  • 49ers' Eddy Pineiro: Won't play Week 12

Pineiro (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Panthers, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Pineiro was unable to practice all week due to a right hamstring injury, and he will not play in Monday night's game as a result. In his absence, Matt Gay will likely be elevated from the practice squad to the active roster. Pineiro's next opportunity to play is Week 13 against the Browns on Sunday, Nov. 30.

  • Zach Harrison DE | ATL

Falcons' Zach Harrison: Lands on injured reserve

The Falcons placed Harrison (knee) on IR on Saturday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

Harrison first hurt his knee in mid-October. He missed two games before returning to action in Week 10 against Indianapolis. However, Harrison sat again during Week 11 and had already been deemed out for this Sunday before being moved to IR. Atlanta coach Raheem Morris said Saturday that Harrison had a setback with his knee and will need to get the issue "fixed," which may mean the third-year pro is going to need surgery.

  • Packers' Pierre Strong: Elevated for Week 12

The Packers elevated Strong from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Strong has been on Green Bay's practice squad since September and was already brought up to the active roster once this season as extra depth in the backfield. The fourth-year pro will be available to play a similar role again for Week 12 if Josh Jacobs is unable to play.

  • Falcons' Billy Bowman: Moved to IR

The Falcons placed Bowman (Achilles) on injured reserve Saturday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

Bowman suffered an Achilles injury during Atlanta's walkthrough Friday, and the issue is serious enough for him to land on IR. As a result, he'll miss at least the next four games, though his absence may extend longer given the nature of the injury. The Falcons signed cornerback Cobee Bryant to the 53-man roster Saturday to help absorb the loss of Bowman. Dee Alford may see the biggest jump in defensive snaps following Bowman's injury.

  • Kalel Mullings RB | TEN

Titans' Kalel Mullings: Activated off IR

The Titans activated Mullings (ankle) from injured reserve Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official website reports.

Mullings has officially been activated off injured reserve after his practice window was opened 12 days ago. The 23-year-old is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Seattle, but this move, along with three straight full practices, gives him a chance to appear in his third game this season, likely on special teams.

  • Rams' Brennan Presley: Elevated for Week 12

The Rams elevated Presley from their practice squad Saturday.

Presley signed with Los Angeles as an undrafted free agent in late April and had a strong preseason, but he was ultimately left off the team's initial 53-man roster. The Oklahoma State product subsequently signed with the Rams' practice squad, and he's getting his first elevation in Week 12. Whether Presley sees any snaps on offense could depend on whether Xavier Smith (concussion) is able to play.

  • Tory Horton WR | SEA

Seahawks' Tory Horton: Lands on injured reserve

The Seahawks placed Horton (groin/shin) on injured reserve Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Horton was set to miss a third consecutive game due to shin and groin injuries. His placement on injured reserve means he'll be required to miss at least the next four games, which makes Week 16 against the Rams on Thursday, Dec. 18 the earliest he can be activated from IR. Horton's extended absence means Cooper Kupp, Rashid Shaheed, Jake Bobo and Cody White are all slated for more work on offense behind WR1 Jaxon Smith-Njigba, while Shaheed should continue to operate as the Seahawks' primary punt returner.

  • Kaiir Elam CB | KC

    Kaiir Elam: Cut by Cowboys

    Dallas waived Elam on Saturday.

Elam was acquired by Dallas in a trade in March and logged every defensive snap for the team over the first three weeks of the season. However, the 2022 first-round draft pick saw his playing time fluctuate thereafter, and Elam didn't log any defensive snaps while playing three snaps on special teams last Sunday against Las Vegas. Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News indicates that Elam's removal from the roster suggests the Cowboys have ample confidence in their current outside corners -- including rookie Shavon Revel and second-year pro Caelen Carson.

  • Bengals' Gary Brightwell: Elevated off practice squad

Brightwell was elevated from the Bengals' practice squad Saturday.

Brightwell has been on Cincinnati's practice squad since August. He is expected to play a depth role for the Bengals in Week 12, as fellow running back Samaje Perine is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Patriots. The 26-year-old Brightwell will play behind starter Chase Brown and Tahj Brooks.

  • Malik Davis RB | DAL

Cowboys' Malik Davis: Joins Dallas' active roster

The Cowboys signed Davis to their active roster off the practice squad Saturday.

Davis logged a season-high 19 percent offensive snap share and turned in campaign-high marks with four carries for 20 yards last Sunday against Las Vegas. He reverted back to the Cowboys' practice squad Wednesday, but Dallas has now decided to sign him to the active roster. Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News speculates that Davis will take on the No. 2 RB role behind Javonte Williams, which is how he had been deployed the past two weeks. Jaydon Blue thus seems marked for third in the RB pecking order.
