Moss rushed eight times for 19 yards and brought in six of seven targets for 39 yards in the Bills' 26-11 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Moss found surprisingly sparse running room against a Dolphins defense that had been generous on the ground, but he helped make it up to all those holding him in PPR formats with a busy day through the air. His reception total checked in behind only that of Cole Beasley's 10 on the afternoon for the Bills and qualified as a season high as well. Moss will have a chance to get back on track on the ground in a Week 9 road matchup versus the Jaguars.

Gainwell rushed 13 times for 27 yards in Sunday's 44-6 win over the Lions.

Gainwell looked like a prime candidate to lead the rushing attack with Miles Sanders (ankle) on IR, and the box score would appear to confirm that idea. The rookie had one more carry than Boston Scott and Jordan Howard each did. However, all but one of Gainwell's touches came in the fourth quarter with the Eagles up 38-0, and he wasn't nearly as effective with the rock as the other backs. While the Eagles have a nice matchup against a struggling Chargers run defense in Week 9, Gainwell seems to be third on the depth chart at the moment.

Carter rushed 15 times for 77 yards and a touchdown while adding nine catches for 95 yards on 14 targets in Sunday's 34-31 triumph over the Bengals.

Carter was the featured option in the Jets' offense with starting quarterback Zach Wilson (knee) and top wide receiver Corey Davis (hip) both sidelined, as the rookie running back led the team in both rushing and receiving yards. He capped New York's opening drive with an eight-yard touchdown run, and Carter consistently made plays as both a rusher and a pass-catcher for a Jets offense that came alive in Mike White's first NFL start at quarterback. Carter will be an intriguing fantasy option with White under center for Thursday's Week 9 clash against the Colts.

Mixon rushed 14 times for 33 yards and a touchdown while catching four of five targets for 58 yards and another touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Jets.

Mixon couldn't find much running room but was effective as a pass-catcher and salvaged his day on the ground with a one-yard rushing score early in the second quarter. His fifth rushing touchdown of the season was a long time coming, as it came on Mixon's fourth touch from inside New York's two-yard line. He added his second receiving score of the year from eight yards out in the third quarter, but the Jets took over late to pull off a Halloween treat for the fans at MetLife Stadium. After out-touching Samaje Perine 18-2, Mixon should work as the Bengals' feature back against the Browns in Week 9.

Johnson carried the ball four times for 22 yards and a touchdown and caught one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Steelers.

While Nick Chubb dominated the backfield touches in his return to action, Johnson was the only Brown to get into the end zone on a 10-yard dash in the third quarter. Kareem Hunt (calf) isn't expected to be back any time soon, so Johnson should continue to have a role for Cleveland in Week 9 against the Bengals.

Chubb carried the ball 16 times for 61 yards and caught his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Steelers.

Returning to action after a two-game absence, Chubb saw most of the touches out of the Cleveland backfield but couldn't find much running room, and he saw D'Ernest Johnson vulture a touchdown in the third quarter. The 61 rushing yards were a season low for Chubb, who will look to rebound in Week 9 against the Bengals.

Scott rushed 12 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 44-6 win over the Lions. He was unable to haul in his only target.

Scott got the start and handled the first quarter for Philadelphia, capping their second drive off with a one-yard touchdown. Jordan Howard worked in once the second quarter started and scored a touchdown of his own. The two would end up splitting carries evenly and having almost identical days, scoring two touchdowns apiece. Kenneth Gainwell actually had one more carry than either of them did, but virtually all of his work came in garbage time, and the rookie wasn't nearly as effective. It looks like Scott and Howard are likely to split lead-back duties going forward, and they have another enticing matchup on tap Week 9 against a Chargers defense that coming into the week was allowing 5.4 YPC, the most in the NFL.

Henry rushed rushed 28 times for just 68 yards and did not receive a target in Sunday's 34-31 overtime win over the Colts.

Henry couldn't get anything rolling against the Colts, which helps explain how Tennessee fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter. The bruising back did appear to get some medical attention on his right foot towards the end of the second half, but he promptly returned to the field and there were no reports of an injury after the game, so his managers appeared to have dodged a dangerous bullet. Henry will look to get back on track in a showdown against the Rams next Sunday.

Taylor rushed 16 times for 70 yards and a touchdown and secured three of four targets for 52 yards in the Colts' 34-31 overtime loss to the Titans on Sunday. He also fell on a Carson Wentz fumble.

Taylor once again saw his carries capped firmly under 20, but he was efficient with his opportunities and topped off his overall production with a game-tying one-yard touchdown run with 22 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime. His receiving yardage tally was his second highest of the season, and he's now encouragingly supplemented his strong production on the ground with a quartet of three-catch totals in the last four games. Taylor will next look to exploit a vulnerable Jets defense in a Week 9 Thursday night home date.

Harris had 26 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown while catching all three of his targets for 29 yards during Sunday's 15-10 win at Cleveland.

The rookie first-round pick continues to be a workhorse back for Pittsburgh, and he has at least 21 touches in each of the past five games. Harris has 622 yards from scrimmage and four scores during that span, and he should continue to power the Steelers' offense Week 9 against the Bears.
