Zylstra reverted to Detroit's practice squad Monday.

Zylstra was elevated to the active roster for the first time this season, and he ended up seeing playing time on both offense and special teams but failed to record any stats. The 27-year-old will now wait for his next opportunity to be called up for a game.

Hurst (groin) is inactive for Monday night's game against the Cardinals.

With Hurst unavailable versus Arizona, fellow tight end Will Dissly could see a modest bump in Week 7 opportunities, while Eric Tomlinson and Stone Smartt also are on hand to mix in. Hurst will target a potential return to action in Week 8 against the Saints.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Kittle has a sprained foot and is day-to-day, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

All of the 49ers' top skill-position talents not named Brock Purdy are dealing with some sort of health concern at the moment. Running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) remains on injured reserve and is unlikely to return Week 8, wideout Brandon Aiyuk suffered ACL and MCL tears in his right ankle Sunday against the Chiefs, and wideout Deebo Samuel is hospitalized with pneumonia and doesn't have a timeline for his return, leaving Kittle as the healthiest of the bunch. Still, Kittle may have some practice limitations Wednesday through Friday to ensure he at least is available to Purdy and San Francisco's offense Week 8 versus Dallas.

Calcaterra served as the Eagles' No. 1 tight end in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants but caught just one pass for five yards.

Calcaterra saw plenty of playing time in the absence of Dallas Goedert (hamstring), but the Eagles didn't make him a significant part of the gameplan. That wasn't necessarily his fault, as the team's rushing attack was so successful that they only attempted 15 passes in total, leaving very few targets to go around. Calcaterra could be the top tight end again next week if Goedert remains out, but he's never had more than four catches in a game (and has only once had more than two) despite filling in for Goedert on multiple occasions in recent years.

Alie-Cox did not have a reception and just one target in Sunday's win over Miami.

Alie-Cox had some relevance in the passing game the past two weeks with Joe Flacco at quarterback (six receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown) but was back to mostly serving as a blocking tight end with Anthony Richardson as the starter. Alie-Cox has just one reception in games started by Richardson.

Mallory had one reception for five yards on his lone target in Sunday's win over Miami.

Mallory was the only Indy tight end with a reception amid an anemic passing attack under quarterback Anthony Richardson. Mallory played just four snaps on offense and is No. 4 on the depth chart among tight ends, so his upside is limited in the offense.

Hockenson (knee) was estimated as a limited participant on Monday's practice report.

The Vikings didn't actually hold practice Monday but are required to release an injury report because they play the Rams this Thursday. Speaking with the media Monday, head coach Kevin O'Connell wasn't ready to say if Hockenson would be activated from the reserve/PUP list in time for Thursday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Mundt had four receptions for eight yards on five targets in Sunday's loss to Detroit.

Mundt got heavy usage by playing on 40 of the offense's 60 snaps and went out on 27 routes, according to Pro Football Focus. However, Mundt could see a reduced role as early as Thursday if T.J. Hockenson returns from a knee injury against the Rams.

Hooper, who was on the field for 23 of a possible 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 32-16 loss to the Jaguars, caught four of his five targets in the contest for 32 yards, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Meanwhile, fellow TE Hunter Henry (52 snaps) caught eight of his nine targets for a team-high 92 yards. Despite his uptick in usage Sunday, Hooper is not a high-percentage fantasy lineup option while working in a timeshare that favors Henry.

Strange did not draw any targets in Sunday's 32-16 win against the Patriots.

The Jaguars were able to leverage a very run-heavy attack offensively in Week 7, so Strange's snap count (27) actually lagged behind that of blocking specialist Luke Farrell (30). As long as Evan Engram is healthy, Strange won't be anything more than a fantasy dart throw.
