  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Gains 107 yards in three quarters

Jacobs rushed 13 times for 69 yards and a touchdown while recording four receptions on as many targets for 38 yards in Monday's 34-0 win over New Orleans.

Jacobs was able to carve out a strong fantasy line for managers in just a shade over two quarters of action in Monday's romp. His lack of carries over the final 25 minutes of the game isn't believed to be the result of an injury; instead, head coach Matt LaFleur likely just wanted to give the workhorse back a breather while the Packers had the victory well in hand. Fantasy managers can expect a well-rested Jacobs in Week 17, when the Packers visit the Vikings on Sunday.

  • Ke'Shawn Vaughn: Reverts to practice squad

Vaughn reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Vaughn was elevated to the active roster for Week 16 and ended up being the 49ers' No. 2 running back behind Patrick Taylor due to the absences of Isaac Guerendo (hamstring) and Israel Abanikanda (coach's decision). However, Vaughn was limited to eight special-teams snaps and did not show up on the box score otherwise. His chances of being elevated for Week 17 against the Lions would significantly decrease if Guerendo is cleared to play.

  • Andrew Beck RB | NYJ

Andrew Beck: Back to practice squad

Beck reverted to the Texans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Beck signed with the Texans' practice squad Nov. 28 after being cut from the Packers' practice squad Oct. 22. He played 12 snaps on offense during Saturday's 27-19 loss to the Chiefs and failed to haul in his lone target. The Texans could elevate Beck for Wednesday's clash against the Ravens.

  • Jermar Jefferson: Reverts to practice squad

Jefferson reverted to the Lions' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Jefferson was elevated to the active roster for the first time this season due to the absence of David Montgomery (knee). Jefferson served as the Lions' No. 4 running back behind Jahmyr Gibbs, Craig Reynolds and Sione Vaki, and Jefferson ended up logging three carries for 13 yards while hauling in his lone target for an additional 10 yards during garbage time in Detroit's 34-17 win over Chicago. Jefferson could be elevated for the Lions' Week 17 clash against the 49ers on Monday night.

  • Mike Boone RB | MIA

Mike Boone: Reverts to practice squad

Boone reverted to Carolina's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Boone served as the No. 3 running back behind Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear during the Panthers' 36-30 overtime win over the Cardinals due to Velus Jones (coach's decision) being a healthy inactive. Boone ended up playing 11 snaps (four on offense, seven on special teams) and turned his lone carry into one yard. Boone is eligible to be elevated to Carolina's active roster one more time during the regular season.

  • Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Minor role in loss to Commanders

Gainwell rushed four times for seven yards and caught one pass for six yards in Sunday's 36-33 loss to the Commanders.

The Eagles leaned on their ground game after Jalen Hurts exited early with a concussion, but that didn't mean more action for Gainwell. Saquon Barkley carried the ball a season-high 29 times, but Gainwell played just 13 offensive snaps, lower than his season average of 16.

  • Michael Carter RB | ARI

Cardinals' Michael Carter: Moves back to practice squad

Carter reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday.

Carter made his season debut in Sunday's 36-30 overtime loss to Carolina and ended the contest as Arizona's lead runner after James Conner suffered a knee injury. Overall, Carter played 25 of 70 offensive snaps in the game, recording five carries for 18 yards and a team-high five catches (on five targets) for 30 yards. DeeJay Dallas also got in the act with a one-yard touchdown reception on 16 plays. The Cardinals haven't been a definitive update on Conner's health, but with Emari Demercado (back) on injured reserve and Trey Benson (ankle) having sat out the Week 16 game, Carter could be a regular out of the Cardinals backfield this coming Sunday versus the Rams.

  • Travis Homer RB | CHI

Bears' Travis Homer: Estimated as DNP on Monday

Homer (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report.

Homer was inactive for Sunday's loss to the Lions and doesn't appear to be making much progress ahead of Thursday night's game against the Seahawks. Homer doesn't factor into the Bears' offense much and has mostly played special teams in 2024.

  • 49ers' Isaac Guerendo: Likely to practice Thursday

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that the 49ers expect Guerendo (foot/hamstring) to practice Thursday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Guerendo picked up foot and hamstring injuries in Week 15 that ultimately kept him off the practice field last week and out for Sunday's loss at Miami. In Guerendo's place, Patrick Taylor got the start at running back and played 51 of 64 offensive snaps, but he mustered just 25 yards from scrimmage on nine touches. Meanwhile, Deebo Samuel moonlighted with five carries for 25 yards, and fullback Kyle Juszczyk also had two touches for 26 total yards. Guerendo's return to the practice field Thursday will be an encouraging sign for the 49ers backfield.

  • Justice Hill RB | BAL

Ravens' Justice Hill: Doesn't practice Monday

    Hill (concussion) didn't practice Monday.

Hill sustained a concussion Saturday against the the Steelers when his head hit the ground hard as he was tackled at the end of a 25-yard run. With no activity to speak of since then, he seems to be trending toward his first absence of the season Wednesday at Houston. Tuesday's injury report may provide clarity on that front, but rookie fifth-round pick Rasheen Ali and Keaton Mitchell are lined up for complementary reps behind starter Derrick Henry if Hill isn't able to suit up Week 17.
