The Ravens are down to 53 players, thanks to a series of Saturday cuts.

The offensive players now gone are linemen Parker Graham, A.Q. Shipley and Ryan Jensen, tight end Phillip Supernaw, quarterback Keith Wenning and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint.

Those on defense include defensive backs Dominique Franks, Derek Cox, Tramain Jacobs and Sammy Seamster, linebacker John Simon and linemen Jamie Meder and A.J. Pataiali'i.

The team also placed wide receiver Jeremy Butler on injured reserve.

The Falcons trimmed their roster down to 53 on Saturday, cutting the following players: LB Pat Angerer, DL Nosa Eguae, RB Maurice Hagens, CB Jordan Mabin, WR Freddie Martino S Kimario McFadden, OL Pat McQuistan, TE Jacob Pedersen, OL Adam Replogle, DL Donte Rumph, LB Yawin Smallwood, RB Josh Vaughan, CB Ricardo Allen, S Sean Baker, WR Jeremy Ebert, G Harland Gunn, OT Terren Jones, WR Bernard Reedy, DT Travian Robertson, TE Mickey Shuler, LB Jacques Smith, WR Geraldo Boldewijn

Titans tight end Chase Coffman has been released Friday.

Coffman appeared in 11 games last season with the Falcons, but did not record any offensive stats. He caught one pass in 2012. 

The Bills have placed three players on injured reserve Friday.

Tight end Tony Moeaki, cornerback Mario Butler and cornerback Bobby Felder were all put on IR. Moeaki started 29 games for the Chiefs from 2010 to 2012. He was active for two games last season with the Bills, but failed to record any offensive stats. 

Tight end Kyle Miller, whose NFL regular season experience consists of one game with Indianapolis in 2012, has been cut by the Dolphins. He had been signed by Miami after the 2013 season.

Ravens tight end Phillip Supernaw suffered an apparent head injury during Thursday's preseason finale against the Saints, the team announced. Supernaw sustained the injury in the first half and was taken back to the locker room for evaluation as part of the league's concussion protocol. 

None of those listed as injured for the Bills is on their inactive list for their Thursday clash against visiting Detroit.

The inactives are cornerbacks Bobby Felder, Corey Graham, Mario Butler and Stephon Gilmore, safety Jonathan Meeks and tight ends Garrick Williams , Scott Chandler, Lee Smith and Tony Moeaki.

The following starters will not suit up for the Lions Thursday night against the Bills: Quarterback Matthew Stafford, receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, running back Reggie Bush, center Dominic Raiola, guard Rob Sims and tight end Brandon Pettigrew, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, cornerback Rashean Mathis, defensive end Jason Jones, safeties James Ihedigbo and Don Carey and linebacker Kyle Van Noy.

Expectations continue to skyrocket for Eagles second-year tight end Zach Ertz. Tight ends coach Ted Williams was the latest to chime in, calling Ertz "one of the best route-runners I've ever seen."

"He takes a lot of pride in that," Williams added to Philly.com. "He has a lot of confidence. He's hard to defeat, because he doesn't take defeat very well. He feels, 'You can't cover me.'"

The website noted Ertz caught four touchdowns in the second half of last season and claimed he's poised to break out this year. Ertz and fellow tight end Brent Celek will have "a much bigger role in the passing game," the report said.

Ertz said he's taking every rep "personally."

"If somebody beats me, I'm going to take that personally. I want to be great," he said. "That's my goal each and every day I step out onto the field. I want to prove to myself and everybody else how good I can be, and I'm willing to work as hard as I need to achieve that goal."

The Dolphins waived receivers Armon Binns and Ryan Spadola, tight end Brett Brackett, cornerback Steven Clarke, defensive end Rakim Cox, defensive tackle Cory Grissom and center Tyler Larsen. Miami also put defensive tackle A.J. Francis, running back Mike Gillislee and tight end Arthur Lynch on injured reserve, ending their seasons.
