  • Isaiah Neyor WR | GB

    Isaiah Neyor: Waived by SF

Neyor was waived by the 49ers on Monday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Neyor was one of the players let go in a slew of moves by the 49ers, who recently bolstered their depth at wide receiver by signing veterans Robbie Chosen and Andy Isabella. If Neyor passes through waivers unclaimed, the rookie out of Nebraska would be free to sign with any team as a free agent.

  • Xavier Gipson WR | NYG

Jets' Xavier Gipson: Sidelined at least a week

Gipson (shoulder) won't practice this week heading into Saturday's preseason opener against the Packers, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.

Gipson hurt his shoulder Saturday and will miss at least a week of practice as a result, putting his availability for the Jets' first preseason game in doubt. Undrafted rookie Jamaal Pritchett brings a similar skill set to Gipson as a return man on special teams and occasional contributor at wide receiver on offense, so Pritchett could see the biggest uptick in opportunities during Gipson's absence.

  • Colts' Adonai Mitchell: Coming on after slow start

Mitchell stood out in the past week after continuing to struggle with drops in the first week of training camp, Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Mitchell had the lowest catch rate among wide receivers with at least 45 targets in his rookie season at 41.8 percent (23 catches on 55 targets). The 2024 second-round pick dropped at least four passes in the first week of training camp but turned things around by catching at least three deep passes in the Colts' last four practices. Mitchell's listed as a reserve behind starters Michael Pittman (groin), Josh Downs and Alec Pierce on the Colts' unofficial depth chart ahead of Thursday's preseason opener against the Ravens.

  • J.J. Jones WR | JAC

    J.J. Jones: Waived by Jags

Jones was waived by the Jaguars on Monday.

Jones signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent out of UNC in April. If the rookie wide receiver passes through waivers unclaimed, he will be free to sign with any team.

  • Josh Palmer WR | BUF

Bills' Joshua Palmer: Back at practice Monday

Palmer (groin) was present for practice Monday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Palmer didn't practice Sunday, but the fact that he suited up for Monday's session and was able to take part in individual drills, per Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News, suggests that his groin injury isn't anything major. It remains to be seen, however, if the wideout will see any action in Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants.

  • Patriots' Kendrick Bourne: Won't practice this week

Bourne (lower leg) won't practice in the week leading up to Friday's preseason opener against Washington, coach Mike Vrabel said Monday, Taylor Kyles of Patriots on CLNS reports.

Bourne had his leg rolled up on in practice this past Friday and will miss at least a week of practice as a result. The veteran wide receiver will likely be held out of Friday's preseason game due to the injury, though official confirmation on that front won't come until later in the week.

  • A.J. Brown WR | PHI

Eagles' A.J. Brown: No practice Monday

Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Monday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Brown previously missed the second half of Friday's practice and all of Sunday's session. He's present Monday, but only as an observer as the Eagles prepare for their preseason opener Thursday against Cincinnati.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | WAS

Commanders' Deebo Samuel: Back at practice

Samuel (hand) returned to practice Monday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

He hurt his hand/finger Saturday while diving for a catch at practice. The quick return to training camp confirms it's nothing serious, giving Samuel plenty of chances to continue building chemistry with QB Jayden Daniels while No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin remains away from the team. McLaurin has requested a trade, but the Commanders reportedly aren't considering it and prefer to continue extension negotiations instead.

  • Ladd McConkey WR | LAC

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Works off to the side Sunday

McConkey (undisclosed) took part in a walkthrough Sunday but then worked off to the side for the rest of practice, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman said Saturday that McConkey's injury is "extremely minor." The wideout has either been limited in practice or absent for nearly a week now, giving rookie Tre Harris a chance to see more passes from Justin Herbert. Harris and Quentin Johnston are competing for No. 2 WR status behind McConkey.

  • Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Catching McVay's attention

Rams coach Sean McVay said Saturday that Mumpfield is "one of the guys that has really shined" during training camp.

McVay was similarly pleased in April when the Rams drafted Mumpfield in the seventh round, saying on video that the Pittsburgh product was easily the best wideout left on the board. A key role early in the season is unlikely with Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington competing for the No. 3 job, but Mumpfield at least appears on track for a roster spot. Mumpfield was a four-year starter at Akron and Pittsburgh, finishing each season in the ranges of 44 to 63 receptions and 551 to 813 receiving yards, before his draft stock took a hit at the 2025 Combine when he ran a 4.59 40 at 5-foot-11, 186 pounds.
