  • Hunter Henry TE | NE

Chargers' Hunter Henry: Dealing with sore knee

Henry came out of Sunday's 19-10 win over the Browns with a sore knee, but Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn expects the tight end to be okay, Eric Williams of ESPN.com reports.

Henry didn't appear hobbled Sunday, catching seven passes for 81 yards on a career-high nine targets while playing 71 percent of the snaps on offense. He may show up on the injury report this week, but it doesn't sound as if he's in much danger of missing Sunday's favorable matchup against a Washington defense that's surrendered 9.0 yards per target to tight ends this season.

  • Dwayne Allen TE | NE

Patriots' Dwayne Allen: Slated for larger role

Allen figures to take on an expanded role with Rob Gronkowski suspended for Week 14 in Miami, ESPN.com's Mike Reiss reports.

Allen played a season-high 50 snaps (68 percent) when Gronkowski sat out with an injury in Week 5 against Tampa Bay, but the former Colt still didn't draw any targets, which marked his fourth of seven consecutive games without a single opportunity in the passing game. Allen has been a bit more active the past four weeks with five catches for 40 yards and a touchdown on seven targets, and the Patriots may not have any choice but to get him more involved if they're missing both Gronkowski and Chris Hogan (shoulder) for Monday Night Football in Week 14. Regardless, the Patriots likely will use multiple players to account for Gronkowski's usual targets (7.8 per game).

  • Gerald Everett TE | CHI

Rams' Gerald Everett: Finds end zone against Cards

Everett played 18 of 58 offensive snaps and caught two of four targets for seven yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 32-16 win over Arizona.

The score was the second of the campaign for the rookie, and Everett now has just 12 receptions for 222 yards through 12 games. However, he's showcased tremendous upside with four of those catches going for at least 20 yards and two of the 40-yard variety. Additionally, his athleticism projects to provide plenty of matchup problems -- especially near the goal line -- as the rookie matures and his role expands in the future. As a result, Everett's long-term upside is intriguing, but he's still likely too untrustworthy in the majority of seasonal settings.

  • Dwayne Allen TE | NE

Patriots' Dwayne Allen: Catches one pass Sunday

Allen, who was on the field for 37 of 70 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-3 win over the Bills, caught his only target in the contest for three yards.

Allen continues to make more of an impact as a blocker than a pass-catcher in the Patriots offense, but that may change some next Monday against the Dolphins in the event that Rob Gronkowski draws a suspension for his late hit on Buffalo's Tre'Davious White on Sunday.

  • Titans' Phillip Supernaw: Gets Week 13 catch

Supernaw caught a 20-yard pass on his lone target in Sunday's 24-13 win over the Texans.

The blocking tight end got a rare opportunity with the football in his hands and parlayed it into a double-digit gain. Supernaw's season total of four catches matches his career high set last year.

  • Taysom Hill QB | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: Makes impact on special teams

Hill made his NFL debut in Sunday's win over the Panthers, recording two tackles on special teams and narrowly missing out on a blocked punt or two in the contest, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

For the first time all season, the Saints dressed all three of their quarterbacks, with head coach Sean Payton desiring to make use of the 6-foot-2, 221-pound Hill's athleticism when injuries took a toll on New Orleans' special-teams units. Suffice to say, the undrafted rookie out of BYU passed the test, with Payton speaking highly of Hill's performance after the contest. During the game broadcast, Fox Sports' Troy Aikman and Joe Buck said Payton had suggested in their pregame meeting that the 27-year-old could eventually be groomed as the successor to Drew Brees under center. Though Hill has a checkered medical history from his time in college that included four season-ending injuries, he has intriguing potential as a dual-threat quarterback if he were ever to get an extended look in the NFL at any point.

  • Austin Hooper TE | ATL

Falcons' Austin Hooper: Catches three balls in loss

Hooper caught three balls for 21 yards in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Vikings.

Hooper's three receptions tied for the team lead, which speaks to how ineffective Atlanta's passing attack was on the day. A bounce-back isn't likely Thursday versus a Saints defense that has given up only 3.3 receptions per game to tight ends in 2017.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Finishes second in tight-end targets

Kittle caught two passes (three targets) for 20 yards in Sunday's victory over the Bears.

It was a quiet day for the rookie after he shared snaps with veteran Garrett Celek and actually saw one less target than his fellow tight end. On a positive note, Kittle made an incredible catch in the end zone on a deep pass from a scrambling Jimmy Garoppolo, but the errant throw pulled the tight end out of bounds, resulting in an incomplete pass. The 49ers clearly received a boost after making a quarterback change, but it will be tough to trust Kittle so long as he continues to play second fiddle to Celek (27 versus 52 offensive snaps).

  • Jimmy Graham TE | NO

Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: Touchdown streak continues

Graham caught three of four targets for 26 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 24-10 victory over the Eagles.

Graham continues to look like a reinvented version of the touchdown monster who totaled 46 scores in his final four seasons with the Saints. His recent scoring binge -- Graham's notched nine touchdowns in his past eight games -- doesn't seem to be a fluke either, considering the tight end leads the league in red-zone targets (24) and has seen at least one look from within the five-yard line in all but three games this year. He'll enter Week 14 as one of the best options at tight end despite an imposing matchup with the Jaguars' top-ranked pass defense.

  • Zach Ertz TE | WAS

Eagles' Zach Ertz: Won't return Sunday

Ertz (head) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

The Eagles haven't released an official diagnosis, but Ertz is presumably under the league's concussion protocol. In his absence, Philadelphia will need to make do with a combination of Brent Celek and Trey Burton at tight end.
