  • Colts' Adonai Mitchell: Set for decreased role in Week 5

Mitchell is expected to handle a more limited role on offense during Sunday's game against the Raiders, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Mitchell was given an opportunity at a larger role in Week 4 against the Rams due to the absence of Alec Pierce (concussion). Though the second-year wideout logged three catches (on four targets) for 96 yards, he had a 76-yard receiving touchdown wiped out after inadvertently dropping the football right before reaching the end zone. He then had a costly holding penalty in the fourth quarter that negated a Jonathan Taylor 53-yard rushing touchdown. Pierce will end up missing a second straight game Sunday against Las Vegas, but Fowler relays that veteran Ashton Dulin -- not Mitchell -- will likely see more snaps as the Colts' third receiver alongside Michael Pittman and Josh Downs.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Titans' Calvin Ridley: On track to play vs. Arizona

Ridley (knee/elbow) is trending toward being active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Ridley is working through knee and elbow injuries, which caused him to miss the first two practices of the week before logging a limited session Friday to earn the questionable tag. The veteran wideout looks to be available for Week 5, though official word on his status may not come until the Titans announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Ridley played just 27 snaps on offense during the Titans' Week 4 loss to the Texans, so he could see limited playing time against the Cardinals if he were to play, which would lead to more opportunities for Elic Ayomanor, Tyler Lockett, Chimere Dike and Van Jefferson. Ridley and the Titans offense are off to a slow start to the 2025 regular season, with the 2018 first-rounder tallying 10 catches (on 24 targets) for 141 yards through four games.

  • Trey Palmer WR | NO

Saints' Trey Palmer: Placed on injured reserve

The Saints placed Palmer (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday.

Palmer has yet to play this season due to hamstring and ankle issues, and he's now going to be sidelined for at least the Saints' next four contests.

  • Malik Nabers WR | NYG

Giants' Malik Nabers: Needs surgery for ACL, meniscus

Nabers will undergo surgery next week to repair a torn ACL and torn meniscus in his right knee, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Nabers tore both his ACL and meniscus during the second quarter of the Giants' Week 4 win over the Chargers. Schefter adds that the time off will allow Nabers to also recover from a partially torn labrum in his shoulder as well as a bout with turf toe, and the 2024 first-round pick is expected to return for the start of training camp in July. Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Jalin Hyatt and tight end Theo Johnson are expected to serve as the primary targets for rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart in Nabers' absence.

  • Cowboys' Jalen Cropper: Back with active roster

Cropper was elevated from the Cowboys' practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Cropper has been elevated to the Cowboys' active roster for the second consecutive game after playing five total snaps (four on special teams, one on offense) in the Week 4 tie with the Packers. He's likely to play a similar role in Sunday's matchup against the Jets, contributing on both offense and special teams.

  • Tay Martin WR | DET

Commanders' Tay Martin: Elevated from practice squad

The Commanders elevated Martin from their practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Martin will be elevated for the second straight week, as both Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin) have been ruled out. Martin caught one pass for 14 yards in addition to seeing playing time on special teams in last week's loss versus the Falcons and should have a similar role versus the Chargers.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Jaguars' Dyami Brown: Clear to return in Week 5

Brown (shoulder) was limited in practice Saturday but doesn't have a designation for Monday's game against the Chiefs.

Brown didn't suit up Week 4 due to a shoulder injury that he sustained one week prior, but after being listed as limited on five straight practice reports, the Jaguars have cleared him to return to action. Through parts of three games this season, he's tallied 10 catches (on 14 targets) for 116 yards and one touchdown and three carries for 15 yards.

  • James Proche WR | TEN

Titans' James Proche: Elevated from practice squad

The Titans elevated Proche from their practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus the Cardinals, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Proche should provide extra depth at receiver, as Bryce Oliver (knee) has been ruled out and Calvin Ridley is questionable (knee/elbow). This is the first time this season Tennessee has elevated Proche, and the team will be eligible to do so two more times.

  • Jonathan Mingo WR | DAL

Cowboys' Jonathan Mingo: Not ready to return

The Cowboys are not in line to activate Mingo (knee) from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Mingo was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, but after a week of limited practices, the wideout's return to action remains on hold. With CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot) both sidelined this week, the Cowboys will elevate Jalen Brooks and Jalen Moreno-Cropper from their practice squad.

  • Jalen Brooks WR | ARI

Cowboys' Jalen Brooks: Joins active roster

Brooks was elevated from the Cowboys' practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

The 2023 seventh-round pick from South Carolina failed to make the Cowboys' initial 53-man roster in late August, but he stuck around on the practice squad and has been elevated for Sunday's matchup against the Jets. Brooks most recently played for Dallas in 2024, catching 12 of 30 targets for 177 yards and one touchdown through 14 games. He'll likely play a depth role in the Cowboys' wide-receiver room in Week 5.
