Everett (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Philadelphia, but coach Sean McVay said he expects the tight end to play, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.

Everett suffered his injury in a Week 1 win over Dallas, catching one of two targets for seven yards on 33 percent snap share before he left the game. His role doesn't appear to offer much promise for fantasy purposes, but he still has value to the Rams for two-TE formations. Confirmation of his Week 2 availability may have to wait until Sunday morning when the Rams release their inactive list before a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

Keene (neck) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Seahawks.

Keene was a limited participant in Friday's practice after having previously logged back-to-back full sessions. If the rookie third-round pick is once again forced to delay his NFL debut, Ryan Izzo will handle the bulk of New England's tight end reps once more, with Devin Asiasi also working in.

Kittle (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Earlier this week, coach Kyle Shanahan said Kittle would be held out of practice but then treated as a game-time decision. It isn't clear if the new plan is indicative of a minor setback or merely a matter of the 49ers being cautious. Whatever the case, Jordan Reed and Ross Dwelley are on track to get most of the playing time at tight end, while first-round pick WR Brandon Aiyuk could have a significant role in the passing game in his NFL debut.

Deguara (shin/ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

Deguara began the week as a limited participant, but he's now missed back-to-back sessions and appears to be trending in the wrong direction for Week 2. The rookie tight end was involved on offense during his NFL debut, as he drew two targets. If he misses time, Marcedes Lewis, Robert Tonyan and Jace Sternberger could see slightly more opportunities.

Togiai could make his NFL debut and play on offense during Sunday's game against the Vikings with Jack Doyle (ankle) ruled out, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.

Togiai, an undrafted rookie whom the Colts claimed earlier this month, didn't see any on-field action Week 1. However, with Doyle out for Week 2 and Trey Burton (calf) on injured reserve, he looks primed to operate as Indianapolis' No. 2 tight end behind Mo Alie-Cox. Togiai could see some looks in the passing game in addition to being used as a blocker, but he still remains off the fantasy radar in all but the deepest of formats.

Arnold could see more playing time with fellow tight end Maxx Williams (ankle) ruled out for Sunday's game against Washington, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Arnold played 55 percent of snaps to Williams' 52 percent in a Week 1 win over San Francisco, drawing only two targets despite running a route on 30 of Kyler Murray's 51 dropbacks (59 percent). While DeAndre Hopkins, Kenyan Drake, Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald all figure to be bigger priorities in the Arizona offense, Arnold could prove useful in deep fantasy leagues.

Davis (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Titans.

The rookie sixth-rounder's NFL debut will be put on hold for another week. Tyler Eifert and James O'Shaughnessy are expected to lead the Jaguars in tight end snaps Sunday, and the team may activate UDFA Ben Ellefson from the practice squad before kickoff.

Alie-Cox is expected to be the Colts' No. 1 TE in Week 2 against the Vikings following news that Jack Doyle (ankle) has been ruled out, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Head coach Frank Reich expressed his confidence in Alie-Cox to fill into this role, which is crucial in the Colts' TE-centric scheme. The 6-foot-5, 267-pound TE has experience, as he averaged 22.3 snaps per game in 2019, and he caught two passes for 20 yards against the Jaguars this past Sunday. Alie-Cox is an intriguing DFS tournament play, and the TD upside makes him viable in deeper season-long leagues.

Coach Zac Taylor said Uzomah suffered a torn Achilles and is out of the season, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

The 27-year-old was carted off the field after suffering the injury during Thursday's loss to the Browns, and his season will come to an end after only two games. Uzomah was off to a strong start this season with eight catches for 87 yards and one touchdown. Drew Sample figures to step into the starting role at tight end for the Bengals, with Cethan Carter the only other tight end on the roster.

Sample secured seven of 10 targets for 45 yards in the Bengals' 35-30 loss to the Browns on Thursday.

The 2019 second-round pick's role in the passing game quickly become more prominent upon C.J. Uzomah's Achilles injury in the fourth quarter. Sample caught several short passes down the stretch as Joe Burrow checked down underneath against the Browns' nickel and dime defenses, and he was able to make good uses of his opportunities overall. The University of Washington product saw his rookie season cut short due to a Week 10 ankle injury, but if Uzomah's injury is deemed to be a long-term one, Sample would be set for primary tight end duties in his absence beginning with a Week 3 road battle against the Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 27.
