  • Kaden Elliss LB | NO

Falcons' Kaden Elliss: Records interception in loss

Elliss recorded nine tackles (four solo) and an interception during Sunday's 20-10 loss at San Francisco.

49ers quarterback Mac Jones only threw 26 passes in Week 7, and Elliss nabbing a pick in the red zone in the middle of the second quarter is probably a big reason why. Elliss will look to keep up the momentum in coverage against a pass-happy Dolphins team in Week 8.

  • Xavier Watts SAF | ATL

Falcons' Xavier Watts: Racks up nine tackles Sunday

Watts recorded nine tackles (three solo) during Sunday's 20-10 loss at San Francisco.

The 49ers created plenty of tackling opportunities by running the ball 39 times in Week 7, and Watts seized his share of stops, tying his season-high total. He might not get quite so many chances when Atlanta hosts a pass-heavy Dolphins offense in Week 8.

  • C.J. Ham FB | MIN

Vikings' C.J. Ham: Doesn't practice Tuesday

Ham (hand) did not participate in Tuesday's walkthrough.

Ham has opened the week with back-to-back DNPs due to a left hand injury that he sustained against the Eagles on Sunday. He would have to practice in at least a limited capacity Wednesday in order to have a realistic chance of playing against the Chargers on Thursday.

  • K.J. Britt LB | NE

Dolphins' K.J. Britt: Not a factor Sunday

Britt played one defensive snap and 23 special teams snaps during Sunday's 31-6 loss at Cleveland.

When Tyrel Dodson sat out with a concussion in Week 6, Britt filled in and ultimately led Miami in tackles. But with Dodson healthy and available again in Week 7, Britt was all but completely phased out of the Dolphins' defensive game plan. He doesn't figure to play a significant role at linebacker unless one of Jordyn Brooks or Dodson is out of the picture.

  • Panthers' A'Shawn Robinson: Picks up sack in Week 7 win

Robinson registered four tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, in a 13-6 win over the Jets on Sunday.

Robinson's sack was a takedown of Justin Fields on the final play of the first half. The veteran defensive tackle has 2.0 sacks on the season, and they've both come over the past three weeks. Through seven games, Robinson has 25 total tackles and two defensed passes.

  • Zavier Scott RB | MIN

Vikings' Zavier Scott: Limited in walk-through session

Scott (wrist) was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Scott has been listed as a limited practice participant in each of the first two days of the week due to a wrist injury he picked up in the Vikings' Week 7 loss to the Eagles. Before deciding whether Scott carries a designation into Thursday's game against the Chargers, the Vikings will see if he's able to increase his activity level Wednesday. In related news, fellow running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday, and he could be a candidate to be activated ahead of Thursday's game. If Jones isn't added back to the roster for Week 8, however, Scott -- if available -- would serve as the top backup to Jordan Mason.

  • Tre'von Moehrig SAF | CAR

Panthers' Tre'von Moehrig: Brings down QB in Week 7 win

Moehrig registered six tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, Sunday in a 13-6 victory versus the Jets.

Moehrig's sack came less than 30 seconds before halftime after New York had entered Carolina territory. It was his first sack of the campaign, and he now has 4.0 regular-season sacks in his five-year career. Moehrig is up to 46 tackles through seven games this season.

  • Dolphins' Minkah Fitzpatrick: Unremarkable day in loss

Fitzpatrick recorded four tackles (three solo) during Sunday's 31-6 loss at Cleveland.

On a day where Cleveland only ran 53 plays on offense, Fitzpatrick logged a season-low 48 defensive snaps in Week 7. That led to a relatively low tackle total Sunday, but he's still on pace for 100-plus stops on the year going into a Week 8 matchup at Atlanta.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Limited in return to practice

Jones (hamstring) was a limited participant at the Vikings' walkthrough practice Tuesday.

Jones was designated for return from injured reserve Tuesday and had his reps capped in his first practice since Week 2. The running back has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in a Sept. 14 loss to the Falcons, but after missing the required four games, he's eligible to be activated from IR at any time. According to Ben Goessling of The Minnesota Star Tribune, Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell expressed optimism earlier Tuesday that Jones would be able to play Thursday against the Chargers, noting that the running back doesn't necessarily need a full week of practice to play because of the rehab work that he's been able to do off to the side in recent weeks. The Vikings should provide more clarity on Jones' Week 8 status when they release their final injury report Wednesday.

  • Vikings' Andrew Van Ginkel: Limited Tuesday

Van Ginkel (neck) was limited in Tuesday's walkthrough.

Van Ginkel has been listed as limited in each of the Vikings' first two walkthroughs of the week, so his participation in Wednesday's session will shed light on his chances of returning from a three-game absence Thursday against the Chargers. Dallas Turner would continue to see an increased workload at outside linebacker if Van Ginkel is not cleared to return.
