The Bears signed tight end Bear Pascoe to a one-year contract, the team announced Thursday.

In 2014, Pascoe caught two receptions for three yards and one touchdown while playing for the Falcons.

Cardinals tight end Troy Niklas is able to participate in team activities, reports Fox Sports 910.

Niklas was placed on injured reserve after undergoing ankle surgery last season.

The Rams have reportedly signed safety Rodney McLeod and tight end Cory Harkey to their restricted free agent tenders, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan.

Harkey had eight catches for 55 yards and a touchdown last season while McLeod totaled 72 tackles with two interceptions in 16 games.

The Jaguars restructured the contract of tight end Marcedes Lewis, according to a report by Jacksonville.com.

Lewis did not receive an extension. This year will be the last year of his contract. The restructuring should reduce his cap number, which is currently $8.2 million. 

The Ravens announced on Friday that tight end Phillip Supernaw, safety Brynden Trawick, cornerback Rashaan Melvin and offensive lineman Ryan Jensen signed their exclusive-rights free agent tenders.

Supernaw was mostly a reserve in 2014 and had two catches for 27 yards. Trawick is a backup safety that plays on special teams coverage units. Melvin was signed off of the Dolphins' practice squad after injuries decimated the cornerbacks. Jensen was a 2013 draft pick that ended up spending the majority of 2014 on the practice squad.

The Giants announced Wednesday that they have signed safety Josh Gordy and linebacker Ryan Jones to one-year deals, per the Daily News. 

Gordy, who is on his fourth team in six years, played all 16 games for the Colts last season, but started just one. He contributed to 24 tackles and added an interception.

Jones was on the Ravens roster last year after going undrafted out of Montana Tech in 2013.

The Broncos signed free agent tight end/fullback James Casey to a one-year deal on Saturday, reuniting him with coach Gary Kubiak, per ProFootballTalk.com. Casey spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Texans under Kubiak, registering 752 receiving yards and four touchdown in 61 games (20 starts). He caught six passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns his final two seasons with Philadelphia.

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew had his worst season from a statistical standpoint in 2014, totaling a career-low 10 catches for 70 yards and no touchdowns. His numbers aren't expected to improve dramatically in 2015 since the Lions want to get second-year tight end Eric Ebron more involved in the passing game.

Still, coach Jim Caldwell holds Pettigrew in high regard.

"I think he's an iron man," Caldwell said, per MLive.com. "(He did a) tremendous job. Got a lot of respect for that man. Let me tell you something, he was tough. He was gritty. And I think those guys are the kinds of guys you can build a foundation upon.

"He's one of those guys."

Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis, who has been with the team since 2006, appears to be on the trading block, per Pro Football Talk. 

Lewis, however, will be a difficult player to move. The 31-year-old is coming off a season in which he caught just 18 passes and is due $6.65 million in base salary this year. The report suggests the Jaguars would be willing to take some of Lewis' salary or accept a late-round draft pick in return. 

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians still believes in young quarterback Logan Thomas. Arians didn't want to ruin his confidence last season after being forced into action with multiple injuries to Arizona quarterbacks, reports the team's website.

"He's going to get a ton of work and those reps are invaluable," Arians said. "Just in decision-making, how fast you're getting it out of your hand, where you're going with it, where you're going when 'one' and 'two' are still covered. Are you still scrambling around or are you going to find your outlets? That growth process comes strictly from reps."

Arians still has a plan for the second-year pro.

"We drafted him for two years from now, not November," Arians said. "It just so happened his number got called (earlier.) I was not going to let him fail (in San Francisco) because once you fail those scars never go away.

"It's very hard to get the guys back in the locker room if you cost them the playoffs. I just wasn't going to put him in that situation. Right or wrong, it just was my decision."
