The Vikings released Tonyan on Tuesday.

Tonyan was signed to the Vikings' active roster Oct. 19 for the second time this season to serve as the No. 3 tight end behind Josh Oliver and Johnny Mundt. With T.J. Hockenson (knee) on track to return from injured reserve for Week 8 or 9, there doesn't appear to be room for Tonyan, and he will be released for the second time this month. Tonyan could stick around in Minnesota and sign with the practice squad again, but he has an opportunity to explore his options and sign with a team in need of depth at tight end.

Andrews caught all four of his targets for 41 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers.

Andrews caught a nine-yard touchdown in the second quarter before adding a four-yard score in the third. The veteran tight end has three touchdowns in his last two games after opening the season on a five-game touchdown drought, and Andrews has 11 catches over that three-game span after posting only six catches through Week 4. Andrews still is ceding more snaps than in previous seasons to Isaiah Likely, but at least the recent uptick in production has Andrews back in the usable range for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 8 trip to Cleveland.

Johnson was not targeted in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia.

The Giants' passing game was abhorrent as a whole Sunday, as Daniel Jones and Drew Lock combined for just 105 yards while completing a collective 17 of 29 attempts. Daniel Bellinger was the only one of the team's tight ends to even see a target, and he received just one look, which he caught for 11 yards. There's no reason to believe that Bellinger has usurped Johnson on the depth chart since the latter logged 90 percent of New York's offensive snaps in the ugly loss to Bellinger's 12 percent, so Johnson should have an opportunity to bounce back Week 8 against Pittsburgh on Monday Night Football.

Dissly secured eight of 11 targets for 81 yards in the Chargers' 17-15 loss to the Cardinals on Monday.

Dissly led the Chargers in receptions, receiving yards and targets in what may have been his best all-around career performance. He had memorably recorded a 3-105-1 line in his NFL debut back in Week 1 of the 2018 season with the Seahawks, but the veteran was much more productive with respect to catches Monday night and was a key target for Justin Herbert throughout the game. Dissly had topped out at four catches and 29 yards in terms of single-game highs this season, however, and Monday night's volume was aided by the absences of WR Quentin Johnston (ankle) and, to a lesser extent, TE Hayden Hurst (groin). Dissly's first opportunity to build on Monday night's breakout comes in a Week 8 home matchup against the Saints.

McBride had five receptions (on seven targets) for 51 yards in Monday's 17-15 win over the Chargers.

McBride led the Cardinals in both targets and receptions Monday, serving as quarterback Kyler Murray's favorite target. Backup tight end Greg Dortch cashed in Arizona's lone receiving touchdown on the evening, but the 24-year-old McBride still posted solid numbers for the third game running since returning from a one-game absence Week 4. Managers should feel confident playing McBride against the Dolphins in Week 8.

Otton brought in eight of 10 targets for 100 yards in the Buccaneers' 41-31 loss to the Ravens on Monday. He also fumbled once but recovered.

Otton finished as the Buccaneers' leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets, reaching the lofty numbers thanks in no small part to Mike Evans' first-half exit with a hamstring injury. Otton's reception and receiving yardage totals were both regular-season career highs, while his target tally matched the high-water mark he established Week 13 of his 2022 rookie campaign. Otton could be set to garner a similar amount of Baker Mayfield's attention moving forward, considering Evans' injury and the fact Chris Godwin was carted off with his left lower leg in an air cast late in Monday's loss.

Whyle recorded three receptions on four targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Bills.

Mason Rudolph got all three of his tight ends involved, and Whyle converted a first down on all three of his receptions. Sunday's performance marked Whyle's third multi-reception performance of the season, and he could continue to see a slight uptick in production if Rudolph remains under center in Week 8 against the Lions.

Vannett recorded four receptions on four targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Bills.

Vannett saw both his second-highest snap total and rate of the season and got involved as a pass catcher early in the game. His longest gain of the day went for 11 yards, and he managed to record a double-digit yardage total in a game for the second time on the campaign.

Okonkwo recorded four receptions (on four targets) for 50 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Bills.

Okonkwo has been on the field for at least 55 percent of offensive snaps in four of six games this season, and he had his best game of the season in Sunday's loss while displaying a rapport with Mason Rudolph. He accounted for the team's longest play from scrimmage with a 26-yard catch late in the first quarter that served as the majority of his production. If Rudolph remains under center Week 8 against the Lions, Okonkwo could benefit again, though he had yet to top 16 yards in a game entering Sunday's contest.

Zylstra reverted to Detroit's practice squad Monday.

Zylstra was elevated to the active roster for the first time this season, and he ended up seeing playing time on both offense and special teams but failed to record any stats. The 27-year-old will now wait for his next opportunity to be called up for a game.
