The Broncos released tight end James Casey on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chroniclereports.

Casey was active for three games this year but did not record any statistics. He was removed from the roster to open up a spot for Derek Wolfe, who is returning from a suspension.

Mayle was signed off Cowboys' the practice squad Saturday, ESPN's Todd Archer reports.

The Cowboys needed to add a skill player with Lance Dunbar getting placed on injured, so Mayle will get his shot. Look for him to see limited snaps initially.

Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis (knee) is listed as probable for the Week 5 battle with the Buccaneers.

Lewis did catch five passes on eight targets for 40 yards against the Colts last Sunday, but with the return of Julius Thomas not too far off, his window of Fantasy opportunity figures to be closing soon.

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) is listed as probable for the Sunday game against the Cardinals.

Pettigrew would normally be restricted to a blocking role, but with Eric Ebron (knee) out for at least one week, Pettigrew could see some extra targets in his return from a three-game absence. He still offers minimal upside in the passing game.

Texans tight end Garrett Graham caught his only target for eight yards in Thursday night's loss to the Colts.

On a night when Houston' quarterbacks dropped back 41 times, Graham was the target just once. His fellow tight end, C.J. Fiedorowicz, had just one target as well. The position is going under utilized in the passing game for a second straight season.

Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) is listed as active for Thursday's game against the Texans.

Though Allen is out there if you need him, the presence of fellow TE Coby Fleener makes Allen a hit-or-miss fantasy lineup option in his return to action on Thursday.
