Mike Washington Jr. RB | LV
Raiders' Mike Washington: Impresses on seven carries in win
Washington rushed seven times for 41 yards in the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
After Ashton Jeanty dealt with an ankle sprain for the previous month, it was unclear if the Raiders would dial things back with their star running back. Jeanty went on to handle a full workload, rushing 23 times for 102 yards, while also leading the team in catches and receiving yards with a 6-45-2 line. Washington looked good on his seven chances, but it's clear Jeanty is healthy, making Washington a mere bench stash in fantasy.

Gunnar Helm TE | TEN
Titans' Gunnar Helm: Secures four passes in loss
Helm caught four of five targets for 28 yards in the Titans' 23-10 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
Helm's five targets trailed both Carnell Tate and Wan'Dale Robinson, as the duo drew six targets apiece to lead the team in Week 1. Even more importantly for Helm's fantasy prospects, he ran 22 routes to Daniel Bellinger's five, suggesting he's well ahead of Bellinger on the depth chart as a pass catcher. Helm will be a lower-end TE2 next Sunday against the Eagles.

Woody Marks RB | HOU
Texans' Woody Marks: Splits snaps 50-50 with Montgomery
Marks rushed nine times for 42 yards and caught his lone target for a two-yard loss in the Texans' 36-31 loss to the Bills on Sunday.
While David Montgomery stole the headlines with three total touchdowns, Montgomery wasn't exactly efficient with his 20 carries, turning them into just 60 yards (3.0 YPC). Marks averaged 4.7 yards per carry with his nine attempts and actually out-snapped his veteran backfield mate 40 to 39 and ran 20 routes to Montgomery's 14, proving the 50-50 split talk from the summer to be true in the season opener. Marks remains an elite fantasy bench stash with some standalone value as an RB3 during bye weeks.

Ja'Kobi Lane WR | BAL
Ravens' Ja'Kobi Lane: Suffers fractured wrist
Lane (wrist) suffered a fractured wrist in Sunday's 41-23 win over the Colts and will undergo further testing Monday, including an MRI, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Lane is expected to face a multi-week absence due to the fractured wrist he sustained in his NFL debut, which led to the rookie third-round pick exiting the game after catching one of three targets for 11 yards. A more precise timetable for Lane's recovery will likely be established after the results of his MRI come in, but he will almost certainly sit out Week 2 against the Saints.

Josh Downs WR | IND
Colts' Josh Downs: Catches two passes in Week 1
Downs caught two of four targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 41-23 loss to the Ravens.
Downs' four targets tied Jonathan Taylor for fourth on the team behind Alec Pierce (six), Keenan Allen (six) and Tyler Warren (five), but it was notable that Downs led the team with 32 routes on Daniel Jones' 34 dropbacks. He was in the slot 78.8 percent of the time, and his 93.8 percent route participation suggests Downs is an every-down wideout this season after playing behind both Michael Pittman and Pierce in previous seasons. Downs should have better days moving forward and gets a Week 2 date with the Chiefs next Sunday.

Kirk Cousins QB | LV
Raiders' Kirk Cousins: Sidesteps pair of picks in win
Cousins completed 21 of 30 passes for 160 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions and rushed five times for minus-6 yards in the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
As his final line indicates, the majority of Cousins' passing line was far from scintillating from a fantasy perspective, but his three touchdown passes were an entirely different story. Cousins hit Jack Bech from 15 yards out for his first scoring strike of the afternoon in the first quarter, and his subsequent pair of TD passes both went for 13 yards apiece to Ashton Jeanty. Cousins' overall numbers also should be viewed within the context of Brock Bowers (knee) being unavailable, and reports indicate the veteran signal-caller could have the star tight end at his disposal for a Week 2 divisional road matchup against the Chargers next Sunday.

Malik Willis QB | MIA
Dolphins' Malik Willis: Uneven performance in team debut
Willis completed 15 of 27 passes for 200 yards with no touchdowns and one interception while adding six carries for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 27-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. He also committed a fumble recovered by Miami.
Willis' regular-season Dolphins debut did have its share of positives, including a pair of 30-yard completions to his top two receivers Caleb Douglas and Malik Washington, as well as a 25-yard strike to Chris Bell. However, Willis' third-quarter interception on a deep pass intended for Douglas led to a Raiders field goal, and with Miami down by 14 throughout the fourth quarter, the fifth-year signal-caller led the Dolphins to just 49 net yards over the final five drives. Willis seemingly faces a season-long uphill battle given his inexperienced pass-catching corps, but his mobility -- which enabled his 14-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter -- and arm strength will keep him in consideration as a deep-league option and occasional DFS dart throw. Willis and the Dolphins draw an unenviable Week 2 assignment, however, as they'll travel to San Francisco to face the 49ers next Sunday.

Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Falcons' Brian Robinson: Handles nine carries in Week 1
Robinson rushed nine times for 31 yards in the Falcons' 20-13 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
As expected, Robinson spelled Bijan Robinson and was a non-factor in the passing game, as Bijan out-carried him 21 to nine and out-targeted Brian 10 to zero. Brian has no standalone fantasy value but is a preferred bench stash as the next man up in the Atlanta backfield.
-
Matthew Golden WR | GB
Packers' Matthew Golden: Draws team-high 12 targets in win
Golden caught six of 12 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 39-22 loss to the Vikings.
With the Packers chasing the Vikings on the scoreboard much of the fourth quarter and getting virtually nothing from their running game all day, Jordan Love dropped back to pass 46 times, and Golden's 40 routes and 12 targets both led the team, as he lined up out wide 92.5 percent of the time. The second-year wideout's 28.6 percent target share is a great sign for his fantasy viability moving forward. Golden will be a WR3 with upside next Sunday on the road against the Jets.

Trey McBride TE | ARI
Cardinals' Trey McBride: Signature effort in Week 1 upset
McBride brought in nine of 12 targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 26-14 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
McBride was in the familiar position of leading the Cardinals across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets while also being on the receiving end of Jacoby Brissett's one touchdown pass. McBride recorded his three-yard scoring grab early in the fourth quarter, a critical touchdown considering it extended what had been a narrow 16-14 lead for Arizona. The talented tight end's performance was all the more impressive considering the presence of All-Pro safety Derwin James on the other side, and McBride will look to carry over his significant season-opening momentum into a Week 2 divisional home clash with the defending champion Seahawks next Sunday.
