  • Ty Johnson RB | BUF

Bills' Ty Johnson: Getting X-rays after Week 15 win

Johnson (shoulder) went to the X-ray room after Sunday's 31-10 win over the Cowboys, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Johnson was deemed questionable to return due to a shoulder injury in the second quarter but later checked back into the game. He finished with nine carries for 54 yards, as well as a four-yard catch on his only target. James Cook produced 221 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns, so Cook should continue to lead Buffalo's backfield in Week 16 against the Chargers regardless of what the X-rays on Johnson's shoulder show.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Held in check Sunday

Ford carried the ball eight times for 20 yards and caught four of five targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Bears.

The second-year RB posted his lowest scrimmage yards total of the season after dealing with a wrist issue in practice during the week, but it was still enough to lead the Cleveland backfield as Kareem Hunt managed just 20 yards on eight touches. Ford remains the top fantasy option of the duo, particularly as a result of taking over primary receiving-back duties -- he's caught at least three passes in four straight games, posting a 16-89-1 line on 21 targets over that stretch in addition to his 155 rushing yards. Ford will look to rebound in Week 16 against the Texans.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Disappears from game plan

Pierce rushed the ball once for three yards in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Titans.

Pierce appeared to be the Texans' lead back in Week 13 when he tallied 15 carries, four of which came in the red zone. His role has declined substantially in two games since, bottoming out in Sunday's win. The once-lead back was on the field for four snaps Sunday and eight snaps the previous week. Devin Singletary is set to lead the Houston backfield for the rest of the season.

  • Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR

Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Over 100 total yards in win

Hubbard rushed 22 times for 87 yards and secured both targets for 16 yards in the Panthers' 9-7 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Hubbard outpaced Miles Sanders by 16 carries in the victory and parlayed the opportunity into his second straight 87-yard tally on the ground. The second-year back also recorded multiple catches for the seventh time in the last eight games, and he's now logged over 20 rush attempts in three straight contests. Hubbard heads into a Week 16 home matchup against the Packers' porous run defense with the lead job firmly in hand.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Bears' Khalil Herbert: Poor showing in Cleveland

Herbert carried the ball six times for eight yards and caught his only target for four yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Browns.

The Bears' backfield committee didn't provide much fantasy value in this one, as rookie Roschon Johnson was the only one of the three RBs to deliver any kind of useful numbers with 60 scrimmage yards on nine touches, while D'Onta Foreman's longest carry went for just two yards and he wound up with minus-six rushing yards on his six totes. Herbert should remain in the mix, but with Chicago looking ahead to 2024, Johnson could emerge as the top option of the trio for the final weeks of the current campaign.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Leads backfield in Week 15 loss

Johnson carried the ball five times for 36 yards and caught four of six targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Browns.

Despite the modest volume, the rookie RB led the Bears' backfield in touches and scrimmage yards, as Khalil Herbert managed just 12 combined yards while D'Onta Foreman lost six yards on his six totes. Johnson could be Chicago's choice to head the committee the rest of the way as the team looks ahead to 2024, but the situation figures to be tough to predict from a fantasy perspective heading into a Week 16 clash with the Cardinals.

  • Commanders' Jonathan Williams: Won't return vs. Los Angeles

Williams (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's contest against the Rams, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Williams got playing time Sunday for the first time this season with Brian Robinson ruled out ahead of Sunday's game with a hamstring injury. Williams finishes the game with one carry for minus-two yards and did not catch his lone target on 13 snaps.

  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Held to 37 total yards

Spears rushed the ball nine times for 30 yards in Sunday's 19-16 loss to Houston. He added one catch on one target for seven yards.

Spears saw his second-highest carry total of the season, though he lacked his typical explosiveness. He was limited to a long gain of only nine yards, and his 37 total yards from scrimmage was his lowest mark since Week 8. Spears should have the chance to bounce back in a Week 16 matchup against a susceptible Seattle rush defense.

  • Texans' Devin Singletary: Tallies 170 total yards

Singletary rushed the ball 26 times for 121 yards in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Titans. He added four receptions on five targets for 49 yards.

Singletary dominated work out of the Texans backfield, as Dameon Pierce saw only one total touch. Singletary took advantage of the absence of Jeffery Simmons (knee) along the typically stout Tennessee defensive line, ripping off three runs for double-digit yards. His biggest gain of the day came on a 41-yard reception in overtime, which set up the game-winning field goal. Singletary now has over 100 yards from scrimmage in three of his last six games -- two of which came with Pierce sidelined -- and he has established himself as the clear lead back in the Houston backfield heading into a Week 16 matchup against the Browns.

  • Ty Johnson RB | BUF

Bills' Ty Johnson: Returns to Sunday's contest

Johnson (shoulder) has been cleared to return to Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Johnson briefly left in the second quarter but is back in the game. He'll continue to serve as the RB3 behind James Cook and Latavius Murray while handling the kick return duties.
