Allar (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

The Steelers opted to carry four quarterbacks on the 53-man active roster. Allar will observe Sunday's regular-season opener in street clothes while Will Howard (coach's decision) serves as Pittsburgh's emergency third quarterback behind starter Aaron Rodgers and backup Mason Rudolph. Allar figures to be a healthy scratch for most, if not all, games this season unless one of Rodgers, Rudolph or Howard were to miss time.

Leonard (coach's decision) is inactive as the Colts' emergency third quarterback for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Leonard lost out on the QB2 job to Anthony Richardson behind Daniel Jones over the summer. Across five regular-season appearances last season, Leonard completed just 58.2 percent of his 67 pass attempts for 415 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, averaging a subpar 6.2 yards per attempt.

Singleton (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.

The rookie fifth-rounder will be a healthy scratch Week 1 while the Titans role with three active running backs in Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears and Julius Chestnut. Singleton's next opportunity to make his NFL regular-season debut is Week 2 against the Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 20, though he's unlikely to suit up for that contest unless one of Pollard, Spears or Chestnut is sidelined.

Sarratt (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.

The wide receiver made the team out of training camp but remains behind Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Ja'Kobi Lane on the depth chart. He is also behind LaJohntay Wester on the punt-returner depth chart.

Howard (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Steelers' emergency third quarterback against the Falcons on Sunday.

As the emergency third quarterback, Howard is prohibited from playing in Sunday's game unless both Rodgers and Rudolph were to be removed due to injury, illness or ejection.

Giddens (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Giddens missed a big chunk of training camp and the preseason due to a hamstring injury, and he was passed on the depth chart by rookie Seth McGowan as the RB2 behind workhorse back Jonathan Taylor.

Woods (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Woods was injured in practice this week and won't get to face his former team after spending the 2022-24 campaigns with Carolina. The Chicago secondary is already in disarray, with Coby Bryant (knee) on injured reserve and Kyler Gordon (calf) on reserve/PUP to begin the season.

Green (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars.

The rookie is serving as the emergency third option behind Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, which means he can only enter the contest if the first two quarterbacks are injured, sick or otherwise unavailable. Green was selected in the sixth round of the draft out of Arkansas.

Bagent (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Bagent didn't practice at all during the week, so Case Keenum will serve as the QB2 behind Caleb Williams against Carolina. Bagent logged a total of 14 offensive snaps last regular season.

Porter (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Porter missed all of training camp due to a back injury, and while he returned to practice in a limited capacity this past week to draw the questionable tag, the 2023 second-rounder has not hit enough benchmarks to be cleared to play in Sunday's regular-season opener. Asante Samuel and Daylen Everette are candidates to start opposite Jamel Dean at outside cornerback for Week 1. Porter's next opportunity to play is Week 2 against the Patriots on Sunday, Sept. 20.
