  • Malik Taylor WR | DET

Malik Taylor: Let go from IR

Taylor (undisclosed) was waived from the Packers' injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Taylor appeared set to miss the entirety of the 2022 campaign after he reverted to Green Bay's IR in mid-August. The 26-year-old wideout recorded 14 yards on two receptions while primarily playing on special teams (131 of his 153 total snaps) over 10 games with the Packers in 2021. Taylor will now be free to work out a contract elsewhere, assuming he gets healthy again at some point this regular season.

  • Jason Moore WR | DET

Chargers' Jason Moore: Moved up to active roster

Moore was elevated from the Chargers' practice squad ahead of Thursday night's matchup against the Chiefs.

The third-year wideout should help provide additional depth for the Chargers' receiving corps with No. 1 wideout Keenan Allen (hamstring) sidelined Thursday. Moore caught three of his four targets for 56 yards while playing two games between Weeks 14 and 16 with Los Angeles last season.

  • Browns' Michael Woods: Back in practice Thursday

Woods (illness) was listed as a full participant on the Browns' injury report Thursday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Woods appears to have gotten over an unspecified illness that forced him to sit out Cleveland's season opener against Carolina, as well as Wednesday's practice. The rookie sixth-round pick should now be available to provide the Browns with additional depth at wide receiver heading into this Sunday's game versus the Jets.

  • Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Another limited showing

Perriman (knee) was limited at Thursday's practice.

Tampa Bay's Week 2 injury report is chock full of top skill-position talent, with Mike Evans (calf), Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) not practicing Thursday and Leonard Fournette (hamstring), Russell Gage (hamstring) and Perriman experiencing caps on their reps. Friday could provide some finality regarding who among the group will be available Sunday at New Orleans, but if Perriman is active he could have a decent shot to be a regular target of Tom Brady.

  • Bears' Velus Jones: Back to no practice

Jones (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.

After a seeming test run on the field Wednesday, when he was considering limited, Jones may have taken a step back as he tends to a hamstring injury. The rookie third-round pick is seeking his pro debut, but that could be in danger if he logs another DNP to wrap up Week 2 prep.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Logs limited practice

Wilson (toe) was limited at practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

We'll circle back on Wilson's status Friday, but he'll presumably need to practice fully in order to approach Sunday's game against the Ravens minus a Week 2 injury designation. If he's available this weekend, Wilson once again will be in line to work as Miami's No. 3 wide receiver behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

  • Russell Gage WR | SF

Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Logs limited practice Thursday

Gage (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday.

Gage was among three Bucs wideouts to sit out Wednesday -- also, Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) -- but he was the only one to return to the field one day later. Meanwhile, Mike Evans also didn't practice Thursday after kicking off Week 2 prep with a capped session, and Breshad Perriman remained limited. Overall, that accounts for the team's top five options at the position, so Gage's ability to practice puts him in a better light than Evans, Godwin and Jones. In the end, Friday's injury report could foretell how Tampa Bay's group of pass catchers will break down Sunday at New Orleans.

  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Packers' Allen Lazard: Second straight limited practice

Lazard (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

For a second consecutive session, Lazard handled individual drills, at the very least, but there's still room for the Packers' top wide receiver to bump up to a full practice. He'll have a chance to do just that Friday, but considering he's made a pair of appearances this week, he could be trending toward making his season debut Sunday against the Bears after sitting out Week 1 due to an ankle injury.

  • Michael Gallup WR | WAS

Cowboys' Michael Gallup: Remains limited in practice

Gallup (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. He remains on track to sit out Sunday's game against the Bengals before potentially making his season debut Week 3 against the Giants, according to Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

While Gallup's limited listing on the official practice report represented no change from Wednesday, the wideout took a meaningful step forward Thursday by practicing in pads for the first time since he tore the ACL in his left knee Jan. 2. The Cowboys plan to have Gallup steadily ramp up the intensity of his activity in their subsequent practices with the hope that he demonstrates enough progress to suit up in the team's Sept. 26 game in New York. If Gallup makes it back for that game, he would likely be catching passes from Cooper Rush, who is expected to serve as Dallas' starting quarterback through at least Week 4 while Dak Prescott is on the mend from thumb surgery.

  • Jets' Braxton Berrios: Puts in full practice

Berrios (heel) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Berrios had been limited in the Jets' first Week 2 session Wednesday due to the heel issue, but his upgrade to full activity a day later puts him in the clear for Sunday's game in Cleveland. Though he faces more competition for reps at receiver in 2022 with the addition of rookie first-round pick Garrett Wilson and with Corey Davis and Elijah Moore healthy again after injury-plagued 2021 campaigns, Berrios still saw a decent amount of involvement in the Jets' Week 1 loss to Baltimore. He played 47 percent of the Jets' offensive snaps and finished with five receptions for 37 yards on six targets.
