The Broncos placed Thomas (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Ben Swanson of the team's official site reports.

The nature and severity of Thomas' injury isn't clear, but he won't be eligible to be elevated to the Broncos' active roster for at least four games. That makes Week 11 against the Chiefs on Sunday, Nov. 16 the earliest he would be able to be called up from the practice squad.

The Cowboys waived Cropper on Tuesday.

The move corresponds with the impending returns of fellow wideouts CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot), and the Cowboys are hoping that Cropper can clear waivers and return to the team on the practice squad, per Todd Archer of ESPN.com. Cropper played in the Cowboys' last three games and saw additional work as a returner during Sunday's 30-27 road loss to the Panthers. He finished that contest with 38 yards on two kickoff returns and 19 yards on two punt returns.

The Browns placed Bell (hip) on the reserve/retired list Tuesday.

Bell announced his retirement via social media Tuesday, saying he suffered an off-field injury that jeopardized his career. He'd been on the reserve/non-football injury list since the start of the season. Bell was a third-round pick in 2022 and totaled 41 catches for 408 yards and three touchdowns across 32 regular-season appearances with Cleveland.

Head coach Sean McDermott said Tuesday that Bernard is considered "day-to-day" due to an ankle injury he sustained during the Bills' 24-14 loss to the Falcons on Monday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Bernard played 41 snaps (38 on defense, three on special teams) and tallied four tackles (two solo) prior to his injury. The Bills are on a bye for Week 7, so it's possible that the fourth-year linebacker is available for the Bills' Week 8 road clash against the Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 26. With Shaq Thompson filling in for the injured Matt Milano (pectoral), Joe Andreessen would be a candidate to see more snaps on defense if Bernard were to be sidelined.

The Jets cut Williams from the practice squad Tuesday, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.

The move makes room on the Jets' practice squad for fellow wide receiver Trenton Irwin. Williams joined the Jets' practice squad Oct. 3 and was elevated for Week 5 loss to the Cowboys, when he returned five kickoffs for 133 yards and four punts for 41 yards across 12 snaps on special teams. Williams should garner interest from teams looking for another return option on special teams.

The Jets signed Irwin to the practice squad Tuesday, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.

The 29-year-old wideout out of Stanford was unable to make the Jaguars' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he'll get another opportunity with the Jets on the practice squad. Irwin has appeared in 41 regular-season games since 2019 (23 of which came in 2023 and 2024 when he was a member of the Bengals) and has accumulated 46 catches (on 72 targets) for 601 yards and five touchdowns in his NFL career.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson said that Moore is nursing a groin injury but has returned to Chicago after being hospitalized in Washington, D.C. overnight following Monday's 25-24 win over the Commanders, Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network reports.

The injury didn't cost Moore any extensive playing time Monday, with the wideout finishing the contest with three catches for 42 yards on five targets to go with two carries for 10 yards. The 28-year-old was nonetheless admitted to a local hospital after the game due to the injury, though he was held overnight merely for precautionary purposes. Johnson said that the Bears will continue to monitor Moore's status, but for now, the receiver still looks to have a chance at playing Week 7 against the Saints.

The Buccaneers cut Prieskorn from the practice squad Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

The move makes room on the Bucs' practice squad for running back Michael Wiley. Prieskorn -- an undrafted rookie out of Ole Miss -- will look to catch on with another team in need of tight end depth on the practice squad.

The Titans placed Oladejo on injured reserve with a fractured leg Tuesday.

Oladejo suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Raiders, but the injury isn't expected to be a season-ender for the second-round rookie, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports. Oladejo has produced 13 tackles (five solo) and a pair of QB hits on 61 percent of the defensive snaps off the edge for the Titans this season.
