  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Practicing again Friday

McLaurin (hamstring) is participating in position drills at Friday's practice, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

McLaurin was a limited participant at Thursday's session, and he looks to be working in that capacity again Friday, at a minimum. The 26-year-old had 25 catches for 354 yards and three touchdowns across the first four games of the season, but he has only eight receptions for 74 yards and zero scores over his past two contests. McLaurin started off this week not practicing, though he now seems on track to play Sunday at Green Bay after participating in two straight sessions.

  • Colts' Parris Campbell: Recovering from foot surgery

Campbell underwent foot surgery Friday that could potentially end his season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Campbell landed on injured reserve earlier this week with the foot injury, and he's expected to face an extended absence following surgery. The 24-year-old caught 10 passes for 162 yards and one touchdown in five games this season. In his absence, Michael Pittman, Zach Pascal and T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) should continue operating as Indianapolis' top three wideouts.

  • Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Snap count remains up

Schwartz caught two of three targets for 22 yards, had one carry for minus-2 yards, and returned one kickoff for 26 yards in Thursday's 17-14 win over Denver.

Schwartz appears to have escaped the doghouse following a Week 2 mistake that resulted in a turnover and led to quarterback Baker Mayfield's left shoulder injury. The rookie was targeted just four times with decreased playing time from Week 2 to Week 5, but Schwartz reversed that trend over the last two games. Schwartz caught four of six targets for 33 yards the last two weeks while playing 42 percent of the offensive snaps. Part of Thursday's usage was related to the pre-game groin injury suffered by Donovan Peoples-Jones, who didn't leave the bench. Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry are the clear top two wideouts with Schwartz, Peoples-Jones and Rashard Higgins fighting for the remaining available targets.

  • Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Set for MRI on groin injury

Peoples-Jones will have an MRI on Friday after suffering a groin injury in pregame warmups before Thursday's win over Denver, The Athletic reports.

Peoples-Jones did not play in the game after he was hurt in warmups. On the same night in which Jarvis Landry (knee) made his first appearance since Week 2 and then left again with a sore knee, and Odell Beckham played with a shoulder issue, the Browns' receiving corps suffered another setback with Peoples-Jones, who combined for 11 targets the prior two games.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Five grabs in Week 7 loss

Sutton secured all five targets for 68 yards in the Broncos' 17-14 loss to the Browns on Thursday night.

The star wideout tied with Noah Fant for second on the team in receptions, and his yardage total, fueled by a team-high 31-yard grab, easily paced either club on the night. Sutton did see a notable drop from the 14 targets he'd logged Week 6 against the Raiders, but it wasn't unexpected on a night when Teddy Bridgewater only put up 33 attempts and targeted nine different players. Sutton will look to bounce back with a bump in his overall numbers against the vulnerable Washington secondary in a Week 8 home matchup a week from Sunday.

  • Browns' Odell Beckham: Plays through shoulder issue

Beckham (shoulder) secured two of six targets for 23 yards in the Browns' 17-14 win over the Broncos on Thursday.

Beckham somewhat surprisingly garnered active status after a report surfaced earlier in the day he was expected to sit out due to his sprained right shoulder, and he appeared to aggravate the injury during the game while diving for a pass. The wideout didn't end up missing a notable amount of time, but with Case Keenum running a fairly conservative game plan and D'Ernest Johnson consistently eating up chunks of yardage on the ground, the entire pass-catching corps generated underwhelming numbers. Beckham now has a trio of two-catch, sub-30-yard efforts in his last four games, something that he and fantasy managers will hope a few extra days of rest and the possible return of Mayfield will correct in a Week 8 home matchup versus the Steelers on Oct. 31.

  • Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Hurts groin pregame

Peoples-Jones injured his groin during pregame warmups and is questionable to play Thursday against the Broncos, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

On the same night in which Jarvis Landry (knee) is making his first appearance since Week 2 and Odell Beckham guts out a shoulder issue, the Browns' receiving corps suffered another setback with Peoples-Jones, who combined for 11 targets the past two games. It's unclear if Peoples-Jones will make an appearance, but Beckham, Landry, Rashard Higgins and Anthony Schwartz now are the wide receivers at Case Keenum's disposal Thursday.

  • Browns' Odell Beckham: Suits up Thursday night

Beckham (shoulder) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Broncos.

Though listed as active, it remains to be seen if Beckham will be able to handle his normal allotment of snaps alongside Jarvis Landry (knee), who was activated from IR in advance of Thursday's contest. With starting QB Baker Mayfield (shoulder) out, the WR duo -- as well as Donovan Peoples-Jones -- will be catching passes from Case Keenum. Meanwhile, both of the team's top running backs (Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt) are sidelined by calf injuries, meaning that Cleveland's banged-up offense will feature a backfield trio of D'Ernest Johnson, Demetric Felton and John Kelly. Between the shoulder issue that previously clouded his TNF status and the rash of injuries his team is currently dealing with, Beckham profiles as a speculative Week 7 fantasy lineup option.

  • Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Logs full practice Thursday

    Edwards (hamstring) practiced fully Thursday.

The same applies to Henry Ruggs (knee), who was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday along with Edwards. As a result, the Raiders are set to have their top two wideouts available for Sunday's game against the Eagles, who have surrendered an average of 211.8 passing yards (fifth-fewest in the league) through six contests. Over his last three outings, Edwards has combined for five catches on 14 targets for 93 yards, including a 2/67/0 stat line (on four targets) in Las Vegas' Week 6 win over the Broncos.

  • Alex Erickson WR | HOU

Panthers' Alex Erickson: Returns to practice

Erickson (concussion) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice.

The wide receiver suffered the head injury in Week 6 versus the Vikings, ultimately exiting the contest and not returning to practice until Thursday. He still needs to be cleared by team doctors before suiting up against the Giants in Week 7. Used mostly as a return specialist, Erickson has only two catches for 42 yards in six games this season.
