  • Byron Pringle WR | WAS

Chiefs' Byron Pringle: Gets original-round tender

The Chiefs gave Pringle an original-round tender Wednesday, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.

The tender is a one-year contract for $2.18 million, with the Chiefs getting the right to match any offer sheet he might receive from another team. Pringle was undrafted coming out of college, so there's no compensation involved if he signs a deal with another team and the Chiefs decline to match. Pringle could be looking at a larger role in Kansas City in 2021, considering teammates Sammy Watkins and Demarcus Robinson are scheduled for free agency at the start of the new league year Wednesday.

Chiefs' Byron Pringle: Getting RFA tender

The Chiefs will give Pringle a restricted free-agent tender Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Pringle could take on a larger role in 2021 if the Chiefs lose Sammy Watkins and/or Demarcus Robinson in free agency. Kansas City's top wideouts currently under contract are Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman and now Pringle.

  • 49ers' Marquise Goodwin: Back in San Fran

Goodwin reverted to the 49ers from the Eagles on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Last year's trade was contingent upon him agreeing to a restructured contract with Philadelphia, but Goodwin never actually signed the new deal after he opted out of the 2020 season due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. He'll return to San Francisco and rejoin a familiar receiving corps, although it's not clear if the Niners have room for him, while the Eagles will add a seventh-round pick. During his seven-year career, Goodwin has been a field stretcher, reeling off 16.6 yards on his 140 catches across 75 games.

  • Tim Patrick WR | NYJ

Broncos' Tim Patrick: Receives second-round tender

The Broncos extended a second-round tender to restricted free agent Patrick (foot) on Tuesday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.

Denver's decision likely will stop other organizations from extending Patrick an offer sheet, but the wide receiver fared well in his third pro season in 2020, turning 79 targets into 51 catches for 742 yards and six touchdowns. Furthermore, 23 of his 90 career receptions have gone for 20-plus yards, so he does boast field-stretching ability, despite mostly uneven quarterback play through three campaigns.

  • Cam Sims WR | CAR

Football Team's Cam Sims: Gets low-round tender

Washington extended a low-round tender to restricted free agent Sims on Tuesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Sims went undrafted out of Alabama in 2018, so if he receives an offer sheet on the open market, Washington only has the right of first refusal and won't receive draft compensation if it opts not to match the deal. After putting up a 32-477-1 line on 49 targets in 16 games last season, Sims may draw some interest from other organizations, especially considering nine of his receptions went for 20-plus yards.

  • Marvin Jones WR | DET

Jaguars' Marvin Jones: Added by Jaguars

Jones has agreed to a two-year, $14.5 million deal with the Jaguars, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jones' deal with Jacksonville reportedly includes $9.2 million fully guaranteed. At first glance, this looks like a pretty solid value for the team, with the 31-year-old having logged a 76/978/9 stat line for the Lions in 2020. Jones joins a wideout corps that also includes DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault and an offense that's soon expected to include next month's projected No. 1 overall draft pick, QB Trevor Lawrence.

  • Zach Pascal WR | NYG

Colts' Zach Pascal: Extended second-round tender

The Colts placed a second-round tender on Pascal on Tuesday, Stephen Holder of The Athletic reports.

Any team that gives Pascal an offer sheet would have to give up a second-round pick if Indianapolis decides not to match, which means the restricted free agent will almost certainly remain a Colt next season. Whether Pascal chooses to sign the tender or negotiate a separate contract with the Colts remains to be seen.

  • Chris Moore WR | BAL

    Texans' Chris Moore: Joins Texans

Moore signed a one-year deal, worth up to $2 million with the Texans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Moore has spent the entirety of his five-year career with Baltimore to this point, combining to record 45 receptions for 511 yards and four touchdowns in that span. Supplementing his value on the offensive side of the ball, Moore also has served as a kick returner and could fill that role with the Texans in 2021.

  • Tim Patrick WR | NYJ

Broncos' Tim Patrick: Anticipating second-rounder tender

The Broncos are expected to place a second-round tender on restricted free agent Patrick (foot), Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.

The move would help ensure Patrick remains a Bronco in 2021, as Denver would have the opportunity to match any offer the receiver attracts on the open market. Furthermore, any bargaining team would have to surrender a second-round draft pick to the Broncos in order to acquire Patrick's services. During his third pro season in 2020, Patrick composed three separate 100-yard receiving performances. His six receiving touchdowns, meanwhile, were twice as many as any other player on the team. Courtland Sutton's return from a torn ACL likely would dampen Patrick's target share. Then again, Patrick may benefit from more single-coverage situations if he's operating opposite Sutton and promising sophomore wideout Jerry Jeudy.

  • Cowboys' Cedrick Wilson: Tendered by Dallas

The Cowboys are placing an original-round tender on Wilson, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Wilson will play under at least a $2.13 million salary next season, and the Cowboys will have the option of matching any offer sheet he receives. The 2018 sixth-round pick emerged as a valuable depth receiver last season, and he flashed big-play ability on occasion (5-107-2 versus Seattle in Week 3). Of course, behind Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, Wilson's offensive opportunities could be few and far between.
