week 15 home matchup.

Davis Mills QB | HOU
Texans' Davis Mills: Could start with Stroud in protocol
Mills completed one of five passes for four yards after replacing C.J. Stroud (concussion) in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Jets.
Coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed after the game that Stroud has entered the NFL's concussion protocol, so Mills would get an opportunity to make his first start of 2023 in Week 15 against the Titans if Stroud fails to gain clearance. Mills made 26 starts over the previous two seasons and has a career 33:25 TD:INT. Wide receiver Nico Collins (calf) also exited the loss to the Jets after the Texans lost Tank Dell (lower leg) for the season in the previous game.

C.J. Stroud QB | HOU
Texans' C.J. Stroud: Concussion confirmed
Coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed following Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Jets that Stroud is in the NFL's concussion protocol, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Per the report, Stroud will be evaluated as the coming week progresses, but at this stage his status for next Sunday's game against the Titans is uncertain. If Stroud is unavailable for Week 15 action, Davis Mills would be in line to draw the start at QB versus Tennessee.

Zach Wilson QB | NO
Jets' Zach Wilson: Wins battle of second overall picks
Wilson completed 27 of 36 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Texans. He added three rushing attempts for 12 yards and lost a fumble.
Making his first start since Week 11, Wilson posted his first 300-yard performance of the season and third of his career. Neither team scored until Wilson connected with Randall Cobb for a 15-yard touchdown on the first possession of the third quarter. That drive started a stretch of three touchdowns in four drives for the Jets. Wilson lost a fumble on the lone non-scoring possession over that span but bounced back with a three-yard touchdown pass to Breece Hall. Unless Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) is declared ready to play in Week 15 against the Dolphins, Wilson has earned himself another start after leading the offense to 30 second-half points to snap the Jets' five-game losing streak.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Leads game-winning drive Sunday
Mayfield completed 14 of 29 passes for 144 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and added three rushing yards and another score on three carries in the Buccaneers' 29-25 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
The veteran signal-caller salvaged an otherwise particularly quiet day with his trio of touchdowns, with the final one, an 11-yard connection with Cade Otton with 31 seconds remaining, proving to be the difference in the contest. Mayfield had a rare day of missed connections with top target Mike Evans, with the star receiver converting only one of his six targets into catches. Nevertheless, Mayfield worked around the struggles with a 31-yard touchdown pass to Rachaad White and a one-yard scoring run on the first play of the second quarter. Mayfield now has multiple touchdown passes in five of the last seven games heading into a Week 15 road battle versus the Packers.

C.J. Stroud QB | HOU
Texans' C.J. Stroud: Evaluated for concussion
Stroud, who left Sunday's game against the Jets, is being evaluated for a possible concussion.
Prior to his fourth-quarter exit from the contest, Stroud had completed 10 of 23 passes for 91 yards. With the Jets up 27-6, Stroud is presumably done for the day. In his absence, Davis Mills is in at QB for the Texans.

Drew Lock QB | SEA
Seahawks' Drew Lock: Getting spot start for Smith
Lock will start at quarterback for the Seahawks on Sunday at San Francisco with Geno Smith (groin) inactive, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Smith showed up on Seattle's Week 14 injury report Thursday with a groin concern, which limited him that day and kept him out of drills entirely one day later. Coach Pete Carroll termed Smith a game-time decision Friday, but the quarterback ultimately wasn't able to make it through a pregame warmup and make himself available for Sunday's game. Lock thus will earn his first start since Jan. 8, 2022 as a member of the Broncos. In 26 appearances (21 starts) in his five-year career, he's completed 58.9 percent of his passes, averaged 184.8 yards per game and posted a 25:21 TD:INT.

Geno Smith QB | NYJ
Seahawks' Geno Smith: Sitting out in Week 14
Smith (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game in San Francisco.
The Seahawks added Smith to the Week 14 injury report Thursday as limited due to a groin issue, which kept him out of practice entirely Friday. Coach Pete Carroll subsequently termed Smith a game-time decision for Sunday, and after a pregame warmup, the quarterback has been deemed unable to play. With Smith sidelined for the first time this season, Seattle will turn to Drew Lock under center. Smith's next chance for active status is Monday, Dec. 18 against the Eagles.
