  • River Cracraft WR | WAS

49ers' River Cracraft: Signed off practice squad

Cracraft has been promoted to the 49ers' active roster from the team's practice squad, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

During Thursday night's lopsided 34-17 defeat to Green Bay, Cracraft registered his first career start in 11 NFL appearances. The Washington State product was only able to compile two catches for 13 yards on his five targets against the Packers, but he's been added to the active roster as a depth option with the 49ers continuing to deal with a myriad of wide receiver injuries. Deebo Samuel is still coping with a hamstring issue despite being activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list last Friday, while Kendrick Bourne landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, necessitating the addition of Cracraft to the 53-man roster.

  • Adam Humphries WR | HOU

Titans' Adam Humphries: Still not practicing

Humphries (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report.

Humphries was knocked from the Titans' Week 8 loss at Cincinnati due to a concussion and hasn't practiced or played in the interim. Granted, that translates to just one game missed, but with no reps to kick off this week either, he hasn't made much, if any, progress through the protocol for head injuries. The Titans may very well rule Humphries out in advance of Thursday's contest against the Colts.

  • A.J. Brown WR | NE

Titans' A.J. Brown: DNP on Monday

Brown (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate.

Brown has been contending with a bone bruise in his knee for the better part of the past two months, but he's still played in each of the Titans' last five games, earning at least 82 percent of the offensive snaps in four of the them (and 71 percent in the other one). He's been a TD monster during that stretch en route to a 26-418-6 line on 40 targets. He'll look to ditch his injury designation prior to Thursday's game against the Colts.

  • Vyncint Smith WR | IND

Jets' Vyncint Smith: Ruled out for MNF

Smith (groin) is listed as inactive heading into the Jets' Monday night matchup against the Patriots.

The third-year receiver had suited up in each of the Jets' past three games, though he entered Monday listed as doubtful. A missed practice Friday hinted at the fact that Smith ultimately would prove unable to suit up after he had logged a limited session the day prior. The Limestone College product fielded 13 offensive snaps last Sunday against the Chiefs, meaning opportunities may slightly increase for No. 4 and 5 WR options Braxton Berrios and Jeff Smith.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabriel Davis: Finds end zone, third time in 2020

Davis caught four of five targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.

This is about the most production we'll see out of the promising rookie when all of Buffalo's skill players are healthy, which finally came to roost in Week 9. We like the Central Florida product's long-term promise, but before you go rushing to nab him off the waiver wire, remember there are several options in front of him and that Davis caught just two balls for 18 yards and no scores combined over the previous three games, and that was with John Brown unhealthy and tight end Dawson Knox out of the lineup. Still, a 19-275-3 option as mostly a fourth receiver shows Davis' time may be coming quicker more than most fourth-round rookies.

  • Jets' Jamison Crowder: Returns from two-game absence

Crowder (groin) is listed as active for Monday night's game against the Patriots.

Crowder thus returns to the mix after missing two straight games, and assuming no in-game setbacks he should remain busy catching passes from Joe Flacco, who's filling in for starting QB Sam Darnold (shoulder). In each of the four games that Crowder has played in this season, he's logged double-digit targets, leading to one eight-catch effort and three seven-catch outings.

  • Tony Brown WR | WAS

Tony Brown: Cut loose by Football Team

Washington waived Brown on Monday, Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic reports.

The Football Team opted to sign Jeff Badet to the active roster, and Brown was let go to clear up a roster spot. An undrafted rookie out of Colorado, Brown played just four offensive snaps in the only game he suited up this year. If Brown clears waivers, he'll likely land on the team's practice squad.

  • Steelers' Ray-Ray McCloud: Hauls in two passes

McCloud brought in both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 24-19 win over the Cowboys.

McCloud was on the field for a season-high 28 offensive snaps against Dallas, and he racked up 16 receiving yards, his highest total of the season. Most of McCloud's usage has come on special teams this season as he maintains an insignificant spot within Pittsburgh's receiving corps.

  • Steelers' James Washington: Finds end zone against Dallas

Washington brought in one of his two targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-19 win over the Cowboys.

Washington failed to log a reception in either of the past two games, but he made the most of his two targets as he reached the end zone for the third time this year. The 24-year-old was on the field for just 19 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps Sunday, and his role has decreased recently despite his touchdown in Dallas.

  • 49ers' Kendrick Bourne: Returns to COVID-19 list

The 49ers placed Bourne on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Bourne was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list last Wednesday after testing positive for the virus, but subsequent negative tests allowed him to be activated Friday. Now, however, it appears that new developments will require the 25-year-old wideout to return to the reserve list. With Deebo Samuel (hamstring) still banged up, Brandon Aiyuk, Richie James and Trent Taylor are currently the only fully available wideouts on San Francisco's roster.
