  • Dolphins' Dee Eskridge: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Eskridge (concussion) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.

Eskridge missed practice entirely Monday, so his activity Wednesday represents a step in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game at Jacksonville. He'll still probably have to practice in full Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Stefon Diggs WR | NE

Patriots' Stefon Diggs: Not on Week 1 injury report

Diggs (knee) isn't listed on the Patriots' injury report ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener against the Raiders.

Diggs, who is bouncing back from a torn ACL he sustained Oct. 27, 2024, didn't suit up for any preseason games, but after avoiding placement on the PUP list ahead of training camp, he was a regular participant at practice this summer and now has been cleared for New England's opener. However, given the fact that the veteran wideout hasn't seen game action since sustaining his injury, it remains to be seen if he'll be on any kind of pitch count in Sunday's contest, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. On that subject, Diggs noted Wednesday, "I don't make the rules. We'll see how it goes, but I really hope not." In any case, the Patriots' Week 1 snaps counts will be of particular interest with regard to the pecking order in the team's WR corps as a whole, but in the case of Diggs it's data that will be key in evaluating the early-season prospects of a player who profiles as New England's WR1 when healthy and playing without any workload restrictions.

  • 49ers' Jordan Watkins: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Watkins (ankle) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

In the wake of the 49ers' preseason opener on Aug. 9, Watkins was revealed to have a high-ankle sprain that would require one month to recover from. Until he gets back on the practice field, he's an unlikely candidate to play on game days, and his listing on Friday's injury report may reveal that the rookie fourth-rounder isn't in line to make his pro debut Sunday at Seattle.

  • Jamal Agnew WR | ATL

Falcons' Jamal Agnew: Past oblique injury

Agnew (oblique) was not listed on the Falcons' injury report Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

An oblique injury prevented Agnew from suiting up for any of the Falcons' three preseason games. His absence from Wednesday's injury report indicates that he's past the issue and on track to suit up for Sunday's regular-season opener against Tampa Bay. The veteran wideout is expected to see most of his playing time on special teams as a returner on kickoffs and punts.

  • Ashton Dulin WR | IND

Colts' Ashton Dulin: Full go for Week 1

Dulin (concussion) did not appear on the Colts' injury report Wednesday.

Dulin was sidelined with a concussion to close the preseason, but he has now returned to a log a full practice Wednesday. The wide receiver will open the season as more of a special-teams option than an offensive asset, but he'll be active nonetheless in Sunday's matchup with the Dolphins.

  • Marvin Mims WR | DEN

Broncos' Marvin Mims: Ready for Week 1

Mims (thigh) practiced fully Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Mims exited practice last week with a thigh injury and didn't participate in this past Thursday's session but was able to return to the field Monday. With a full showing under his belt Wednesday, Mims is slated to play in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Titans, a contest in which the 2023 second-rounder is expected to work as the Broncos' WR2 behind top option Courtland Sutton.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Titans' Calvin Ridley: Good to go

Ridley isn't listed on the injury report for Week 1 at Denver, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.

Ridley missed some practice time in mid-to-late August due to what was described as general soreness. The Titans' top wideout is unsurprisingly ready for the season opener, facing a tough matchup against CB Patrick Surtain and the Denver defense in Cameron Ward's first NFL start.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Limited practice Wednesday

Williams (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday.

Williams suffered a concussion in the early stages of training camp but was able to return to practice within days of the injury. He then picked up a hamstring issue on Aug. 19 that has sidelined him in the interim. With his return to the field Wednesday, Williams is putting himself on a path to play Sunday against the Lions. Because fellow WRs Jayden Reed (foot, DNP) and Dontayvion Wicks (calf, LP) also are tending to health concerns at the moment, the Packers' receiving corps is in flux ahead of Week 1 action.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Limited Wednesday

Wicks (calf) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.

Wicks has been tending to a calf injury since at least July 29 that kept him out of most practices and the entire preseason slate until he got back on the field last Wednesday. With a cap remaining on his reps to kick off Week 1 prep, he remains at less than 100 percent along with rookie third-round pick Savion Williams (hamstring), while Jayden Reed (foot) didn't participate at all Wednesday. The Packers thus have key question marks at wide receiver in advance of Sunday's contest against the Lions.

  • Ravens' DeAndre Hopkins: Good to go for Week 1

Hopkins (knee) isn't on the Week 1 injury report.

Hopkins missed a bit of practice time here and there but was mostly available for training camp. He'll likely be the No. 3 receiver for Sunday's game at Buffalo, although the role could entail far more snaps than is typical for Baltimore's offense depending on the health of TE Isaiah Likely (ankle) and FB Patrick Ricard (calf). Likely isn't expected to play, while Ricard's availability is unknown.
