  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

    Raiders' Darren Waller: Inactive Sunday

Waller (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints.

With Waller set to miss his second straight game, Foster Moreau is once again in line to handle added TE reps for the Raiders in Week 8, a context that resulted in him catching three of his five targets for 28 yards in last weekend's 38-20 win over the Texans. Waller will thus target a potential return to action in Week 9 versus the Jaguars.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Raiders' Darren Waller: Not expected to play Sunday

Waller (hamstring) is not in line to play Sunday against the Saints, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Official confirmation of the tight end's status will arrive once the Raiders' Week 8 inactives are posted ahead of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, but it looks like Waller is in line to be sidelined, which paves the way for Foster Moreau to see added snaps versus New Orleans.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Raiders' Darren Waller: Shaping up as game-time call

Waller (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in New Orleans, will test his injury in pregame warmups before the Raiders decide on his status, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Raiders are seemingly treating Waller as a game-time call leading up to the contest's 1 p.m. ET start time, with more clarity on the tight end's status likely to arrive when the team releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to kickoff. If Waller finds himself inactive or if he suits up Sunday but is available only in a limited capacity, Foster Moreau would be in line to play the majority of the snaps at tight end.

  • Broncos' Albert Okwuegbunam: Inactive for third straight game

Okwuegbunam (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Okwuegbunam will be a healthy scratch for the third game in a row, and he'll likely continue to find himself outside of Denver's offensive game plans for the foreseeable future with rookie third-round pick Greg Dulcich having taking over as the Broncos' top tight end. Because he offers limited utility as a blocker or on special teams, Okwuegbunam also finds himself behind Eric Tomlinson, Andrew Beck and Eric Saubert on the depth chart. The 24-year-old Okwuegbunam could surely benefit from a change of scenery, and he could be a candidate to get dealt ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline if the Broncos find a suitor in need of a tight end with some pass-catching upside.

  • Vikings' Jacob Hollister: Elevated to active roster again

Minnesota elevated Hollister from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Tyler Forness of USA Today reports.

Hollister was elevated to the active roster for Week 6 and played exclusively on special teams. The veteran tight end figures to garner a similar role Sunday.

  • Logan Thomas TE | SF

Commanders' Logan Thomas: On track to play Sunday

Thomas, who is listed as questionable due to a calf injury, is expected to play Sunday against the Colts, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Thomas has missed three straight games due to a calf injury, but after logging three consecutive limited practices during Week 8 prep, the tight end is in line to make his first appearance since Week 4. Before the injury, Thomas, caught 13 of 20 targets for 106 yards and one touchdown. While the tight end is expected to play, it's possible he winds up limited in his first game action in a month, so fantasy managers are still encouraged to confirm his availability ahead of Sunday's 4:25 PM ET kickoff.

  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Expected to play

Schultz, who is listed as questionable due to a knee injury, is expected to play Sunday against the Bears, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Schultz continues to battle lingering knee pain after spraining his PCL in Week 2, but he was able to catch all five of his targets for 49 yards against the Lions in Week 7, marking his best outing since the season opener. The tight end was limited at each practice during Week 8 prep, but barring any setbacks, he's in line to suit up for a second consecutive contest. Fantasy managers should still confirm Schultz's status ahead of Sunday's 1:00 PM ET kickoff before locking him into lineups.

  • Pharaoh Brown TE | ARI

Browns' Pharaoh Brown: Questionable for Monday

Brown (concussion/neck) is questionable for Monday's contest against the Bengals, Anthony Poisal of the Browns' official site reports.

Brown didn't practice Thursday or Friday due to a concussion, but he logged a limited session Saturday and still has a chance to suit up Monday. With David Njoku (ankle) already ruled out, Harrison Bryant is in line to be Cleveland's top tight end, but if Brown is also unavailable, Miller Forristall or Zaire Mitchell-Paden will likely be elevated from the practice squad.

  • Lawrence Cager TE | WAS

Giants' Lawrence Cager: Elevated to active roster

The Giants elevated Cager from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday for Sunday's matchup against the Seahawks, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Cager signed a practice-squad deal with the Giants in mid-October after being waived by the Jets. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound tight end started the season opener for the Jets but failed to haul in his only target and didn't see the field after Week 1. With Daniel Bellinger (eye) out, the Giants are expected to rotate tight ends frequently, but it remains unclear how big Cager's role will be during his first appearance with the Giants.

  • Sean McKeon TE | IND

Cowboys' Sean McKeon: Joining up with active roster

Dallas signed McKeon from its practice squad to the 53-man roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus Chicago, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

McKeon had already been brought up with his three allowed standard elevations, and with regular starting tight end Dalton Schultz (knee) still struggling with a PCL sprain, the Cowboys saw fit to promote McKeon for good. He has one reception for 10 yards on one target through three games in 2022.
