Tate didn't catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks.

Tate now has gone without a catch on five targets through two preseason games. It's too early to press the panic button for the rookie No. 4 overall pick, though it would have been nice for Tate to show some rapport with 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward. Tennessee's starters were outscored 16-3 in the first quarter by Seattle's backups, so Tate is far from the only Titans player underperforming this preseason. On the bright side, Tate showed that he's healthy Sunday after battling some stiffness in practice leading up to the game.

Jeanty is believed to have a sprained ankle that "is not considered a long-term injury," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

There was concern about Jeanty's status after he was injured at Sunday's practice and reportedly could not put any weight on his leg, but the initial diagnosis appears more promising than not, with the report noting the Raiders are "breathing a sigh of relief." Both the full extent of Jeanty's injury and a recovery timeline have not yet been revealed, and his status will be updated again when more information is released.

Tuten excelled as a receiver out of the backfield at Sunday's practice, per John Shipley of SI.com.

The Jaguars appear to be directing more passes Tuten's way at practice following the soft-tissue injury suffered by LeQuint Allen (undisclosed), who had been penciled in as the team's preferred backfield option in passing situations. Ameer Abdullah could take some passing-down work if he makes the team, but Tuten has more receiving upside than Chris Rodriguez, who has just six receptions in 35 career regular-season appearances. Tuten caught 10 of 14 targets for 79 yards and two touchdowns during his rookie regular season.

Jones was traded from the Saints to the 49ers in exchange for running back Zamir White on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jones signed a one-year deal with New Orleans on Aug. 7, but he'll now join the 49ers ahead of the 2026 campaign. The linebacker played in all 17 regular-season games with the Buccaneers in 2025, recording 29 total tackles (16 solo) while operating primarily as a special-teams asset. Jones will provide San Francisco with an additional veteran depth option at inside linebacker behind starters Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw this year.

White is being traded from San Francisco to New Orleans on Sunday in exchange for linebacker Deion Jones, per sources, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

White signed with San Francisco on Aug. 12 and is moving to New Orleans in a trade less than two weeks later. The 2022 fourth-round pick of the Raiders rushed for 451 yards in the 2023 regular season, but he compiled only 285 yards across three other campaigns. The Saints are banged up in the backfield, with Alvin Kamara (knee), Devin Neal (hamstring) and Audric Estime (ankle) all sidelined, leaving the oft-injured Kendre Miller as the top healthy backup to Travis Etienne prior to White's arrival.

Clark was carted off the field with a right leg injury during Sunday's preseason matchup with the Titans, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Clark was making the start at free safety with Seattle resting all of its starters Sunday, but he suffered an injury on the first play of the game. The 24-year-old had an air cast on his right leg and, as a result, he may be set for an extended absence.

Tate (undisclosed) is in uniform for Sunday's preseason game against the Seahawks.

Tate took part in warmups before the start of Sunday's preseason game and is set to take part in the action, with Tennessee's starters expected to play most of the first half. The rookie fourth overall pick dealt with some stiffness earlier in the week but has gotten the green light to suit up for Tennessee's second preseason game. Tate will look to improve on last week's preseason debut against the 49ers, in which he failed to catch any of his three targets.

Lock will start Sunday's preseason game against the Titans, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Sam Darnold won't play in Sunday's preseason game despite going through warmups in pads, paving the way for Lock to start for the second time in as many preseason games. Jalen Milroe is also expected to see action under center for the Seahawks on Sunday. Lock completed nine of 13 passes for 40 yards and a touchdown in the preseason opener against the Cowboys.

The Texans are expected to sign Odum to a contract as of Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Odum's last NFL role was with the Colts' practice squad in late 2025. The safety participated in three games with the team last season, logging 38 special teams snaps for four tackles (two solo). Odum will provide additional depth to the Texans' secondary as they finish the preseason against the Panthers on Friday.

The Texans are expected to sign Vaughn to a contract as of Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Vaughn is likely being signed as additional depth for the preseason. Jawhar Jordan (hip), British Brooks (hand) and Noah Whittington (ankle) are all dealing with injuries, so Vaughn has a significantly easier path to preseason snaps. The former Cowboys running back last played NFL football during the 2024 regular season, logging 17 rushes for 70 yards over seven games.
