  • Ryan Flournoy WR | DAL

Cowboys' Ryan Flournoy: Limited to begin Week 17 prep

Flournoy (knee) was estimated as a limited participant on Monday's injury report, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Flournoy was forced out of Dallas' loss to the Chargers in Week 16 due to an illegal hit by Denzel Perryman, for which the opposing linebacker has been suspended two games. It's encouraging to see Flournoy already evidently healthy enough to be listed as handling limited practice reps, though the Cowboys only held a walkthrough Monday. For his part, the wideout indicated that he's going to try to play Thursday against the Commanders, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News notes, but chances are, Flournoy will approach the contest with an injury designation.

  • Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Dealing with shoulder injury

Turpin (shoulder) is listed as limited on Monday's estimated injury report, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Turpin racked up an impressive 148 yards across six kickoff returns during Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers, but he was otherwise limited to just four touches on offense, compiling 27 total yards. He'll have two more chances to upgrade to a full practice ahead of Thursday's divisional matchup against the Commanders.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Steelers' DK Metcalf: Suspended for two games

Metcalf has been suspended two games for "conduct detrimental to the NFL for initiating a physical confrontation with a fan" during Sunday's game against the Lions, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Metcalf plans to appeal the suspension, but at this stage the wideout is slated to miss the Steelers' final two regular-season contests and would be eligible to return for the playoffs, should the team qualify. In Metcalf's looming absence, fellow WRs Calvin Austin (hamstring), Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling figure to see added opportunities, with TEs Darnell Washington, Pat Freiermuth and Jonnu Smith also candidates to absorb some of the targets that would otherwise go Metcalf's way.

  • Tre Harris WR | LAC

Chargers' Tre' Harris: Day-to-day, per coach

Coach Jim Harbaugh noted Monday that Harris is "day-to-day"with a finger injury, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.

In Sunday's 34-17 win over the Cowboys, Harris logged a 45 percent snap share, while catching caught four of his five targets for 54 yards in the contest. With the wideout now managing a finger injury, added context regarding his status for this Saturday's game against the Texans is slated to arrive no later than the posting of Tuesday's injury practice/ injury report.

  • Buccaneers' Anthony Nelson: Diagnosed with knee sprain

Coach Todd Bowles said Monday that Nelson suffered a sprained knee in Sunday's loss to the Panthers, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

Nelson played just three defensive snaps against Carolina before departing with the injury. On the season, the veteran edge rusher has recorded 38 tackles (21 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and a pair of pass breakups, including one interception. Chris Braswell and Jason Pierre-Paul will be candidates for increased playing time if Nelson needs to miss any further game action.

  • Cowboys' Javonte Williams: Still dealing with neck issue

Williams (neck) was estimated as a limited participant on Monday's practice report, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The Cowboys held a walkthrough Monday, so Williams' activity level is only an estimate. He also had his practice reps capped Week 16 due to his neck issue, but Williams managed to suit up versus the Chargers without any sort of injury designation. He handled nine rush attempts for 34 yards versus Los Angeles, while also securing two of three targets for nine yards. As long as he's able to remain at least limited in practice Tuesday and Wednesday, Williams will have a solid chance to avoid an injury designation again for Thursday's divisional matchup against the Commanders.

  • Bryan Bresee DT | NO

Saints' Bryan Bresee: Won't play against Tennessee

Coach Kellen Moore said Monday that Bresee (knee) will not play in Sunday's game against the Titans, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Bresee was injured in Sunday's win over the Jets, and Moore said they'll reevaluate Bresee next week to see if he'll be able to play in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Falcons. Bresee has started all 15 games this season, recording a career-high 37 tackles (15 solo), including 2.5 sacks, three pass breakups and one forced fumble on 69 percent of the defensive snaps.

  • Foster Moreau TE | HOU

Saints' Foster Moreau: Ruled out for Week 17

Coach Kellen Moore said Monday that Moreau (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Titans, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Moore said the team will monitor Moreau next week to see if he'll be able to play in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Falcons. Moreau was injured in Sunday's win over the Jets. Taysom Hill, Jack Stoll and Moliki Matavao will be candidates to see elevated snaps with Moreau out versus Tennessee.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Listed as non-participant

St. Brown (knee) is estimated as a non-participant on Monday's injury report.

Detroit held a walkthrough Monday, so St. Brown's lack of participation is only an estimation. The star wideout is coming off a 29-24 loss to the Steelers in which he secured four of nine targets for 54 yards and nearly added a touchdown, but he had the would-be score nullified by penalty. He now faces a short week of rest before Thursday's road matchup against the Vikings. St. Brown may have to resume practicing in at least a limited capacity Tuesday and/or Wednesday in order to be cleared for action on Christmas Day.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Day-to-day with sore foot

Coach Sean McDermott said Allen is considered day-to-day with a sore right foot, but he's expected to play Sunday against the Eagles, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Allen briefly exited Sunday's win over the Browns late in the second quarter and went to the locker room early, but he didn't miss any offensive snaps. He finished the day with 12 completions on 19 pass attempts for 130 scoreless yards. He rushed seven times for 17 yards. It would be a shock if Allen isn't under center Week 17 against Philadelphia.
