The Titans re-signed tight end Chase Coffman on Monday. He spent last season with Tennessee, totaling six catches for 64 yards and one touchdown.

The Dolphins were awarded quarterback Logan Thomas off waivers Sunday, reports the Miami Herald. Thomas was recently cut by the Cardinals.

The Cardinals announced Saturday they have released quarterbacks Logan Thomas and Phillip Sims, per a team release. 

Thomas appeared in two games for Arizona last year, going 1 for 9 for 81 yards and a touchdown, but struggled to grasp the No. 3 job. Sims was an undrafted rookie from Alabama. 

The Lions cut quarterback Kellen Moore and tightend Joseph Fauria on Saturday, according to ESPN.com.

Fauria was a third-year player out of UCLA, while Moore was entering his fourth season our of Boise State.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid delivered some good news Tuesday regarding the status of tight end Travis Kelce, who left practice Monday due to an injury.

"Travis has a slightly sprained ankle,” Reid said, per the team's official website. “It's not a high ankle sprain. There's a chance if we were playing a regular season game, he'd have a pretty good shot of playing.

“It looks like he got his foot caught in the grass. He just tweaked his ankle a little bit. I think he’s lucky the grass gave way a little bit. That’s what happened.”

The Chiefs open the season Sept. 13 against the Texans, which gives Kelce a little less than two weeks to get ready for the start of the 2015 campaign.

Kelce had a breakout season in 2014, totaling 67 catches for 862 yards and five touchdowns. He is expected to play a key role again in the Chiefs' passing game this season.

The Jets announced Tuesday they have placed tight end Jace Amaro on the season-ending injured reserve list due to a torm labrum in his shoulder, per the Daily News.

Amaro will undergo surgery later this week, according to Jets coach Todd Bowles. Amaro had four receptions for 38 yards and two touchdowns last season. 

In addition to the moves the Bengals made Monday, most notably releasing receiver Denarius Moore, the team cut seven more players to get down to the 75-man limit, per ESPN.com. 

The team released WR Desmond Lawrence, LB Nico Johnson, DT Kwame Geathers, DE Sam Montgomery, OG Chris Jasperse, TE John Peters and WR Tevin Reese. 

The team put FB Mark Weisman and WR Onterio McCalebb on the waived/injured list, LB Sean Porter on the reserve/PUP list and OT Cedric Ogbuehi on the reserve/non-football injury list.

The Patriots released five players Monday. They were WR Josh Boyce, WR Jonathan Krause, TE Jimmay Mundine, DL Joe Vellano and LB Dekoda Watson. 

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce left practice Monday due to a leg injury, according to The Kansas City Star.

Kelce walked off the field under his own power, but the extent of the injury is unknown. Trainer Rick Burkholder said the team will have an update on Kelce’s condition Tuesday.

The Cardinals relased punter Dave Zastudil, LB Lorenzo Alexander, ILB Glenn Carson, G Nate Isles, ILB Edwin Jackson, ILB Andrae Kirk, S Shaq Richardson, TE Gannon Sinclair, WR Ryan Spadola and S Darren Woodard on Monday.

They also waived/injured wide receiver Travis Harvey (hamstring), who will be placed on injured reserve if he clears waivers.
