Dan Chisena WR | CAR
Vikings' Dan Chisena: Moves to injured reserve
Chisena (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Vikings' official site reports.
The specifics of the injury remain unclear, but Chisena will open the regular season on injured reserve. The 24-year-old will miss at least the first three games of the season for Minnesota.

Chris Moore WR | BAL
Chris Moore: Returns to Houston
Houston signed Moore to their practice squad Wednesday.
Moore jumps back to the organization with whom he spent the summer and was released by a day earlier. Based on the how the Texans' 53-man roster currently looks in addition to the five receivers kept, the team may not be done altering the position group ahead of Week 1. General manager Nick Caserio said Anthony Miller (shoulder) is expected to return "at some point this season," which doesn't bode well for him being ready to go for at least the team's first few games. Additionally, Houston kept Andre Roberts, a Pro Bowl kick returner who hasn't historically been much of a factor on offense and didn't play in a preseason game due to a knee injury. All that suggests Moore, who has a prior history in Baltimore with Houston head coach David Culley, could be on the roster come Week 1.

Cornell Powell WR | PIT
Cornell Powell: Added to Chiefs' practice squad
Powell was added to the Chiefs' practice squad Wednesday, Charles Goldman of USA Today reports.
Powell was selected by Kansas City in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft but passed through waivers unclaimed after he failed to land a spot on the 53-man roster. He recorded 882 yards and seven touchdowns in his final season at Clemson and will remain with the Chiefs as part of the team's initial practice squad.

Marcus Kemp WR | WAS
Chiefs' Marcus Kemp: Re-signs with Kansas City
Kemp was re-signed by Kansas City on Wednesday, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
Kemp was cut by the Chiefs on Tuesday, but he'll return to the team after Tyrann Mathieu (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. The 26-year-old receiver appeared in 11 games with the Chiefs and Dolphins last year and hauled in his lone target for 11 yards.

Richie James WR | KC
49ers' Richie James: Reverts to IR
James (knee) reverted to the 49ers' injured reserve Wednesday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
James was expected to compete for a slot role in San Francisco's offense to begin the season, but he'll undergo a knee procedure that will force him to miss approximately six weeks. The 2018 seventh-round pick will remain in the organization after he went unclaimed on waivers, and he'll attempt to carve out a role once he returns to full health.
-
Alex Bachman WR | LAR
Giants' Alex Bachman: Reverts to injured reserve
Bachman (undisclosed) reverted to the Giants' injured reserve Wednesday.
Bachman was waived/injured by the Giants with an undisclosed injury Tuesday, but he'll remain in the organization after he went unclaimed on waivers. The wide receiver will be forced to miss at least the first three games of the season, although a timetable for his return hasn't yet been established.

Isaiah Hodgins WR | NYG
Isaiah Hodgins: Joins Buffalo's practice squad
Hodgins (knee) was added to the Bills' practice squad Wednesday.
Hodgins dealt with a knee injury late in camp and failed to secure a spot on Buffalo's 53-man roster, but he'll remain in the organization as part of the practice squad. The 2020 sixth-rounder totaled 86 receptions for 1,171 yards and 13 touchdowns in his final season at Oregon State but hasn't yet made his NFL debut.

Miles Boykin WR | CHI
Ravens' Miles Boykin: Placed on IR
The Ravens placed Boykin (hamstring) on injured reserve Wednesday, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports.
Boykin will be joined on IR by rookie first-round pick Rashod Bateman (groin), with the duo not eligible to return to action before Week 4. Following the transactions, the team's wideout corps currently features Marquise Brown, Sammy Watkins, James Proche, Devin Duvernay and Tylan Wallace.
-
Rashod Bateman WR | BAL
Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Placed on IR
The Ravens placed Bateman (groin) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Miles Boykin (hamstring) will join Bateman on IR, meaning that the two receivers won't be eligible to return to action any sooner than Week 4. In the meantime, the team's wideout corps is currently comprised of Marquise Brown, Sammy Watkins, James Proche, Devin Duvernay and Tylan Wallace. Bateman is recovering from the core-muscle surgery he required in mid-August.

Brandon Aiyuk WR | SF
49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: No activity Wednesday
Aiyuk (hamstring) didn't take part in the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Aiyuk made just one appearance during exhibition season, gathering in one of three targets for three yards in preseason Week 2 against the Chargers. Since then, he picked up a minor hamstring injury that kept him out of the 49ers' preseason finale, as well as recent practices. There doesn't seem to be too much worry about his ability to be ready for Week 1 at Detroit, but his status nonetheless will be monitored over the next week and a half.
