  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Still not practicing

Walker (oblique) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Walker has yet to log any practice reps since injuring his oblique during the Seahawks' Week 1 win against the Broncos, but he was seen running on a side field Wednesday, per Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune. The development followed head coach Mike Macdonald telling Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times prior to the session, "We'll see," regarding the running back taking part in practice this week. Walker has two more chances to do so before Seattle may make a ruling on his availability for Sunday's game versus the Dolphins. Zach Charbonnet had 19 touches for 69 yards from scrimmage and a rushing score in place of Walker during a Week 2 victory at New England and would be called on again in the event of another absence from the latter.

  • Tyler Allgeier RB | ARI

Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Tending to hip issue

Allgeier was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hip injury, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

After a quiet three carries Week 1, Allgeier was a bit more involved behind starting running back Bijan Robinson in Monday's win at Philadelphia, turning 10 touches into 65 yards from scrimmage. Robinson so far is averaging 20.5 touches per game through two contests, but the Falcons may still have some room for Allgeier to make an impact out of the backfield. Still, Allgeier is working through a health concern this week, making his status worthwhile to watch to get a sense of his availability ahead of a matchup with the Chiefs on Sunday.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Limited by hip issue

Jones was a limited practice at practice Wednesday due to a hip injury.

Jones' snap shares (55 percent in Week 1, 61 percent in Week 2) have been well ahead of backup Ty Chandler's (35 percent both times) this season. Having said that, Jones has 30 touches for 177 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown so far, while Chandler has turned 21 touches into 124 yards. Jones' injury history must be accounted for when it comes to the Vikings backfield, but he at least was able to mix into some drills Wednesday. As such, the team may be exercising caution with the eighth-year pro to ensure he's good to go Sunday against the Texans.

  • Rachaad White RB | WAS

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Limited at practice Wednesday

White (groin) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

White made a brief exit from this past Sunday's win at Detroit due to the groin injury, but he still handled a majority share of snaps (34 of 48) and touches (11) out of the Buccaneers backfield over backup Bucky Irving (17 and seven, respectively). On Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported that White's health concern wasn't considered to be major, and his ensuing activity level Wednesday indicates the Buccaneers are taking a cautious approach with their starting running back. White has two more chances to get back to full activity this week before the team potentially gives him a designation for Sunday's game versus the Broncos.

  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Sits out practice Wednesday

Spears (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

At first glance, Spears' lack of participation in practice to begin the week might be concerning, but the running back said that he plans to play Sunday against the Packers, according to John Glennon of NashvillePost.com. Prior to Wednesday's session, head coach Brian Callahan said that he wants to get more touches for Spears, who exited this past Sunday's loss to the Jets with an ankle injury that is not thought to be serious.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Still dealing with back issue

Jacobs was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a back injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Jacobs continues to tend to the same health concern that capped his on-field reps all of last week, but the injury didn't stop him from pacing a run-heavy game plan in a win over the Colts this past Sunday, when he tallied 32 carries for 151 yards. With MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) joining AJ Dillon (neck) on injured reserve this week, Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks are the healthy running backs on Green Bay's active roster. In the end, though, Jacobs will remain the team's bell-cow back as long as he's able to suit up on game days.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Vikings' Myles Gaskin: Signed off practice squad

The Vikings signed Gaskin to the 53-man roster from the practice squad Wednesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.

Gaskin had been elevated from the practice squad for Minnesota's first two regular-season games, and the placement of tight end Nick Muse (hand) on IR now opens a spot for him on the active roster. He'll continue handling a depth role behind Aaron Jones and Ty Chandler, while also contributing in the return game Sunday versus the Texans.

  • Isiah Pacheco RB | DET

Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: No complications with surgery

Pacheco (fibula) had successful surgery Wednesday and is still expected to return in 6-to-8 weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Pacheco's surgery involved no complications or ligament damage, which means he has a good chance to play again this season. He won't be a realistic candidate to be activated until at least November, or perhaps even December, but Pacheco is still worth holding in most fantasy leagues, given his potential to put up big numbers down the stretch. In the meantime, Carson Steele and Samaje Perine are Kansas City's top candidates for backfield snaps, with Keaontay Ingram also joining the active roster and Kareem Hunt having been recently signed to the practice squad.

  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Not seen at practice

Spears (ankle) wasn't spotted on the field during the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Head coach Brian Callahan said earlier this week that Spears was "day-to-day" with an ankle issue that's not believed to be serious, but the running back's absence from the early portion of Wednesday's session makes his status worth monitoring. If Spears is limited or out Sunday against the Packers, Tony Pollard would be in line for a larger portion of the backfield snaps and touches.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

    Packers' Josh Jacobs: Limited Wednesday

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Jacobs was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

It's unclear if Jacobs is dealing with the back injury that limited in practice all of last week, but it's not surprising that he's dealing with some wear and tear in the wake of handling 32 carries for 151 yards in the past Sunday's win against the Colts. Jacobs' health concern will be revealed once the Packers post their first Week 3 injury report later Wednesday.
