The Browns named Watson their starting quarterback Monday, multiple sources tell NFL reporter Jordan Schultz.

Watson won out in a job battle with Shedeur Sanders, after the quarterbacks alternated starts in the Browns' first two preseason contests. After an efficient showing in the preseason opener against the Bears (11-for-15 for 126 yards), Watson was unproductive over his four second-half drives in Saturday's 31-7 exhibition loss to the Bills, completing just five of 12 throws for 36 yards and an interception. The Browns were apparently encouraged enough from what they've seen from Watson over the course of training camp and the first two preseason tilts to move forward with him as their starter heading into the regular season, but he'll most likely be on a short leash. Since joining the Browns in 2022, Watson has posted a lowly 33.1 QBR while being limited to 19 total games due to injuries, including a torn right Achilles tendon and a subsequent re-rupture that kept him out for the entire 2025 season.

Boston went without a target while playing 11 snaps on offense Saturday in the Browns' 31-7 preseason loss to the Bills.

After drawing two targets in the Browns' preseason opener a week earlier against the Bears and connecting with Deshaun Watson on a nifty 15-yard catch and run, Boston was held quiet in his limited snaps during the second exhibition game. Notably, Jerry Jeudy and KC Concepcion were both rested Saturday while Boston played, which suggests that the rookie second-round pick out of Washington currently sits no higher than third on the depth chart.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said that Clark will be out for "multiple months" after fracturing his right ankle in Sunday's 19-16 preseason loss to Tennessee, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

A rookie second-round pick, Clark had been working with the Seahawks' second-team defense for most of the summer but entered the starting lineup Sunday while Macdonald rested most of the team's usual starters. Clark ended up playing just one snap, as he was carted off the field on the Titans' opening drive and was later fitted for an air cast. With a multi-month absence on tap for Clark, he'll likely be moved to injured reserve prior to Week 1 and will hope to return at some point in the second half of the season.

Slye converted all four of his field-goal attempts and made his only PAT try in Sunday's 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks.

Slye has been locked in this preseason. He hit all four of his field-goal attempts in the preseason opener against San Francisco, with a long of 58 yards, and Slye added another 4-for-4 performance Sunday. Slye was true from 55, 33, 40 and 43 yards against the Seahawks. The big-legged kicker is thriving in the low-pressure environment of the preseason, but Slye has had accuracy issues creep up during the past three regular seasons, converting 80 percent or fewer of his field-goal attempts in each of those campaigns.

Lock completed 12 of 14 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown while rushing twice for eight yards in Sunday's 19-16 preseason loss to the Titans.

Lock started with Sam Darnold resting, and the veteran backup posted a sharp performance as Seattle's backups outplayed Tennessee's starters. All 16 of the Seahawks' points came in the first quarter. Any lingering doubts about Lock securing the second spot on the depth chart over 2025 third-round pick Jalen Milroe were erased by Milroe's poor second-half performance, as the former Alabama QB threw for just 52 yards with two interceptions.

Henderson caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 19-16 preseason loss to the Titans. He also returned two kickoffs for 47 yards and notched two solo tackles on special teams.

Henderson was drafted in the sixth round primarily with special teams in mind, and the rookie out of Kansas showcased his versatile skill set in that phase of the game during Week 2 of the preseason. His special-teams ability has Henderson in good position to make the 53-man roster, but he isn't expected to contribute much on offense early on.

Arroyo caught two of four targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 19-16 preseason loss to the Titans.

Arroyo capped Seattle's opening drive with a 36-yard touchdown reception from Drew Lock. After producing only 179 receiving yards in his rookie regular season, Arroyo is trying to earn a larger role in his second NFL campaign. The 2025 second-round pick is set to open his sophomore season as the team's No. 2 TE behind AJ Barner.

Spears rushed twice for two yards and caught all three of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks.

Spears featured on Tennessee's second and third drives with the starters after Tony Pollard turned three touches into 45 scrimmage yards on the team's opening possession. Pollard is expected to lead the backfield once again, but Spears should get his fair share of touches in a prominent change-of-pace role. Spears has 383 combined carries and targets in 42 regular-season appearances through three years in the NFL for a career average of 9.1 touches per game on offense.

Ward completed eight of 12 passes for 69 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks.

Ward put forward a second consecutive uninspiring preseason performance, as the Titans trailed Seattle's backups 16-3 after his three drives in the game. He also had the ball knocked out of his hands while scrambling for a fumble out of bounds that went down as a sack. The 2025 first overall pick has averaged just 5.3 yards per pass attempt while failing to throw a touchdown pass this preseason. Tennessee will wrap up preseason play Saturday against the Bears.

Pollard rushed twice for 12 yards and caught his only target for 33 yards in Sunday's 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks.

All of Pollard's touches came within Tennessee's first five offensive plays of the game as he helped set up a field goal on the opening drive. Tyjae Spears played the next two drives with the starters, neither of which led to any points. Pollard sits atop Tennessee's running back depth chart after producing at least 1,288 yards from scrimmage in each of the last four regular seasons, half of which have come with the Titans.
