Lance completed 10 of 16 passes for 73 yards while rushing twice for 42 yards in Thursday's 41-17 preseason loss to the 49ers.

Lance entered the game on the second drive, taking over for Justin Herbert. The quarterback played a rather safe and uneventful half, not reaching the end zone but also not taking any sacks or turning the ball over. The Chargers scored just three points in the half, off the back of a 21-yard Cameron Dicker field goal. Despite the lackluster day, Lance will likely see a similar snap share in next Thursday's preseason game against the Rams.

Lawrence won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Panthers, John Shipley of SI.com reports.

Lawrence also sat out the Jaguars' exhibition opener this past Saturday, giving him just one more chance for action next Friday versus the Buccaneers ahead of Week 1. In Lawrence's stead, Nick Mullens, Carter Bradley and Joey Aguilar will be the available quarterbacks for Jacksonville's offense.

Pineiro converted five PAT's and two field-goal attempts in Thursday night's 41-17 preseason win over the Chargers.

Pineiro made field goals from 48 and 45 yards out and was ultimately flawless on all seven kicks. The seventh-year veteran out of Florida looks set to carry over the momentum from a stellar 2025 season where he made 28 of 29 field-goal attempts and 34 of 38 extra-point tries over 14 regular-season games.

Bateman is facing three charges stemming from a domestic incident in June, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

The Ravens released a statement Friday: "We are aware of the situation involving Rashod and have been in direct communication with him. We notified the league office and have been cooperating throughout the process. As this is a pending legal matter, we will not have further comment." The NFL likely won't levy any sort of punishment on Bateman until the legal process plays itself out.

Dicker made his sole field-goal attempt but missed a PAT try in Thursday night's 41-17 preseason loss to the 49ers.

Dicker drilled a 21-yard field goal in the second quarter but failed to make his extra-point attempt in the third quarter. The kicker is 126-for-130 on PAT's in his regular-season career, so Thursday night's failure is quite rare. Lightning has struck twice, however, as Dicker missed a PAT in the prior Thursday's preseason win over the Texans as well, making this a pattern to at least monitor in the Aug. 27 preseason finale against the Rams.

Dowdle is suited up for Friday's preseason game versus the Jets, Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Dowdle thus is poised to make his Steelers debut after sitting out the team's exhibition opener last Thursday against the Packers. Both Dowdle and Jaylen Warren are in uniform Friday, and the former is looking to build upon the 1,373 yards from scrimmage and seven total TDs he racked up in 17 regular-season games in 2025 as a member of the Panthers.

Warren is in uniform for Friday's preseason game against the Jets, Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

After sitting out Pittsburgh's exhibition win over Green Bay last Thursday, both Warren and new backfield mate Rico Dowdle are suited up and appear set to get some valuable reps ahead of Week 1. Warren is coming off a 2025 campaign in which he racked up 1,291 yards from scrimmage and eight total TDs on 251 touches in 16 regular-season games.

Phillips (arm) will not play in Friday night's preseason game against the Jaguars, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Phillips' arm issue was likely sustained during Wednesday's joint practice with the Jaguars. The outside linebacker participated in the first few drives of last Saturday's game against the Bills, logging 1.0 sacks in the brief appearance. It is unclear how severe Phillips' injury is or if he will need to miss additional time. Princely Umanmielen will take over the role of primary edge rusher opposite Patrick Jones in Friday's contest.

Legette (lower body) will not participate in Friday night's preseason game against the Jaguars, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Legette had his leg rolled up on during Wednesday's joint practice with the Jaguars. The wide receiver was having a strong training camp and competing for No. 2 wide-receiver targets with Jalen Coker. Legette will likely be able to return before the end of training camp, but there has been no definitive recovery timeline released.

The Colts signed Galbreath to a contract Friday.

Galbreath was waived by the Steelers in early August. The tight end was likely brought in to bolster competition within the corps and provide depth for the preseason due to the absence of Tyler Warren (groin). Galbreath is a second-year player out of South Dakota who has not yet participated in an NFL regular-season game.
