Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Chargers' Josh Palmer: Three grabs in loss
Palmer secured three of five targets for 26 yards in the Chargers' 27-0 preseason loss to the Seahawks on Saturday night.
The rookie third-round pick enjoyed a productive showing by preseason standards, checking in third on the night in receptions, receiving yards and targets. Palmer also recorded a touchdown grab in preseason Week 2 against the 49ers, but the player he's battling for the No. 3 job, Tyron Johnson, notably notched a team-best 4-41 line Saturday night.

Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Returns to field
Sutton logged two receptions on three targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Rams.
Although Sutton progressed from individual to team drills early in training camp, this served as his first return to game action since Week 2 of the 2020 season. He quickly established himself as one of Teddy Bridgewater's favorite targets, as he recorded receptions of 19 and eight yards -- the latter of which went for a touchdown. The results of the contest were certainly encouraging, but most importantly it appears that Sutton will be ready to go for Week 1 of the regular season against the Giants thanks to his work in the final preseason contest. Sutton may be on a snap count early in the campaign, though there has been no formal decision in that regard.

Dez Fitzpatrick WR | LAC
Titans' Dez Fitzpatrick: Only one catch Saturday
Fitzpatrick caught one of two targets for 28 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Bears.
With the Titans' top three receivers -- A.J. Brown (knee), Julio Jones (undisclosed) and Josh Reynolds -- all getting the night off, Fitzpatrick had one last golden opportunity to make a splash before Week 1. Instead, his only catch didn't come until the second half, while Cameron Batson led the team's WRs in receiving and hauled in his second TD of the preseason. Fitzpatrick still seems ticketed for a spot on the 53-man roster after being selected in the fourth round of the 2021 Dradt, but he hasn't done anything so far to indicate he'll be a fantasy factor as a rookie.

A.J. Brown WR | NE
Titans' A.J. Brown: Misses entire preseason
Brown (knee) didn't play in Saturday's preseason defeat to the Bears, according to Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com.
Brown kicked off the offseason with surgery on both of his knees, which sidelined him from OTAs and mandatory minicamp. He was reported to be 100 percent at the start of training camp, but a knee issue flared up in mid-August, leading to sporadic showings at practice and no exhibition action whatsoever. Thus, when the Titans take on the Cardinals in Week 1, it'll mark the first time the trio of Brown, Derrick Henry and Julio Jones will play in a game as teammates, assuming the latter has put his own August health concern behind him.

D'Wayne Eskridge WR | MIA
Seahawks' D'Wayne Eskridge: To make pro debut
GM John Schneider said Eskridge will play 10-to-15 snaps during Saturday's preseason contest against the Chargers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Eskridge's draft pedigree as a 2021 second-round pick gave him a better than normal chance to open his rookie season as the Seahawks' No. 3 wide receiver behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett (groin). But a toe injury lingered into training camp, forcing Eskridge to spend three weeks on the PUP list. Since getting back on the practice field Aug. 17, he progressed enough in a short amount of time to challenge Freddie Swain for the role of third receiver. An impressive showing from Eskridge in Seattle's exhibition finale could be enough to lock up the job.

James Proche WR | TEN
Ravens' James Proche: Scores TD in blowout
Proche caught each of his four targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 37-3 preseason win over Washington.
Proche put his stamp on the route with an emphatic contested catch in the end zone for a 20-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He's been one of the standouts of Baltimore training camp, but he's still getting most of his work with backups even as the Ravens deal with a number of injuries at wide receiver. Proche still seems more likely to get Week 1 touches on special teams, if at all, but it is possible he gets some snaps on offense, especially if Marquise Brown (hamstring) and/or Sammy Watkins (undisclosed) don't make it back for the opener.
-
Tylan Wallace WR | CLE
Ravens' Tylan Wallace: Scores TD
Wallace caught each of his three targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason win over Washington.
The rookie fourth-round pick didn't see any targets on Lamar Jackson's lone drive, instead hooking up with backup QB Tyler Huntley, who threw for 285 yards and four touchdowns. The Baltimore offense is banged up right now, but Wallace still figures to be no higher than fourth or fifth at wide receiver when the team travels to Las Vegas in Week 1.
-
Devin Duvernay WR | ARI
Ravens' Devin Duvernay: Looks sharp in final tune-up
Duvernay caught four of five target for 47 yards in Saturday's preseason game against Washington.
He saw an incomplete pass on Lamar Jackson's only drive before going 4-for-4 with a red-hot Tyler Huntley at the helm. Duvernay seemingly entered training camp fourth or fifth on the depth chart, but with Rashod Bateman sidelined by core muscle surgery and Marquise Brown and Sammy Watkins dealing with lesser injuries, the 2020 third-round pick could be second or third in line for targets when the Ravens travel to Las Vegas in Week 1.
-
Deon Cain WR | BUF
Ravens' Deon Cain: Undergoes concussion evaluation
Cain (head) was evaluated for a concussion during Saturday's preseason contest against Washington.
Cain appeared in two games with Pittsburgh in 2020 before landing on the Ravens' practice squad. He was signed to a reserve/future contract this offseason and is likely to find himself on a practice squad during the regular season.

Racey McMath WR | DAL
Titans' Racey McMath: Tests positive for COVID-19
McMath tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.
McMath was placed in protocols ahead of Saturday's preseason contest against the Bears, but now it has been confirmed that he has tested positive for the virus. The 2021 sixth-round pick has been competing for a spot in a wide-open receiver room behind A.J. Brown and Julio Jones, but a long stint on the COVID list may put an end his roster aspirations.
