Eagles' Zach Ertz: Limited practice Thursday
Ertz (concussion) was limited in practice Thursday.
Earlier Thursday, an independent neurologist gave Ertz the all-clear from the concussion that knocked him out of Sunday's loss at Seattle, according to Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Despite the "clean" bill of health, he's seemingly avoiding unnecessary exertion with Sunday's showdown with the Rams in mind. Friday's injury report will give a better indication of his potential to play this weekend.

Eagles' Zach Ertz: Clears concussion protocol
Ertz (concussion) cleared the concussion protocol Thursday, Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Donning a helmet, Ertz took part in stretches during the portion of practice open to the media, according to Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal. Shortly thereafter, it was announced Ertz was out of the protocol altogether. His level of participation Thursday isn't known, but he appears on pace to suit up for Sunday's road matchup with the Rams.

Troy Niklas TE | TB
Cardinals' Troy Niklas: Practices fully Thursday
Niklas (hip, knee) put in a full practice Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Niklas was nursing a back injury heading into Sunday's loss to the Rams, but he ultimately shook off the issue to play 36 snaps (25 on offense) during the contest. Though he came out of that game with a couple of new injuries, Niklas' full practice Thursday indicates that neither is a major concern heading into the Week 14 matchup with the Titans. Look for Niklas to act mostly as a blocker when he's on the field now that Ricky Seals-Jones emerging as the clear top receiving tight end for Arizona.

Jimmy Graham TE | NO
Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: No practice Wednesday
Graham (ankle) was a non-participant in practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Graham has been absent from many of the Seahawks' first practices of each week since the calendar turned to November, but the added rest and a newfound rapport with Russell Wilson has reaped dividends. Over the last eight games, Wilson has targeted Graham 21 times in the red zone, nine of which have produced touchdowns. The frequent end-zone visits have offset meager averages of 4.6 receptions for 41.4 yards per game. Because the connection hasn't shown any sign of letting up, Graham is a must-start the rest of the season so long as he suits up.

Hunter Henry TE | NE
Chargers' Hunter Henry: Not listed on injury report
Though it was expected that Henry (knee) would be limited at practice Wednesday, he wasn't listed on the Chargers' initial Week 14 injury report.
Henry came out of the team's Week 13 win over Cleveland with some knee soreness, but it evidently wasn't something that will impact the tight end's status for Sunday's game against Washington. The 2016 second-round pick logged a season-high nine targets against the Browns, hauling in seven passes for 81 yards.

Zach Ertz TE | WAS
Eagles' Zach Ertz: Not practicing Wednesday
Ertz (concussion) isn't practicing Wednesday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
While not yet cleared for practice, Ertz did at least take part in team meetings, with Eagles head coach Doug Pederson saying afterward that the tight end is doing well, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com. Pederson also mentioned that Ertz doesn't necessarily need to practice this week in order to play in Sunday's game against the Rams. The tight end will still need to clear the NFL's concussion protocol, which is always a shaky proposition the first week after suffering a head injury. Trey Burton would likely fill in as the Eagles' top pass catcher at the position if Ertz isn't cleared by Sunday.

Hunter Henry TE | NE
Chargers' Hunter Henry: Starts week with limited practice
Henry (knee) will be limited at Wednesday's practice, Jack Wang of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn downplayed the injury after watching Henry catch seven passes for 81 yards on a career-high nine targets in Sunday's 19-10 win over the Browns. Henry's ability to practice Wednesday, even in a limited capacity, puts him on track for a Week 14 matchup with a Washington defense that has yielded the third-most receiving yards to tight ends (67 per game) in the NFL this season.

Zach Ertz TE | WAS
Eagles' Zach Ertz: Attending team meetings
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said Wednesday that Ertz remains in the concussion protocol but can attend team meetings, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Knocked out of Sunday's loss to Seattle in the third quarter, Ertz likely hasn't reached his baseline marker in the protocol, which would allow for some activity in practice. Wednesday's injury report will reveal whether he was able to participate in any capacity, but he's not looking good for an appearance in Sunday's road matchup with the Rams. Ertz's absence would result in Brent Celek and Trey Burton splitting the reps at tight end.

Eric Saubert TE | SEA
Falcons' Eric Saubert: Ruled out for Thursday
Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said Saubert (back) won't play in Thursday's game against the Saints, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
The back issue prevented Saubert from practicing at any point this week and will force his first absence of the 2017 campaign. Exclusively a blocking tight end and special-teams contributor, Saubert doesn't offer any appeal in the fantasy realm.

Robert Tonyan TE | PIT
Robert Tonyan: Signs with Green Bay's practice squad
The Packers signed Tonyan to their practice squad Tuesday.
Tonyan, an undrafted free agent out of Indiana State, previously attended training camp with the Lions before being let go in early September. The 23-year-old will offer the Packers additional depth at tight end.
