Zach Ertz TE | WAS
Eagles' Zach Ertz: Targeted 10 times
Ertz snagged five of 10 targets for 73 yards during Sunday's 20-16 win over the Colts.
Who did Carson Wentz miss most of all while recovering from ACL surgery? If his attention during the Eagles' first drive was of any indication, it was Ertz. Wentz hit him up the seam for a 17-yard gain for his first completion and went on to connect with the tight end on all three of his targets during the Eagles' opening touchdown drive for a total of 32 yards. With all of the concerns about Philly's depth at receiver, Ertz is the man to key on, considering he's seen double-digit targets every game thus far. With Wentz now back in action, Ertz should see an uptick in downfield production from those looks.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Giants' Evan Engram: Slated for MRI on knee
Engram will undergo an MRI on his knee Monday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Engram limped off the field in the second quarter of Sunday's 27-22 win in Houston and wasn't seen for the remainder of the contest. During post-game media availability, he relayed that he "didn't feel right" and "couldn't go" after picking up the injury, which required a brace on his right knee, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. If Engram misses any time, the Giants will turn to Rhett Ellison at tight end.

A.J. Derby TE | MIA
Dolphins' A.J. Derby: Ruled out with foot injury
Derby (foot) will not return to Sunday's game against the Raiders, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Derby exited Sunday's game due to a foot injury, allowing rookie Mike Gesicki to take over as Miami's starting tight end. It remains to be seen whether Derby's current injury is related to the nagging foot issue which kept him sidelined for much of the preseason, but expect an update on the veteran's health after Sunday's game.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Giants' Evan Engram: Ruled out with knee injury
Engram has been ruled out of Sunday's game at Houston due to a knee injury.
Engram limped off the field in the second quarter, and after attempting to run on the sidelines, he made a visit to the blue tent. The ensuing evaluation apparently revealed a serious enough knee injury to hold him out for the remainder of the contest. The first chance the Giants will have to touch on Engram's injury likely will be during post-game media availability.

Logan Thomas TE | SF
Bills' Logan Thomas: Healthy scratch Sunday
Thomas (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat Chronicle reports.
Thomas has two receptions for 31 yards over the first two games, but a majority of his usage was still on special teams. Khari Lee may see a slight uptick in opportunities in Thomas' absence.

David Njoku TE | LAC
Browns' David Njoku: Only two targets Thursday
Njoku caught both of his targets for 36 yards during Thursday's 21-17 victory over the Jets.
Both of Njoku's receptions came from Baker Mayfield, though with just one catch in the second half, he wasn't as involved in the offense as fantasy owners would have liked. However, if Mayfield is in fact the starting quarterback moving forward, his gun-slinging ways and ability to throw the ball downfield should help Njoku's value, and the tight end could very well see a considerable uptick in targets.

Jacob Hollister TE | CAR
Patriots' Jacob Hollister: Ruled out this week
Hollister (chest) has been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Lions.
Hollister caught all three of his targets for 35 yards in Week 2's loss to the Jaguars, but he was added to the Patriots' injury report Friday and subsequently ruled out. His absence could free up some looks for fellow tight end Dwayne Allen, but Rob Gronkowski remains the Patriots' top option at the position.
-
Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Ravens' Hayden Hurst: Set for another absence
Hurst (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Denver, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Hurst's recovery timeline was estimated at 3-to-4 weeks when he was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his foot Aug. 24. It seems his rehab process will stretch well beyond the initial timetable, as he still hasn't returned to practice nearly a month later. Nick Boyle, Mark Andrews and Maxx Williams will continue to form a timeshare at tight end.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Giants' Evan Engram: Cleared from injury report
Engram (ankle) doesn't have a designation on the final injury report for Sunday's game in Houston.
After logging limited practices the previous two days, Engram made it back to full participation Friday. He should be fine to handle his usual role in a struggling Big Blue offense.

Eric Tomlinson TE | LAC
Jets' Eric Tomlinson: Corrals one catch Thursday
Tomlinson caught one of two targets for 14 yards in Thursday's 21-17 loss to Cleveland.
New York operated without No. 1 tight end Neal Sterling (concussion), but Tomlinson's role didn't change much, as the blocking specialist played 24 of a possible 63 snaps on offense. If he's not stepping up given the Jets' barren depth chart at his position right now, it's safe to say Tomlinson will never be a valuable fantasy commodity.
