CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL
Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Doesn't practice Thursday
Lamb didn't practice Thursday due to an ankle sprain, David Moore of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Lamb sustained the injury during Wednesday's session, limiting his practice reps. After failing to log any activity Thursday, though, his status now appears murky just three days before a Week 9 matchup with the Broncos. Lamb will have one more chance to get on the field before the Cowboys post their final practice report of the week, but he seems likely to exit it with at least a questionable designation.

Dante Pettis WR | SF
Giants' Dante Pettis: Not practicing again
Pettis (shoulder) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The Giants listed Pettis as a non-participant on their official Week 9 report for the second straight day, after he sustained a left shoulder injury in Monday's loss to the Chiefs. The lack of practice reps this week seemingly put Pettis' availability for Sunday's game against the Raiders in peril, but the Giants will see what he's able to do at Friday's session before gauging where he stands heading into the weekend. If active Sunday, Pettis could have the chance to fill a key role in the Giants' passing game. Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) appears to be trending toward sitting out Week 9, while the statuses of fellow wideouts Kenny Golladay (knee), Kadarius Toney (thumb) and John Ross (quadriceps) are up in the air.

Sterling Shepard WR | NYJ
Giants' Sterling Shepard: Goes down as DNP on practice report
Shepard (quadriceps) was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's estimated practice report, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Per Salomone, Shepard was in attendance for the session and worked out with the team's training staff, but he apparently wasn't able to mix into any team drills. The Giants will wait and see what Shepard is able to do at the team's final practice of the week Friday before assessing his chances of playing Sunday against the Raiders, but at this stage, the wideout looks to be trending toward being inactive for a fourth time this season.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Limited again at practice
Toney (thumb) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
For the second day in a row, Toney's reps were capped while he tends to a laceration on his thumb, an injury that forced him to briefly check out of Monday's 20-17 loss to the Chiefs. Ideally, the rookie first-round pick will upgrade to full activity Friday to clear up any concern about his status for Sunday's game against the Raiders. If he remains limited Friday, however, Toney will likely carry a questionable designation into the weekend.
-
Jalen Reagor WR | MIA
Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Manages limited practice showing
Reagor (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Reagor took a meaningful step forward in his recovery from the ankle injury he sustained in the Week 8 win over the Lions, as he had previously been a non-participant for the Eagles' first Week 9 practice. The coaching staff will see what Reagor is able to do at Friday's practice before determining whether or not he'll carry an injury designation into this weekend's game against the Chargers.
-
Ty Montgomery WR | NE
Saints' Ty Montgomery: Misses practice Thursday
Montgomery (hamstring) missed practice Thursday, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Montgomery has missed practice the last two days, which doesn't bode well for his availability Week 9 against the Falcons. If Montgomery can't go Sunday, Kenny Stills will likely see added opportunity.
-
Russell Gage WR | SF
Falcons' Russell Gage: In clear for Week 9
Gage (groin) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports.
Gage was limited by the groin injury in the Falcons' first Week 9 practice Wednesday, but the team never seemed to have much concern about his health heading into Sunday's game in New Orleans. His ability to take every rep Thursday clears the way for him to suit up this weekend, when Gage should profile as one of the top options in the passing game sans Calvin Ridley (personal), who will remain out for a second straight contest while he takes time away from football to focus on his mental health. Ridley's absence didn't pay any immediate dividends for Gage in the Falcons' Week 8 loss to the Panthers; despite playing 34 of the team's 50 offensive snaps (68 percent), the slot receiver failed to draw a single target.
-
Cole Beasley WR | NYG
Bills' Cole Beasley: Remains sidelined Thursday
Beasley (ribs) missed practice again Thursday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
Beasley, who briefly left this past Sunday's win over the Dolphins, now has missed back-to-back practices. What he's able to do Friday therefore should be telling with regard to the slot receiver's chances of suiting up Sunday against the Jaguars. Beasley is coming off a 10-catch, 110-yard effort (on 13 targets) in Buffalo's Week 8 win over Miami.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside WR | ATL
Eagles' J.J. Arcega-Whiteside: Misses practice Thursday
Arcega-Whiteside (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Arcega-Whiteside missed practice Wednesday as well after being injured in the Eagles' Week 8 win over the Lions. A missed Thursday session is usually a troublesome indicator with respect to potential gameday availability, and although Arcega-Whiteside has been a non-factor on offense, he would potentially enjoy a larger role in Week 9 if Jalen Reagor (ankle) were to sit out against the Chargers.

Zay Jones WR | HOU
Raiders' Zay Jones: Steps into starting role
The Raiders list Jones as a starting receiver along with Bryan Edwards and Hunter Renfrow on the team's updated Week 9 depth chart, Case Keefer of the Las Vegas Sun reports.
Renfrow will serve as the Raiders' top option out of the slot, while Jones joins Edwards as a starter at either perimeter spot. Through the Raiders' first seven games, Jones has held a bit role in the passing attack, as he's commanded no more than two targets in any contest while stringing together a 6-115-1 receiving line. Jones should be in store for a sizable uptick in snaps if not targets, though he'll still likely remain a lesser priority in the passing game than Renfrow, Edwards and tight end Darren Waller.
