Xavier Smith WR | LAR
Rams' Xavier Smith: Limited in walkthrough
Smith (chest) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
In Monday's 27-24 loss in Atlanta, Smith ranked third among Rams wide receivers in snap share with 51 percent behind Puka Nacua (74 percent) and Konata Mumpfield (66 percent). However, Smith paced the team with 67 receiving yards on his four catches. Assuming he's able to play through his chest injury Sunday against the Cardinals, he should continue to earn consistent looks from QB Matthew Stafford because No. 2 WR Davante Adams is expected to miss a third game in a row, as coach Sean McVay told Grosbard on Wednesday.

Jaylen McCollough DB | LAR
Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Limited in Wednesday's walkthrough
McCollough (hip) was a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
McCollough was able to return to Monday's loss against the Falcons after briefly exiting due to a hip injury. He'll have two more chances to log a full practice and potentially avoid an injury tag for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cardinals. McCollough has accumulated 22 tackles (14 solo) and three pass defenses in the nine games since the Rams' Week 8 bye.

Omar Speights LB | LAR
Rams' Omar Speights: Working through ankle injury
Speights (ankle) was estimated as a limited practice participant on Wednesday's injury report, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Speights may have tweaked his ankle during Monday's loss to the Falcons, when he logged eight tackles (three solo) while playing 65 snaps (46 on defense, 19 on special teams). The Rams hosted a walkthrough practice Wednesday, so the second-year linebacker will have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cardinals.

Bryan Bresee DT | NO
Saints' Bryan Bresee: Remains out of practice
Bresee (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Bresee didn't practice at all last week and sat out Sunday's win over Tennessee. With a DNP to begin Week 18 prep, his potential to return to action for New Orleans' season finale this coming Sunday in Atlanta is shaky, at best. Should Bresee need to sit out again, Jonathan Bullard and Nathan Shepherd (ankle) would be candidates for more defensive snaps.

Caelen Carson DB | DAL
Cowboys' Caelen Carson: On track to play Week 18
Carson (shoulder/hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Shoulder and hamstring injuries prevented Carson from playing in each of the Cowboys' last two games, but his full practice Wednesday puts him on track to return for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Giants. With Trevon Diggs being claimed off waivers by the Packers on Wednesday, Carson and Trikweze Bridges figure to be the Cowboys' two starting outside corners for Week 18.

Demario Davis OLB | NYJ
Saints' Demario Davis: Dealing with calf issue
Davis logged a limited practice session Wednesday due to a calf injury.
Davis presumably picked up the injury in this past Sunday's win over Tennessee. His ability to post a limited session Wednesday suggests the issue isn't especially severe, though the veteran linebacker's status for Week 18 is still uncertain. New Orleans has long been eliminated from playoff contention, so the team doesn't have much reason to roll out Davis if he's not fully ready to play.

Shavon Revel Jr. CB | DAL
Cowboys' Shavon Revel: DNP to open Week 18 prep
Revel (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Revel entered the league's concussion protocol following the Cowboys' win over the Commanders on Christmas Day. Even if he does return to practice over the next two days, the rookie third-rounder would have to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play against the Giants in Sunday's regular-season finale. Revel has accumulated 32 tackles (20 solo) and three pass defenses over his last five games.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Rams' Davante Adams: Unlikely to play Sunday
Coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that he doesn't expect Adams (hamstring) to play Sunday against the Cardinals, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Adams hasn't practiced since aggravating an existing hamstring injury Week 15 against the Lions, missing two games so far. He appears destined to make it three straight absences this weekend based on McVay's comments. If that comes to pass, Puka Nacua, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith (chest, LP on Wednesday), Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington will comprise the Rams' receiving corps.
-
DeMarvion Overshown LB | DAL
Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Limited in Wednesday's practice
Overshown (concussion) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Overshown entered the league's concussion protocol during the Cowboys' Week 16 loss to the Chargers, which prevented him from playing against the Commanders on Christmas Day. His ability to practice in a limited capacity indicates that he is progressing in his recovery, but Overshown would need to be cleared from the league's protocol by an independent neurologist in order to be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Giants.

Hassan Haskins RB | LAC
Chargers' Hassan Haskins: Able to log limited practice Wednesday
Haskins (concussion) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Haskins suffered a concussion Saturday versus the Texans, but his limited practice to begin Week 18 prep suggests he could return this Sunday against Denver. For that to happen, though, he'd have to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. If Haskins is able to play, he could have an elevated role on offense since head coach Jim Harbaugh has already indicated he'll rest at least some starters ahead of Los Angeles' upcoming playoff run.
