Collin Johnson WR | LV
Giants' Collin Johnson: Not at practice Wednesday
Johnson (hamstring) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Johnson picked up a hamstring injury late last week and was ultimately ruled out for the Giants' divisional showdown with the Eagles. Now, the 2020 fifth-round pick starts off Week 17 prep as a non-participant due to the same injury, putting his status for Sunday's matchup with the Bears in serious jeopardy.

Devin Duvernay WR | ARI
Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Not back at practice
Duvernay (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
The slot receiver missed every practice last week and was listed as doubtful before he was ultimately inactive in Baltimore's loss to Cincinnati. Coming off his first absence of the season, Duvernay isn't looking great to make it back for Week 16. He's averaging only 2.2 catches for 18.1 yards per game, but he leads the NFL with 360 punt return yards, and he also handles kickoffs most of the time. Last week, James Proche and Tylan Wallace took on return duties for Baltimore.

Tim Patrick WR | NYJ
Broncos' Tim Patrick: In line to land on COVID list
Denver is expected to place Patrick on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Once Patrick is officially placed on the list, he'll need to either be deemed asymptomatic of the virus or turn in two consecutive negative tests 24 hours apart in order to make himself available for Sunday's game against the Chargers. If Patrick isn't cleared to play this weekend, Kendall Hinton would likely replace him as the No. 3 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.
-
Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Limited at practice
Samuel (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Samuel has been in and out of the lineup throughout the season, with a minimal role even when active. He missed the past two games and isn't likely to do much against the Eagles even if he plays this Sunday.
-
Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Picks up new injury
Toney missed Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Toney has mostly looked good when healthy this season but now adds a shoulder to his growing list of rookie-year injuries and ailments. He had previously been listed on Giants reports with hamstring, ankle, thumb, quad, oblique and shoulder injuries, in addition to two stints on the COVID-19 list. Toney led the Giants with nine targets (finishing with four catches for 28 yards) in last Sunday's loss to Philadelphia, logging 51 percent of snaps in his first appearance since Week 11. He could be similarly busy this Sunday in Chicago if his shoulder injury isn't serious, but the Giants' passing game has been horribly inefficient under backups quarterbacks Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm.

Adam Thielen WR | PIT
Vikings' Adam Thielen: Getting surgery, placed on IR
Minnesota placed Thielen (ankle) on injured reserve Wednesday. The wide receiver will soon undergo surgery and is facing a one-month recovery timeline, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Thielen might have a chance to play if the Vikings make a deep playoff run, but their currently odds of making the postseason would seem to be less than 50-50 at the moment as Minnesota prepares for a Week 17 matchup with division-leading Green Bay. K.J. Osborn will be Minnesota's No. 2 receiver to close out the season, with Dede Westbrook likely handling the No. 3 role and Dan Chisena and Ihmir Smith-Marsette providing depth. Meanwhile, Justin Jefferson has seen 39.5 percent of Minnesota's targets the past four weeks, averaging 7.5 catches for 106.0 yards and 0.75 touchdowns on 12.8 targets.
-
Brandin Cooks WR | SF
Texans' Brandin Cooks: Back at practice
Cooks (illness) was present for Wednesday's practice, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The same applies to kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn, which sets the stage for the duo, among others, to be officially activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. Cooks was unavailable for this past Sunday's 41-29 win over the Chargers.
-
DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Not targeted in win
Parker failed to draw a target while playing 63 percent of the Dolphins' snaps on offense in Monday's 20-3 win over the Saints.
The Week 16 contest marked the first time in eight appearances this season that Parker hadn't been targeted. Meanwhile, rookie wideout Jaylen Waddle drew a team-high 12 targets, with the large disparity likely a result of Parker being shadowed by star cornerback Marshon Lattimore for a good portion of the game while Tua Tagovailoa took what was given to him underneath. Tagovailoa's rapport with Waddle from their time together at Alabama along with the quarterback's inclination for short-yardage, high-percentage throws has seemingly resulted in Parker dropping to second in the pecking order in the Miami receiver room.
-
Jamison Crowder WR | WAS
Jets' Jamison Crowder: Not practicing Wednesday
Crowder (calf) won't practice Wednesday, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
Per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, head coach Robert Saleh said Crowder has about a 50-50 chance to return to action Sunday against the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Elijah Moore (quadriceps) faces similar odds to return from both the reserve/COVID-19 list and injured reserve ahead of the Week 17 matchup. The statuses of both receivers will likely hinge on what either is able to do in practice over the next two days.
