  • DJ Moore WR | BUF

Panthers' DJ Moore: Questionable after limited practice

Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh after downgrading to limited practice participation Friday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Reports following last week's win over Seattle suggested Moore suffered a minor knee sprain late in the game, but he was then listed on the practice reports with an ankle injury and managed full participation Wednesday and Thursday. The end-of-week downgrade suggests a real concern, with coach Steve Wilks acknowledging Friday that Moore is a game-time decision as the team prepares for a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, per Augusta Stone of the Panthers' official site. Wilks did say he hoped to know more Saturday -- perhaps a hint that reports on Moore's availability will come before Sunday morning.

  • Tyler Boyd WR | TEN

Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Optimism regarding Week 15 status

Coach Zac Taylor noted Friday that he feels good about Boyd's (finger) chances of playing Sunday against the Buccaneers, Andrew Gillis of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The same applies to fellow wideout Tee Higgins (hamstring), with the report suggesting that both players were able to work fully Friday. The Bengals' upcoming injury report is slated to clarify if either Boyd or Higgins end up carrying Week 15 injury designations, but at this stage both players are trending in the right direction.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Expects to play Sunday

Higgins (hamstring) noted Friday that he expects to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Andrew Gillis of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Meanwhile, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site relays that in reference to the Week 15 statuses of both Higgins and Tyler Boyd (finger), coach Zac Taylor indicated that he "feel(s) good about it." Friday's final injury report will clarify whether one or both of the wideouts head into the weekend with injury designations.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Could return Week 17 after surgery

Lockett (finger) likely will have surgery and could be back as soon as Week 17, though a return timeline won't be available until after the procedure, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Lockett suffered a spiral crack in his first metacarpal during the final drive of Thursday's 21-13 loss to San Francisco. He hopes to miss only one game and return for the final two weeks of the regular season as Seattle fights for a wild-card spot, but it sounds like there's not actually a timeline yet, and all that's known for sure is he'll miss at least one game when the Seahawks face the Chiefs in Week 16.

  • Romeo Doubs WR | NE

Packers' Romeo Doubs: Role could be limited?

Coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Doubs has looked good in practice but won't have "too much on his plate" Monday against the Rams, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Doubs played 82 percent or more of snaps in six straight games Weeks 3-8, averaging 4.0 catches for 38.7 yards and 0.5 TDs on 6.8 targets. He'll return to a lesser role after missing more than month with a high-ankle sprain, as his absence coincided with Christian Watson's emergence and Randall Cobb's return from injured reserve. With Allen Lazard also healthy, Doubs might just be the No. 4 receiver Monday night, or perhaps the No. 3 if Green Bay is OK with not having a slot specialist and pushing Cobb out of his normal role.

  • Corey Davis WR | NYJ

Jets' Corey Davis: Unavailable Week 15

Davis (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Detroit, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Davis was unable to practice this week after he suffered a concussion against the Bills, and he'll be sidelined for at least one game. The Jets have a quick turnaround next week with a Thursday game versus the Jaguars, so he's in danger of missing two contests in quick succession. Elijah Moore and Denzel Mims should be more involved Sunday with Davis sidelined, though the Jets' passing attack could take a step back with Zach Wilson starting at quarterback after Mike White (ribs) was ruled out.

  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Three catches in win

Jennings brought in three of five targets for 31 yards in the 49ers' 21-13 win over the Seahawks on Thursday night.

Jennings played a modest role despite the absence of Deebo Samuel (knee), checking in a distant second to George Kittle in receiving yardage. However, it was a relatively quiet night for the air attack overall, with Jennings' five targets checking in second on the team for the night. The fourth-year pro should have another opportunity to operate as the No. 2 wideout in a Week 16 home matchup against the Commanders a week from Saturday.

  • 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Quiet night in win

Aiyuk brought in two of four targets for 19 yards in the 49ers' 21-13 win over the Seahawks on Thursday night.

Even with Deebo Samuel (knee) sidelined, Aiyuk filled only a modest role in the 49ers' latest victory. However, rookie quarterback Brock Purdy spread the ball around to six targets overall, and the George Kittle-Christian McCaffrey trio handled the heaviest pass-catching workload among them. Aiyuk could have a larger role in a Week 16 home matchup a week from Saturday versus a Commanders secondary that's given up some chunk plays through the air this season.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Suffers broken finger

Lockett broke a bone in his index finger during Thursday's 21-13 loss to the 49ers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Lockett played the majority of the game and tied for the team lead with seven receptions and paced the receiving corps with 68 yards. However, he exited the contest late and will be sidelined for some period of time. Coach Pete Carroll declined to give further detail, though he said Lockett hopes to return for the team's Week 17 matchup against the Jets, per Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Co-leads team in receptions

Metcalf secured seven of nine targets for 55 yards in the Seahawks' 21-13 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.

Metcalf co-led the Seahawks in receptions on the night and checked in second to Tyler Lockett (finger) in receiving yardage. The star wideout's yardage tally was his lowest since Week 9's 37-yard total versus the Cardinals, but he's now recorded at least seven receptions in three of his past four games going into a critical Week 16 road matchup against the Chiefs, one in which he's expected to see even more work than usual with Lockett in line to sit out.
