  • Rondale Moore WR | MIN

Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Not spotted at practice

Moore (hamstring) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Moore was added to the Cardinals' Week 1 injury report Thursday, and his absence from the early part of Friday's session doesn't bode well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Chiefs. Look for added clarity with regard to the wideout's status to arrive once the team's Friday injury report is posted. If Moore is out or limited this weekend, Andy Isabella and Greg Dortch would be candidates for added snaps behind Marquise Brown and A.J. Green.

  • Browns' Michael Woods: Dealing with illness

Woods didn't practice Friday due to an illness, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Woods dealt with a hamstring injury for the majority of training camp, and he's now on the injury report with an illness. Even if he clears both issues ahead of Week 1, the rookie sixth-round pick isn't expected to garner a major offensive role during Sunday's season opener against the Panthers.

  • Giants' Sterling Shepard: To be game-time call

Coach Brian Daboll said Friday that he wants Shepard (Achilles) to be a game-time decision for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Titans, Tom Rock of Newsday reports.

It remains to be seen whether Shepard will be limited in Friday's practice, but it sounds like the veteran wideout's status will come down to the wire in any event. Considering that he's less than nine full months removed from a left Achilles tear, there's no guarantee that Shepard handles a complete assortment of offensive snaps Week 1, even if he does suit up.

  • Allen Robinson WR | DET

Rams' Allen Robinson: Lackluster team debut Thursday

Robinson brought in one of two targets for 12 yards in the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

Robinson's middling production was fairly emblematic of a lackluster night overall for the Rams offense, which had a difficult time getting in sync against an aggressive Bills defense. The veteran receiver was also the intended target on Matthew Stafford's final pass attempt of the night into the left corner of the end zone -- which was broken up -- and his lack of production is likely at least partly a byproduct of the fact there rarely was time for downfield routes to develop thanks to a relentless Buffalo pass rush. Robinson will naturally have much better performances as the season unfolds and he develops further chemistry with Stafford, and previous reports of a solid training camp help support that notion. In the meantime, Robinson's first opportunity to atone for the season-opening dud comes against the Falcons in a Week 2 home battle a week from Sunday.

  • Bills' Isaiah McKenzie: Finds end zone in opener

McKenzie brought in two of three targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 31-10 win over the Rams on Thursday night.

McKenzie didn't log any rush attempts and appeared to operate as the No. 4 receiver, but he made good use of his scant opportunities with a seven-yard touchdown grab midway through the third quarter. The sixth-year pro has been a solid complementary threat in the Bills offense since arriving in Buffalo back in 2019, and although offseason addition Jamison Crowder will serve as formidable competition for playing time in the slot, McKenzie's speed and ability in space should keep him involved to varying degrees each week.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabe Davis: Scores touchdown in Week 1 win

Davis brought in four of five targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 31-10 win over the Rams on Thursday night.

Although teammate Stefon Diggs stole the spotlight with an 8-122-1 line that included a spectacular 53-yard touchdown grab against Jalen Ramsey, Davis actually drew first blood on the defending champions with his 26-yard score in the first quarter. The speedster would go on to finish second in receptions and receiving yards to Diggs, and he also recorded the second-longest catch of the night, a 47-yard reception on the first play of the fourth quarter that helped set up a Bills touchdown. The start to Davis' tenure as the No. 2 receiver got off to a rousing start, one he'll look to build on at the expense of the Titans in a Week 2 home matchup on Monday night, Sept. 19.

  • Cooper Kupp WR | SEA

Rams' Cooper Kupp: Spectacular numbers in Week 1 loss

Kupp secured 13 of 15 targets for 128 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

Kupp appeared to be about the only Rams offensive player that showed up for the start of the team's title defense, with his numbers pacing the team across the board. The sixth-year pro's performance, which included a four-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter, was a trademark effort reflective of the stellar chemistry he built last season with quarterback Matthew Stafford, who only seemed to enjoy any success when targeting Kupp on Thursday night. Kupp's next opportunity to build on his individually memorable season-opening performance comes in a Week 2 home clash with the Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 18.

  • Stefon Diggs WR | WAS

Bills' Stefon Diggs: Long TD in season-opening win

Diggs brought in eight of nine targets for 122 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 31-10 win over the Rams on Thursday night.

Diggs' near-perfect opening night was punctuated by a 53-yard touchdown grab down the right side of the field in the fourth quarter that served as the final score of the night. Diggs flew by Jalen Ramsey on a play where the star cornerback appeared to be expecting deep help, a microcosm of a night where almost everything went right for Buffalo. Diggs' reception, yardage and target totals were all team highs, affording him no shortage of momentum going into a Week 2 home battle against the Titans on Monday night, Sept. 19.

  • Seahawks' Marquise Goodwin: Not on injury report

Goodwin (hamstring) wasn't listed on the Seahawks' injury report Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

After missing the entire preseason slate due to a hamstring injury, Goodwin managed to avoid being listed on Seattle's first practice report of the campaign. With his health not in question, he's poised to be in the mix for snaps and targets with Dee Eskridge, Penny Hart and Dareke Young behind the team's top two wide receivers Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.

  • Rams' Lance McCutcheon: Not playing Thursday

McCutcheon (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Bills, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

As an undrafted rookie, McCutcheon made an improbable run to the Rams' 53-man roster based off impressive performances throughout the offseason program, training camp and the preseason. However, even with No. 3 wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) unavailable Week 1, McCutcheon's pro debut will have to wait at least one game. Behind the top duo of Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson, L.A.'s other active options at the position are Ben Skowronek, Tutu Atwell and Brandon Powell.
