Monangai is poised to lead the Bears backfield Sunday at Cincinnati in the wake of D'Andre Swift (groin) being ruled out, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.

Both Swift and Roschon Johnson (back) were unable to practice this week due to their respective injuries, and Chicago ruled out both players on Friday's practice report. Swift's health concern in particular has been lingering for weeks, so perhaps the Bears are giving him the week off with the long term in mind. In any case, Monangai will be the primary beneficiary Sunday, and the rookie seventh-round pick's average of 4.4 yards per carry so far as a pro indicates a fruitful performance is very possible against the Bengals' league-worst run defense (151.9 yards per game).

Wilson (hamstring) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

The 26-year-old from Florida didn't return to practice after missing the Bengals' Week 8 loss to the Jets with a hamstring injury, so it's no surprise that he'll likely be sidelined again Sunday. If Wilson misses the Week 9 contest as expected, Josh Newton will likely operate as Cincinnati's top reserve boundary corner.

Moore (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bills.

The 27-year-old from Western Michigan popped up on Kansas City's injury report Friday as a non-practice participant due to an illness, putting him in jeopardy of missing the Week 9 contest. If Moore is sidelined Sunday, Wanya Morris is expected to start at left tackle.

Burden (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Cincinnati.

Burden suffered a concussion during this past Sunday's loss at Baltimore and wasn't able to practice in any capacity during Week 9 prep. With no progress to speak of yet through the protocol for head injuries, he could be in danger of missing multiple contests. Meanwhile, the rest of the Bears' banged-up wide receivers don't have designations going into the weekend, meaning Rome Odunze (heel), DJ Moore (hip/groin) and Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) all are poised for their typical roles in the passing game.

Simmons (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Simmons will miss his third straight game as he tends to a family matter. Jaylon Moore figures to make another start at left tackle, protecting Patrick Mahomes' blind side.

Zaccheaus (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bengals, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.

With Luther Burden (concussion) out, Zaccheaus should see the bulk of the WR3 snaps behind Rome Odunze and DJ Moore. The matchup is good, but Zaccheaus hasn't seen enough target volume to warrant fantasy lineup consideration outside of daily fantasy contests.

Johnson (groin) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs.

Johnson likely sustained this groin injury during Friday's practice, as he popped up on the injury report as a limited participant after not being featured Wednesday or Thursday. The 29-year-old is an integral part of Buffalo's defense, recording 25 total tackles and two passes defended over six appearances this season. If he's sidelined for the Week 9 matchup, Cam Lewis is likely to operate as Buffalo's top slot corner.

Pacheco (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills after not practicing this week.

With the Chiefs on bye Week 10, Pacheco's next chance to see game action will arrive Sunday, Nov. 16 against the Broncos. In Pacheco's absence this weekend, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com indicates that Kareem Hunt is in line to start Sunday's contest, with Brashard Smith and Elijah Mitchell in line to back him up, per ESPN.com.

Kmet (back) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Kmet will return from a one-game absence and likely continue rotating with rookie Colston Loveland, who caught three passes for 38 yards in the loss to Baltimore last week. A favorable matchup with the Bengals should lead to some TE production, but it's hard to say which guy will come out ahead in terms of snaps and routes, never mind targets.
