  • Evan Engram TE | DEN

Giants' Evan Engram: Makes three catches

Engram caught three passes for 37 yards on six targets against Philadelphia on Sunday.

The efficiency was less than sparkling, but there's perhaps encouragement to be found in the fact that Engram's six targets were the second-highest total for the Giants on Sunday, trailing only Kenny Golladay's seven. The Giants passing game might need to lean on Engram again when they head to Miami in Week 13, especially if slot receivers Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney miss that game with their respective quadriceps injuries. The question of whether Engram and Daniel Jones can capitalize is of course very different, and not one that engenders confidence.

  • Kyle Pitts TE | ATL

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Quiet in Jacksonville

Pitts caught two of six targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Jaguars.

A trip close to his old stomping grounds at the University of Florida didn't help the rookie tight end break out of his slump, as Pitts was limited to fewer than 30 yards for the second consecutive game after topping that mark in eight of his first nine. While Cordarrelle Patterson and the running game led Atlanta to victory in this one, the Falcons' passing attack continues to struggle, and Pitts' pedestrian play of late hasn't helped. The rookie third-overall pick will look to get back on track in Week 13 against a Tampa Bay defense that gave up a respectable 73 yards to Pitts back in Week 2.

  • Tommy Hudson TE | NO

Titans' Tommy Hudson: Injures ankle Sunday

Hudson is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Patriots with an ankle injury, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Hudson was just activated from IR prior to Week 11 after missing six games with an ankle issue, but there has been no word yet as to whether this is an aggravation of the same injury. Anthony Firkser should see more playing time as a result.

  • Dan Arnold TE | PHI

Jaguars' Dan Arnold: Injures knee Sunday

Arnold was forced out of Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a knee injury, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Prior to his exit from the contest, Arnold caught his only target for nine yards. In his absence, James O'Shaughnessy and Chris Manhertz are available to handle the Jaguars' Week 12 tight end duties.

  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Texans' Jordan Akins: Won't suit up Sunday

Akins (coach's decision) will not play Sunday against the Jets.

Akins will be passed over for a second straight week in favor of Pharaoh Brown, Antony Auclair, and rookie Brevin Jordan. The 2018 third-round selection will try to earn a chance to get back on the field for Week 13 against the Colts.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | GB

Patriots' Jonnu Smith: Set to face Titans

Smith (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Titans.

The same applies to fellow tight end Hunter Henry (neck). While operating in a timeshare with Henry, Smith has caught 22 of his 36 targets for 210 yards and a TD through 10 games. As long as Henry (33-378-7 in 11 games) is available, Smith will remain a hit-or-miss fantasy option on a weekly basis.

  • Hunter Henry TE | NE

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Active for Sunday's game

Henry (neck) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Titans.

As is fellow tight end Jonnu Smith (shoulder), which sets the stage for the duo to continue to work in a time-share. In the context of that arrangement, Henry has been more productive from a fantasy standpoint, having put together a 33-378-7 stat line in 11 games compared to Smith's 22-210-1 tally over the course of 10 contests.

  • Geoff Swaim TE | CLE

Titans' Geoff Swaim: Cleared for Week 12

Swaim (concussion) is listed as active Week 12 against New England.

Swaim returned as a full participant in practice Friday, setting the stage for him to gain clearance in Week 12. The tight end hasn't typically been a major part of the Tennessee game plan this season, though Swaim has hauled in exactly four receptions in each of the past three weeks with the receiving corps badly shorthanded. He could be in to see a few more targets than usual this week with A.J. Brown (chest), Julio Jones (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (hamstring) all on currently residing on injured reserve.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | GB

Patriots' Jonnu Smith: Looking good for Week 12

Smith (shoulder) remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, but the Patriots are expected to make him active for the contest, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Smith is one four New England skill-position players listed as questionable for Week 12, but he, fellow tight end Hunter Henry (neck) and running backs Damien Harris (neck) and Rhamondre Stevenson (knee) are all likely to be available. When both tight ends have played this season, Smith has typically played second fiddle to Henry both in terms of snaps and involvement in the passing attack. Through 10 outings, Smith has tallied 22 receptions for 210 yards and one touchdown across 36 targets.

  • Hunter Henry TE | NE

Patriots' Hunter Henry: On track to play Sunday

Henry (neck) remains questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Titans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Fellow tight end Jonnu Smith (shoulder) also heads into the contest listed as questionable, but if both are available, they'll continue to work in a timeshare versus the Titans. Confirmation on Henry's availability will arrive 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, when New England releases its inactive list.
