Keke Coutee WR | MIA
Keke Coutee: Heads to practice squad
Coutee reverted to Indianapolis' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Coutee made his first appearance of the 2021 season in Week 7 against the 49ers, hauling in one catch for five yards. He was only on the field for four offensive snaps.
-
Tyler Johnson WR | DAL
Buccaneers' Tyler Johnson: Makes use of two opportunities
Johnson brought in both targets for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 38-3 win over the Bears on Sunday.
The second-year wideout logged a hefty 49 snaps overall, good for a 67 percent share. However, Johnson saw the bulk of Tom Brady's attention diverted to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, who accounted for 14 of the quarterback's 20 completions, 187 of his 211 yards and all four of his touchdown passes. With Antonio Brown (ankle) potentially back for a Week 8 road battle against the Saints, Johnson figures to see his time on the field dwindle from Sunday's level before long.
-
Keith Kirkwood WR | BAL
Keith Kirkwood: Returns to practice squad
Kirkwood reverted to Carolina's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Kirkwood hauled in his first three catches of the season in Week 7 against the Giants, logging 29 of his team's 64 offensive snaps in the loss. He was also on the field for 10 special-teams snaps.

D'Wayne Eskridge WR | MIA
Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Could return Week 8
Eskridge has visited a concussion specialist in Florida and has a chance to return to action Sunday against the Jaguars, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Eskridge has been sidelined since Week 1 due to his head injury and been on injured reserve since Oct. 7, so he'll have a few chances to make an impression on the practice field this week, assuming the Seahawks designate him to return from IR. If he's able to complete all the phases of the concussion protocol in time for Sunday's game, the 2021 second-round pick likely will have to settle for no better than No. 4 on the wide receiver depth chart behind DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Freddie Swain, and ahead of Penny Hart.
-
Ty Montgomery WR | NE
Saints' Ty Montgomery: Could see backfield work Monday
Montgomery saw some work with the Saints' running backs at practice this past week, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Montgomery didn't record any touches on offense Week 5, but with Devine Ozigbo currently the roster's only healthy running back behind Alvin Kamara heading into Monday night's game, it's possible that the versatile Montgomery, who the Saints have been using at WR, could see some backfield touches versus Seattle. That said, as long as Kamara is available, he's in line to log the bulk of the team's carries.
-
Tre'Quan Smith WR | DET
Saints' Tre'Quan Smith: Activated for MNF
Smith (hamstring) has been activated off IR in advance of Monday night's game against the Seahawks,Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
With Michael Thomas (ankle) still on the PUP list and Deonte Harris (hamstring) out Monday, Smith has a chance to step back into a key role in his first game action of the season. Also in the Saints' Week 7 wideout mix are Marquez Callaway, Kenny Stills and Ty Montgomery, but provided he avoids any setbacks, Smith figures to see his share of targets versus Seattle.
-
Davante Adams WR | LAR
Packers' Davante Adams: Likely out Thursday
Adams said earlier this season that he is vaccinated, which means his placement on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday is due to a positive test result. The wideout will need to test negative twice 24 hours apart before being activated, which is unlikely to happen before Thursday's game at Arizona, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
It's a tough break for Adams and the Packers on a short week of preparation, and he's now expected to miss his first game of the season. The 28-year-old would need to produce two negative tests by Wednesday to travel with the team to Arizona, while if a second negative test came Thursday he'd need to travel separately. However, Adams is likely to be out of the picture against the Cardinals, so Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Robert Tonyan should be more involved in the passing game. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is also a candidate to return from injured reserve this week.
-
Olamide Zaccheaus WR | ATL
Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Hauls in only target Sunday
Zaccheaus caught his only target for 13 yards during Sunday's 30-28 win over the Dolphins.
Zaccheaus reverted back to his reserve role with Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage active for Week 7. The 24-year-old wideout played 12 offensive snaps and finished sixth on the team in receiving. Atlanta's offense has started to pick up steam, scoring 30, 27 and 30 points in their last three contests, so if they are able to continue to put points on the board and move the ball, then more looks may start to come the receivers way. But until that happens, Zaccheaus likely won't be a viable fantasy option in standard leagues.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Bothered by hamstring issue
Hopkins was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report with a hamstring injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Hopkins has missed some practice time this season on account of a rib injury and an illness, but the hamstring issue appears to be a new concern. The wideout seemingly wasn't affected by any injury in his first matchup with his former team (Houston) this past weekend, as he corralled seven of his nine targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 31-5 victory. Arizona may just be listing Hopkins as a non-participant on its first Week 8 practice report for maintenance-related reasons, as the Cardinals face a quick turnaround with a matchup against Green Bay on tap Thursday.
-
Brandon Aiyuk WR | SF
49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Nearly invisible in start
Aiyuk started and was on the field for 40 offensive snaps (71 percent), but he only finished with one reception (one target) for six yards in Sunday's 30-18 loss to the Colts.
The 49ers are in desperate need of a second receiving threat behind Deebo Samuel (100 yards and a touchdown Sunday) while George Kittle (calf) mends on IR, but Aiyuk continues to provide little to no help despite getting significant playing time. The club tried explaining away the second-year wideout's struggles this year with a preseason injury, but he has been off the injury report for the last two games and had the recent bye week to rest up. Aiyuk simply isn't getting the job done; unlike the 49ers, fantasy managers have no incentive to wait around until he does.
