Bowman was claimed off waivers by the Jets on Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Bowman was brought in Sunday to help fill the void left after the team opted to release Jace Amaro. It's unlikely that Bowman will see a great deal of playing time this season, but the 22-year-old will serve as a depth tight end for the Jets this season.

Amaro (groin) was claimed off waivers by the Titans on Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

The former second round pick of the Jets struggled to produce during his time in New York. Amaro will look to resurrect his career in Tennessee behind the likes of Delanie Walker and Anthony Fasano.

Malleck (neck) and the Giants reached an injury settlement on Saturday, James Kratch of the New Jersey Advanced Media reports.

Malleck was placed on IR Wednesday and it appears he and the team wanted to part ways. He'll be able to sign with another team as soon as he's healthy.

Duarte was cut by Miami on Saturday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

The seventh round pick in this past year's draft didn't cut the mustard and is gone. The Dolphins have had trouble with their tight ends in camp so it's disappointing that a draft pick couldn't make a bigger impact. He will try to hook up with another team but until he gets bigger and stronger he is unlikely to ever have a fantasy impact.

The Jets released Amaro (groin) on Saturday, Kimberly A. Martin of Newsday reports.

Amaro only put together a moderate rookie campaign in 2014, racking up 38 catches for 345 yards and two touchdowns, but a torn labrum in his shoulder proceeded to wipe away all of last season. The latter days of training camp this time around included a groin injury, seemingly forcing the Jets' hand. While Kellen Davis and Brandon Bostick have survived roster cuts, Amaro will look to latch on with another organization.

Cajuste was released by the 49ers on Saturday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Cajuste was buried on San Francisco's depth chart, but will likely be a candidate to join the practice squad once he clears waivers.

The Redskins released Paulsen on Saturday.

Paulsen was hoping to add tight end depth to the team. However, with Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis already locked into the first two spots on the depth chart, the 29-year-old figured to be a long shot for making the final roster.

The Giants waived Thomas on Saturday, Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.

Thomas lost his battle with Ryan Nassib to back up veteran Eli Manning under center. The 25-year-old was acquired by the Giants off waivers in June. He went 7-for-12 with a touchdown and two interceptions in three preseason games.

The Jets opted to release Sudfeld on Saturday, Connor Hughes of The Star Ledger reports.

Sudfeld was hoping to provide some depth at tight end for the Jets. He was competing with Jace Amaro, Wes Saxton, and Brandon Bostick for a backup role. He compiled 74 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in four preseason games.

Moeaki was cut by the Bears on Saturday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

The roster move comes as a bit of a surprise, as after a solid preseason, Moeaki was expected to be the backup tight end behind Zach Miller. Rob Housler and Khari Lee will likely be fighting for that spot now.
