  • Jalen Tolbert WR | MIA

Cowboys' Jalen Tolbert: Takes seat again in Week 2

Tolbert (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Bengals, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

For a second consecutive game to begin his career, the rookie third-round pick won't be available to a Cowboys offense that's without fellow pass catchers Michael Gallup (knee, inactive) and James Washington (foot, IR). The decision to delay Tolbert's pro debut is an interesting one, especially with Dak Prescott (thumb) sidelined for the foreseeable future. In any case, interim starting quarterback Cooper Rush will have CeeDee Lamb, Noah Brown, Dennis Houston, Simi Fehoko and KaVontae Turpin available at wide receiver Week 2.

  • Texans' Phillip Dorsett: Inactive in Week 2

Dorsett (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 2 clash against the Broncos.

After logging four snaps in the Week 1 tie with the Colts and failing to come up with his lone target, Dorsett won't see the field in Week 2. The veteran speedster's inactive status locks in No. 4 receiver duties for Chris Conley versus Denver.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Active for Week 2

Higgins (concussion/personal) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

Higgins sustained a concussion during the Bengals' season-opening loss to the Steelers, but he'll be in uniform Sunday, and barring any in-game setbacks, is in line to be a key Week 2 target for QB Joe Burrow alongside fellow wideouts Ja'Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd. Prior to his exit from last weekend's contest, Higgins logged 26 snaps en route to catching both of his targets for 27 yards.

  • Damiere Byrd WR | BUF

Falcons' Damiere Byrd: Healthy scratch Sunday

Byrd (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Rams, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Byrd was also a healthy scratch in Week 1. The seven-year-pro is currently stuck behind undrafted free agent Jared Bernhardt as the team's No. 6 wideout. He'll work this upcoming week to earn a chance to suit up next Sunday, when the Falcons travel to Seattle.

  • Skyy Moore WR | GB

Chiefs' Skyy Moore: No targets in Week 2

Moore tallied zero targets during Thursday's 27-24 victory over the Chargers.

Moore played just two total offensive snaps in the contest and looks to be fifth in the pecking order at wide receiver behind Marquez Valdes-Scantling, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman and Justin Watson. That could change as it gets deeper into the season and the rookie wideout gets more adjusted to the pro level.

  • Darius Slayton WR | IND

Giants' Darius Slayton: Will play Sunday

Slayton is active Sunday against the Panthers, Bob Brookover of NJ.com reports.

Slayton was inactive Week 1 as a coach's decision. However, with rookie Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) unable to go, Slayton now will get a chance to play.

  • Browns' Michael Woods: Will sit Sunday

Woods (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Jets.

Woods missed last week and part of this week with an illness. However, he did return to practice in full Thursday. The team's projected No. 5 wideout will work to earn a chance to suit up in Week 3 against the Steelers in practice next week.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabe Davis: Looking iffy for Monday

Davis, who was added to the Bills' injury report Saturday and is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Titans, is dealing with an ankle sprain that he suffered on a non-contact play during the team's final practice of the week, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Garofolo notes that Davis may be more on the "doubtful side of questionable" as the first wave of games kick off Sunday, but both the wideout and Bills are holding out hope that he demonstrates enough improvement in the next 24 hours to gain clearance for Monday night. More information regarding which direction Davis is trending should be available a few hours prior to Monday's 7:15 p.m. ET kickoff, but fantasy managers desperate to avoid taking a zero at any spot in their lineups this week may be best off replacing the 23-year-old receiver with another option.

  • Erik Ezukanma WR | PHI

Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Will not play Sunday

Ezukanma (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Ezukanma impressed in camp, but the fourth-round selected rookie will remain inactive again in Week 2. He'll continue to try and work his way up the team's depth chart and suit up in Week 3, when the Dolphins host the Bills.

  • Tre'Quan Smith WR | DET

Saints' Tre'Quan Smith: Another absence Sunday

Smith (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Buccaneers, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Smith has been tending to a shoulder injury since the Saints' preseason finale, missing both of the team's first two games of the campaign in the process. However, he practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday through Friday, so he may be closing in on his first action of the season. In the meantime, Marquez Callaway and Deonte Harty will be New Orleans' main depth options behind the top wide-receiver trio of Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry and Chris Olave.
